Right now Sri Lanka is in complete command of this match and going to win a historic series against mighty Australia which did a good score of 292 in fifty overs but an amazing partnership between Pathum Nissanka and Kusal Mendis is giving them a driving seat to win 146 runs in just 25 overs are enough for them with nine wickets remaining and they need 100 more runs in 17 overs which is not difficult on papers until know.

Sri Lanka completed the history win and i do not even know majority of the players in the team and they went on and defeated a star studded Australia and i will be remembering the name Pathum Nissanka if he continues to perform like this. It is possible that Australia underestimated the Sri Lankan young side and they paid the price and wonderful performance by the young Sri Lankan team..

Honestly, I really did not think this would happen and this shouldn't have happened as well. The Australian squad is really good and I never thought this Sri Lankan team is going to be able to beat this Australian team in a million years. And it is really surprising how Sri Lanka is in the lead. The Sri Lankan batsmen have played really well in the last match to reach the big score that was set by Australia. Honestly, I really did not think this would happen and this shouldn't have happened as well. The Australian squad is really good and I never thought this Sri Lankan team is going to be able to beat this Australian team in a million years. And it is really surprising how Sri Lanka is in the lead. The Sri Lankan batsmen have played really well in the last match to reach the big score that was set by Australia. Once after the loss in the first match Sri Lanka have managed to make the back to back wins. The second match was really interesting, because Sri Lanka managed to score 220 runs and restricting Australia within the score is truly difficult. Third match Sri Lanka reached the target close to 300 runs in a much comfortable manner losing 4 wickets and 9 balls remaining. Third match have brought big expectation, because losing the match will keep Sri Lanka win the series and win will keep Australia hope of winning the series alive. Australia have got the problem, as more players are into Sri Lanka for the first time.

I actually did not think that they would be able to change the 291 run target given by Australia. Netherlands looks to be in dire straits, with just 2 wins and 25 points from a total of 15 matches in the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup Super League. The performance from them was quite disappointing, and it will be very difficult for them to get similar opportunities in the future. Anyway, the ICC has scrapped the Super League system and have gone back to the qualification system based on ranking. This is very funny, because teams such as the Netherlands never gets enough matches against the top teams, to figure in the ranking system.

Sri Lanka managed to give a target of 259 runs. If Charith Asalanka was at the crease, maybe they would have been able to collect 15/20 more runs. Three Sri Lankan batsmen have been run-out today. Players should have played a little more cautiously. Maybe we will see Australia's victory today. The performance of the Australian players in the last two matches was irregular. If the batsmen bat responsibly today, it will be easy for Australia to score 259 runs.
