LOL... I have seen cricket matches taking place in South Asia, even when the temperature is above 45 degrees. And it is not like Australians are not used to these sort of weather. More than two-thirds of their own country is desert wasteland and some of the highest temperatures in the Southern Hemisphere were recorded there. So I am sure that the players are going to be fine (both the hosts, as well as the visitors). If it was England or New Zealand, then we could have said that the players may face a lot of difficulty.

Meanwhile Pakistan won the toss and elected to field first. They have given rest to shaheen and Dhani  is making debut in ODI today, also Hassan Ali is back today. West Indies are not in good form and they must be looking for a win today to make it a graceful ending.

Meanwhile Pakistan won the toss and elected to field first. They have given rest to shaheen and Dhani  is making debut in ODI today, also Hassan Ali is back today. West Indies are not in good form and they must be looking for a win today to make it a graceful ending.

The series has already been won by Pakistan. That's why they have decided to give rest to Shaheen Shah.

In the end, Pakistan win the match by 53 runs whitewashing west Indies 3-0

22 overs left and WI still need 130 runs to win with 4 wickets in hands. To me the game is very much over for WI and Pakistan will eaily win this game and whitewash the series. No noticeable performance in batting from WI in this match. Shadab khan was unlucky to miss his century. Pooran got 4 wickets but his batsmen couldn't take advantage of that.

And so my guess is that the above i mentioned  teams will be at the top of the World Cup Super League table. The performance of India and Australia needs to be further improved. The performance of their players is now completely irregular.

Shadab Khan made a difference in the match but when Akeal Hosein was in the crease, West Indies always had a possibility to win the match even though they lost 7 wickets as he was hitting the ball clean and was scoring at a high run rate and the odds which were in favor of Pakistan for the majority of the match started to change when he was in the crease till he was dismissed.

I was watching Akeal Hosein for the first time and they way he played he will be a prospect for West Indies in the future and he might get invitations from T20 franchise for his striking ability and he is a pretty decent spinner.

The team which is going to be in trouble is West Indies. They have played the maximum number of matches (21) and they just have 80 points. Now they have just 3 ODI matches remaining, and that too against a strong India side. As per my calculations, a team needs to win at least 10 matches (100 points) out of the total 24, if they want to remain in the top-8. In all probability, West Indies won't be able to do this and they will be required to participate in the qualifying tournament for the 2023 World Cup. For comparison, Ireland is currently having 68 points from 18 matches.

Celebration for Pakistan for a series win and the special thing is that this was a home series which they white wash 3-0.

They beat Australia in style earlier and now West Indies in ODI. The best thing for Pakistan is that cricket has come back to Pakistan. They have played for 10 years in UAE and that's a huge duration. Shadab Khan was a bit unlucky to miss his 100 but also lucky to get 4 wikcets.
