This is indeed a win for Pakistan. Surviving 5 sessions against the Australians is indeed a big time. Pakistan team has really shown immense professionalism in the match. The whole nation is celebrating the win as if we have won the match.

Baber Azam almost 200 runs (196 exactly) along with others batsmen shows the talent we have in the team. For Australians they miss the trick by not enforcing the follow on, maybe they wanted to give some rest to the bowlers at that point of time.

Let's not forget that it was the Pakistan team who were all out at 148 runs on a wicket which was declared as dead by the analysts. So it was not that difficult to stay on wickets on such a wicket.

Secondly, in the two test matches, Australians were confident in all 4 innings while Pakistan was comfortable in only three of the four innings.

Australia had the opportunity to enforce Pakistan in follow-on and asked them to bat again for the second innings. I'm wondering why Australia choose to bat again for their second innings, they had a big lead. They result of the match could have been different if they used the follow-on rules.

This is indeed a good come back from your team after they were all out for 148 runs in first innings. After the end of Australia first innings everyone was criticising the pitch but Pakistan first innings closed that topics. The match was exciting till the last three balls. It was Aussies who gave up when only two balls were left and they needed three wickets.

The third wicket and the fifth wicket partnership just saved Pakistan from a devastating loss against Australia. I really thought that there is no way Pakistan is going to even draw this match, let alone win the match, but they did really well.

And I also agree that the results of the match could have been very different if Australia forced Pakistan is to follow on.

Abdullah Shafiq missed out on a century and Babar Azam missed out on a double century, that would have been great to see. Mohammad Rizwan also played really well for his century.

We have another great escape and another 4th inning (5th day) failure of Aussie bowlers. Every time they were supposed to win or were in winning position but now it looks like more of a curse which started in Headingley, even new beautiful skipper patty couldn't do anything.

With this draw, point table is looking more competitive. Pakistan and Australia are eating each other points, other teams won't mind it. Having said that Draw (4 points) is better than losing a test (zero points).

The table is looking more competitive but Australia is still ahead of each and every team. I actually did not expect Pakistan to do this well, they exceeded expectations of a lot of people.
I have to say somewhere along the line Australian bowlers I will feel that they should have won the match, they had the platform set for them and they just could not deliver.

Also, the decision-making might come into play for this draw because If Australia send Pakistan to bat again it could have won the match.

The way Pakistan batted in the second inning, if Australia did not bat in the second innings as long as they did and scored a lead of 506 runs then Pakistan would have gone for the win as they reached close with 63 runs to win the entire match and if there was enough time left then it would have been a thrilling match as the tail end was exposed.

Funny thing is that Pakistan scored 443 runs in the second innings but only 3 players crossed double figures and went on to score big runs, the rest scored single digit runs .

Yeah, in hindsight we can say that but they also dropped couple of sitters and pitch was excellent to bat on. Pitch didn't deteriorate much even on 5th day and you can't expect to win test match on such track if you're dropping regular catches so its completely their fault. May be they should have gone with the follow-on but at that time it looked right decision, if we take game situation into the account.

First 7 days of this tour were boring af but last 3 days were fun and some fine character from the both side, which is good.

The only solution is to deduct points from the host, if the match ends in a draw. If the points are equally shared, then there is an incentive for the weaker teams to ensure that the match ends in a draw. So unless there is significant loss of overs due to rain interruption or other factors, the visitors should be given additional points in case the match doesn't produce a clear result. It will discourage teams from making such tracks in the future.

So the pitch was fine when Aussies bowled out Pakistan for just 148 runs in first innings but was dead when they fight back in second innings. I don't think it's pitch but the teams are strong enough to compete. Even in second innings Aussies keep taking wikcets and were just short of 3 wickets.

But, I am really hoping that this will change in the third test match. Otherwise, it will be absolutely boring to see another 5 days of batting without any intention except for surviving. I really don't understand why they don't make a pitch that is good and suitable for both batsmen and bowlers? You know, they do have great bowlers in their squad…

Right now we can say this draw is also win for Pakistan because staying at crease for 170 overs is never been easy for any team on any track against team like Australia, so this is without any doubt historic match for them with have some outstanding innings from top class batsmen against quality bowling.

But, here we have some concerns against Cummins captaincy as well because he has done big mistake and not give follow on after this at fielding they drop few catches which make big difference but still with all this we have very exciting end of this draw test which will be remembered for many years just because of Babar and Rizwan innings which make big difference.

Now in last and final test is going to play at Lahore which is also similar pitch like we have in Rawalpindi and Karachi so most chances this series is going to end in draw which could be really poor for all fans.
