Your only input here is scamming and misinformation and when caught you say the same thing all scammers say, which is please just go away and leave us alone so you can continue scamming.  how odd that you contacted me with your fake stories and trying to sell me a scam invite for $50 and now you want me to go away because it didn't work.

a little cockroach who sells masks on BTC for $1.50 and has nothing but posts about selling and scamming is not going to tell devs and real users what do to.

you've been outed as the Idena scam crew, its in the screenshot and your posting history of scams and fraud accurately describes you.

I love your post about wanting $2500 up front for a programming job that you can't even describe and need the money up front. You're a true scammer in every sense. It's a little hard to image a $100/ hr programmer is the same scab selling $1.50 masks.

@RaiLai is the forum FRAUD

Why do you have always to go off topic on the idena thread? If you have an issue with me go on PM's. You know nothing kiddo. You know nothing.

Hey @Railai, don't bother with trolls, just ignore them (skip their posts and just reply to those who you think is on-topic and is worth your time).
Don't feed the trolls and ofc don't call them "kiddo" as kiddo stands for a smart kid (as far as I know).

Ignoring people is the sign of defeat and a loser.

Ignore tool is for spammers and scammers not people who you don't agree with or failed to make an argument against.

You guys keep dilluting the community by supporting the scammers but that always ends in a failed project. there is no meat in idena right now except a systematic control of the invites by a scam crew and the constant invite of people to third party sites, which ends the same way, they block and ban you if question anything and is simply a promotional tool.

Ignoring people is the sign of defeat and a loser.

If someone is repeating the same statements that was previously proven to be a lie or simply stupid than there is no other way to continue on topic discussion other than ignoring SPAMMER who is a TROLL PAID TO SPREAD FUD.

We can ignore you or add extra signature under every post with:
1- this is not self moderated topic. All deleted posts were deleted by Bitcointalk moderators because of off-topic or offensive content - not by IDENA team or community
2- You already proved that you don't know what "scam" word means. Your accusation is worthless than.
3- whole project is not a scam only because 1 random person asked for 50$
4- Selling something that is rare and hard to get is not scam
Bring here proof of deal. Proof of transfer (tx on bitcoin chain) and proof of killing identity (tx on idena chain) or proof of not receiving invitation. Than call someone scammer. Without that the only person who can be called scammer is you.
5 - Third party sites? Telegram and discord? ALMOST EVERY project use it.

Do i have to add this under every my on-topic post to answer unsubstantiated claims that you constantly repeat to avoid being accused of being defeated loser? - "Ignoring people is the sign of defeat and a loser."?

Interesting idea, identities have been falsified in normal business before I think is worth mentioning.   People are born but also die of natural causes and in some cases criminal activity goes onto use those identities in various ways.    Not really a criticism but I'd never assume any system was perfect, this is definitely a system of possible worth for being widely distributed and aligned to the original intentions of Bitcoin to make the world a less fragile less centralised and politically controlled place I think.
I'll be taking a great interest now I've noticed, I was already interested in proof of stake as a superior system to proof of work imo    Quite a few think POS favours the rich but as a capitalist I dont believe that is especially true as it requires all clients stake their coins in turn eventually.   I believe POS to be superior for the common people over the vast amount of work involved in POW which favours scales of economies and unfortunately can exclude the smallest elements in an economy.
Both POS and this project I would want to progress so we can see how reliable and useful they can be to the world.

PoS may look superior but it has many flaws and bugs.
Proof of Person blockchain solves some of the issues that both PoW and PoS have, but there is still room for improvements.

Hi everyone,
I was working on a linux bash script that can help you to setup and run your Idena node on VPS server. The script has been tested on Ubuntu 16.04 and 18.04, but it should work on all Ubuntu versions.

These are only few features that script is offering:
  • Easily install and add your node instances
  • Automatic update of all node instances on the server
  • In case of node error, automatically starts node instances - it takes about 1 second
  • Ability to migrate existing instances to new servers
  • Support for multiple instances per server
  • ... and many more

To setup it, it's as easy as to just run 2 commands:
Code:
source <(curl -sL https://gitlab.com/crackowich/idena-manager/-/raw/master/install)
idena-manager add

If you want to know more on how to install and manage your node instances, go to: https://gitlab.com/crackowich/idena-manager

So, no more manual installs and updates of node instances, no more screens and crashing of it.

I spent quite a lot of time developing this and I'm asking for your help to continue developing it. Please send donations to this idena address: 0x078dbf1f37d2f4561600c4d9de49bf3e498657ae

Also, there's a Discord server (I just created) for this, where you can ask any questions related to this script, and you can join by clicking on this link: https://discord.gg/BqsDvAk

Thanks!

Hi everyone,
if you're using Windows and have your node instance on VPS somewhere, you can download this script (to your desktop, for example) if you want to open tunnel to your VPS and start Idena client and the same time.

Just download script and edit first few lines to insert your VPS IP address, password, port.

Requirements are that you already have idena client (download from there: https://idena.io/?view=download) and Putty (download from here: https://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/putty/latest.html) installed.

Download this script here: https://gitlab.com/crackowich/idena-manager/-/raw/master/idena-run.bat?inline=false

If this is helping you, please donate to this idena address: 0x078dbf1f37d2f4561600c4d9de49bf3e498657ae

Thanks!

You don't quite understand the idena concept. The fact that DNA has a stake, doesn't make it minable by pos. The stake is what keeps you alive, what keeps your identity on the network.
By how old your identity is, the stake is smaller or bigger, but this does not affect how you are mining daily, instead will influnce the share from the minted coins.

Sounds even better now right?

She's crazy like a fool.

@krekovich
Looks like you know a lot of coding and blockchain, so you are not so newbie in here. Is that an alt, maybe from someone of the team?
Just asking out of curiosity.
Anyway good job!
Merited you as you have made some efforts in your scripts and posts. Cheers!

Hi, nope, this is all my work, from scratch. I was hoping that the team could review all of this and put into their FAQ on idena.io, but not sure if that's gonna happen.

As for the .bat file, it originated from someone on the team, but I just improved it so people don't have to know their usernames, etc, and it's way more easier to configure - so that's only an improvement.

For the idena-manager script (nodes on VPS), there's an easy way to migrate all currently running node instances to this script so you don't have to use screen, etc anymore. If anyone's interested, we can discuss about it.

Understood.
To make this happen (the team to review and put it into their Idena FAQ) I think you should try to contact reb0rn/rioda on Idena Discord.
You avoided the answer, but that's OK. Keep up the good work.

@krekovich It's nice that you try to help "green" in linux buddies but counting on donation in your literally second post on the forum is a bit too much for me ...
especially since there are so many toutorials on the web how to set up Idena Nod on VPS thanks to which doing this consists literally five times copy and paste like this one: https://myaltcoins.info/idena-review/#Running_Idena_Node_On_A_VPS

I here you, but the guy said there is a script. With this you will get rid of the manual setup of the tunnel settings for the VPS which I saw many users have some issues.
But I agree with you, asking for a donation from his 1st post isn't the best thing to do, maybe he inspired from this community member post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5194871.msg53888215#msg53888215 asking for a coffee tip.

As I've said earlier, I think is an old member with a new account, since is very savvy, crypto savvy.

Private key from nodekey file or encrypted with password private key generated directly from client. Just go to settings, export private key, input your password and press export.

I have some issue, I am not yet verified  I've used a VPS to run my node but for some reason, the address and the status that is showing is different, every time I run the remote node option I need an invite code again, but if I use the build-in node my original status is showing which is waiting for activation .

How do I transfer my status to the VPS or can my invite just kill the account and I will just use the invite code that he sent send me again is it possible?

Note the import options is not available yet in my client

Have you followed https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5194871.msg53829330#msg53829330?

The build in node is getting the nodekey from your own pc. When you use the remote node you use the nodekey from your vps. It generates a new one in the vps if it can't find an existing nodekey file. Check above link, especially from step 13 on.

Do we a code that we can use so the node will keep on running even if you close the putty I follow the guide but I guess I am missing something

You are asking why we try to build Proof of Person (breakthrough technology) that can be actually scalable, honest, fair instead of burning earth supply just to guess random number faster than others which will allow us to mine block? This computing power is not doing anything more. Idena is the most decentralized project with the most fair mining structure and still only few knew about it. If it will grow to top 100 CMC we will have 100 000 nodes. Can you imagine network that has 100 000 equal votes?
