This is the only way to push through this season, they succeed on first Bubble same thing with MPBL so we might see another PBA bubble which is anticipated by many supporters.

There’s a lot of changes with PBA teams so every teams are working hard on this one, I’m rooting for a different teams to match in the finals, we’ll see how competitive those team this season.

Agree. This is not what others don't get. They will always have a question, can PBA sustain it? As if we know the full capability of PBA in terms of the financial aspect. And to sustain or not is not our problem anymore because there is no way PBA will push something if they think they can't handle the budget. What are they looking for is to minimize the cost of expenses but they have a budget.

MECQ now in Manila effective today until the end of April. Sports aren't allowed to open. It will be only allowed in MGCQ areas which are so far low chance to be implemented in Manila. Like last year, Manila didn't have a chance to be under MGCQ and it's likely to happen again this year. The only way for the league to open the conference right now or for few months to go is to play on MGCQ areas but since it will be outside Manila, then a bubble is really the option.

Bubble is better, they have done it before so they are confortable doing it again under the current situation. We were excited to see PBA back to its old ways, but this news really disrupt that plan and the management has no chance but to comply the directives of the government, however, they can still open the season in a bubble format, better than nothing.

This is their last option since if they didn't implement the bubble they cannot start the season as the government protocols is the main problem they will encounter here. But if they think bubble format is not profitable at their ends maybe the best thing to do is to postpone the league for a while and let the vaccine roll out for safety of all.

Yes, it's the easiest way to follow since they have done this before in the same situation, however, people are more aware now so there wouldn't be no more major problem if they'll do the bubble one more time. This bubble could also be different as we are not only talking of one conference here, maybe the same conference but I'm hopefully it will not all end in a bubble set up.

The huge problem of bubble set up is if 1 of the player or the staffs will get positive then they don't have a choixe to cancel the game and I think they will lose money for that scenarios thats why they are really thinking if its really worth to continue with bubble format. Yeah, just a formal announcement, and all of our expectations and speculations would be filled by that one huge announcement. Everyone agrees with the bubble setup because it's the best idea that they can do these days.
They're in a very situational event and it's still timely to do it, they don't have to imitate the NBA that most of them are back to their own courts because the situation is different and they've got more vaccines than us.

The main point triggered, they've got more vaccines than us, there's no chance imitating them as  it will only put the players and all the staff at risk.

With bubble set up, it's much lesser than doing the usual,. It's bubble or nothing, the case of covid still huge so for sure that's the concern.

we can only wait and see if when will the final announcement will be done to know if what will be the fate of this league.

You've got a point there mate but i think they have learned their lessons very well on the first bubble set-up and whatever problem they have encountered during the first bubble, they will address that and even improved if there is a second bubble setup.

Vaccine roll-out plus bubble set-up, i think that is enough for the PBA staff and players to feel safe.

BlackWater?? They have many guards already and same with Magnolia. The only teams that I know that will have a chance to give him a contract are TerraFirma and Meralco. Meralco because they maybe need another guard in their current roster and TerraFirma because his experiences as a player might help those younger players since he already is a veteran. Aside from the 2, I don't think that somebody will give him a contract.

Don't expect everything will be normal soon, even with the arrival of the vaccines. PBA will resume but probably in a bubble set up, but I just don't undertand what's their plan now as it's already April and they haven't made an announcement yet.

MECQ will last until the end of the Month and I think that will be the last one and Manila will revert back again to GCQ where the practice is now allowed.  Doing Math, the expected opening can be the 3rd or 4th week of May, of course still depends on what will be the situation that time.

There has been reports that the number of cases has gone down due to the measures in place now, so there's a good result of the MECQ and hopefully that would help to bring the measures down to GCQ, but as what most of us think here, PBA will surely be in a bubble once they commence.

Manila? There are no reports that the number of cases is decreasing. It was even more performing lol. Maybe just around your areas. The number of cases doesn't drop down if we talked about the entire Philippines and the most hotspots are on NCR Bubble Plus (Manila, Laguna, Rizal, Bulacan, Cavite). And the bad news, there's an increasing number of cases outside the NCR Plus so there's no such thing as numbers are being dropped.

I think it's right, Meralco once went into the Finals against Ginebra IIRC, and they have added some players that could help their campaign, I think they are really serious and Almazan has been a big help for this team.

I have to be honest with this, no matter what happens even if you put a super team against genebra there is only one way you can defeat them if you face them in the finals, is to bury them with 20 point lead every game, or else you can't win against them, I'm not speculating but refs are leaning to them, seen it with my own eyes watching the game, there is no way you can defeat them in the series, extend your lead to win.

Thanks for that estimate, I have no problem if they delay the start of the season but I hope they'll start soon. I already miss the action in the PBA, it's really different in the NBA, I mean I like to support our very own and the betting every game is something I miss also.

Taking it as more offense than suspending those players, we can't deny the fact that there are fixed
matches that being executed all around in any sports in our country.

Some rumors also being reported before, even in collegiate leagues or even inside PBA, but without solid evidence those are still hearsays!

Such actions from those names involves should investigae further, time to clean it up and bring good thing in the name of the league that they are participating.
