From the beginning of the match, I think the Pakistan team is the favorite. Even after England gave a big target of 306, my guess was that Pakistan would win. Because of, they have experienced players like Babar Azam, Imam ul Haque and Fakhar Zaman in their squad. Although Fakhar Zaman has scored only 11 runs today. The Pakistan players have played with much confidence, because every player is simple to play their shots. It looks like they haven't experienced any pressure, bowlers on the other side tried the best. West Indies managed to make good runs, but they failed to restrict Pakistan with the bowling. I guess you are from Pakistan and you should be optimistic about your team. One thing which seems to be a concern for me is that this wicket was also a sort of dead wicket as we saw in the home series with Australians.

Well to be honest both teams have failed in the bowling department because the pitch was absolutely dead. There was nothing the bowlers could have done about that.

Kushdil might have played a big part in the win, but I thought that the MoM award belonged to Babar Azam. This guy (Babar) is just amazing. Did anyone checked his batting average so far in the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Super League? So far he has scored a total of 1,005 runs at an unbelievable average of 91.36. On the second place we have Paul Stirling of Ireland, who has 791 runs @ 46.52. Just check the gap between the first placed individual and the second one. The gap is too huge. And even more amazing is the fact that Babar is still in his 20s.

Today again Khushdil Shah scored 22 runs down in the order when Pakistan team were losing quick wickets. Babar Azam and Imam-ul-Haq set a good platform for the team as they both scored 70+ runs but still, Pakistani team was not able to capitalize on the good the start and they only scored 275 runs in the first innings. Now it is the test for the bowlers to defend this score on a batting wicket.

Today again Khushdil Shah scored 22 runs down in the order when Pakistan team were losing quick wickets. Now it is the test for the bowlers to defend this score on a batting wicket.

They could have easily won this match if they had batted responsibly like in the first match of the West Indies batsmen. But the performance of West Indies batsmen is not regular. They lost the first wicket by just 4 runs. After losing the second wicket for 71 runs, they lost the fourth wicket for 102 runs. At the moment, Pakistan seems to be the favorite to win the match.
