Australia somehow managed to win the match by two wickets only. It was a batting friendly pitch and Sri Lanka had set a good target too. The DLS method had made the game more favourable for Sri Lanka. But Stoinis has played well in the middle over and Maxwell has finished the game in his style. However, it was a competitive game in the last few overs as Australia had only two wickets left.

Sri Lanka has once again performed poorly in ODI format, and that too playing at home. Fortunately for them, this series is not part of the World Cup Super League, else they would have been in big trouble. Still, there is a very slim chance that Sri Lanka would be able to secure automatic qualification to the world cup, because they just have 62 points from 18 matches. Giving a good fight to their opponents won't help them in the long term. They need to win matches against the big 3 teams, and that's all that matters.

I actually don't think that Sri Lanka played that badly. I actually think they have done well enough in the batting department but yes, in the bowling department, the performance of Sri Lanka was questionable.
Except for Wanindu Hasaranga, no other bowlers of Sri Lanka were able to perform well and Australia really took advantage of that.
Sri Lanka had good enough runs on the board. Right now I don't see them winning against any bigger team.

Srilanka played quiet good this time. It was Maxwell who helped Australia to win the match. Srilankan spinners dominated the match after the drizzle. The ball was staying low and was spinning incredibly. If the medium pacer had bold good then Australia would have lost the match.

If I'm not wrong many would've made the bet over Australia and gone for sleep after watching the good position of Australia till the loss of five wickets. While waking up in the morning this will be a big surprise. The last five wickets were very well taken. Myself had a thought that the match could turn towards Sri Lanka, because all of the sudden the 6th and 7th wickets fell. Once after that Australia have managed to score just 12 runs.

The expectation of an dominant win by Australia were halted by Sri Lanka and it was an incredible bowling performance from Sri Lanka to restrict Australia and the rain restrictions have aided Sri Lanka as they needed to chase the score in 43 overs and i missed that while placing the bet and made a blunder loosing big time and the odds for Sri Lanka was above 7 at the time .

LOL.. somehow Australia managed to lose the match, thereby exposing the chinks in their armor in spin-friendly conditions. No one in Australian top or middle order had the patience to dig in and score a 50 or 100. Apart from David Warner, no one made a score greater than 30. And the lower order was a complete failure and added just 11 runs between them. And more surprisingly, Hasaranga didn't even played yesterday. Little known bowlers such as Dunith Wellalage and Chamika Karunaratne picked up a majority of the wickets.

It was a good bowling performance by Sri Lanka. Once again, Finch shows that he is clueless against spin, swinging erratically across the line and wasting a review when LBW. As a result of the rain delay, Australia became extremely complacent, and a lack of intensity was clearly evident. Every Australian got a chance to start, but none completed the task. Sri Lanka has made an incredible comeback! I congratulate Sri Lanka on leveling the series at 1-1.

Srilankan bowlers had a great day yesterday. The pitch helped them as the ball was not coming on the bat. The fielding was exceptionally better as compared to the 1st ODI. Australia started well and they were in a good position before finch got out. Maxwell did not last long this time and as soon as he was out I knew Srilanka would win this match.
