Pakistan is not playing much ODIs so there is no clear picture about how they are performing in ODIs. Last year they played only 9 ODIs (3 against Australia, 3 against Netherland and 3 against West Indies) they won all three series.
I think Babar will retain captaincy of T20 and ODI, as there performance in these two formats is somewhat "satisfactory" when compared with Test.  

There is no question about Babar the batman despite his poor strike rate in T-20.

I find him way too defensive captain across all formats. Shadab looks more proactive skipper than him, I've noticed this many times and said this couple of times here. Shan Masood's name is also popping up for captaincy tho.
