I still have doubts about Manchester United for next season in the EPL, many predict that Manchester United will fail miserably with their new manager, Erik ten Hag. The reason is, Manchester United has lost several top players such as Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matic, Juan Mata, and Jesse Lingard.
and it is reported that until now Manchester United has not got a new player, it looks like Manchester United will be a topic that will continue to be discussed next season.
Manchester United will definitely improve in next season because their new manager has promised the fans that he will do everything within his power to make the team great again by giving the players new tactics that will sustain them through out the season. I think the manager will prepare their defense and midfield very well because that is the main challenges Manchester United are facing currently which the new manager will fix it well in next season.

You can feel sorry for Lukaku as much as you can say he deserves it because Tuchel obviously did not rate him after he failed to impress and used him sparingly throughout the season and he made a huge mistake saying he wanted to return to Italy when he just signed for Chelsea and said he was unhappy.

I don't feel sorry for him because he was one of Marina's bad decisions while she was club chairman. Tuchel never rated Lukaku, he wanted Halaand but Chelsea gave him Lukaku instead, he knew Lukaku's weaknesses and that's why he never rated him, but at least a player with the right mentality would have stayed and tried to fight instead of giving interviews and criticizing the coach and the club. Werner and Kai Havetz struggled to adapt, but they never gave up and continued to fight and improve in every game.

Chelsea is currently pursuing Raheem Sterling and Ousmane Dembele as top priorities.

You are rightfully putting the club over the player and your allegiance is with Chelsea not with Lukaku.

Chelsea paid an astronomical amount for a player in Lukaku but he effectively failed to live up to his potential while he was at Manchester United. He was not a failure as such because he did well there considering what happened to the club after Ferguson retired but he was by no means a success either.

Again you are right because he gave up on Chelsea too soon and wanted to quit after he could not adapt or fit in to the way Tuchel wanted him to play. He should not have criticised the club or the manager and should never have said he regretted joining Chelsea and regretted leaving Inter Milan and that he was desperate to return there. Based on that I think there was no way he could stay and he had to be sold or loaned out.

Where do you see Chelsea finishing in the Premier League this season?

I hope so too, because Manchester United's previous season is difficult to bring to their asset and the club took a step back instead of a step forward, so changes are definitely needed. On the other hand, there is always a certain risk in the arrival of a new head coach and usually it takes a certain time for the coach to convey his ideas to the players and rebuild the game in the right direction. And it is not a fact that this will happen quickly enough and will not last for a whole season. Therefore, I think that ten Hag will undoubtedly be able to make changes to the team's game, but it is not a fact that this will be enough at least to get into the Champions League.

I strongly believe Manchester United will not have a successful run in any cup competition and will finish outside the champions league places at the end of the season. They have been a shadow of themselves ever since Ferguson retired and though managers come and go there are some managers that cannot be replaced.

While Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool will continue to make progress Manchester United probably fail to make an impact. Even Arsenal and Tottenham are above Manchester United now.

He should not have criticised the club or the manager and should never have said he regretted joining Chelsea and regretted leaving Inter Milan and that he was desperate to return there. Based on that I think there was no way he could stay and he had to be sold or loaned out.
Todd Boehly fired Marina and Bruce Buck for a number of reasons, including the signing of Romelu Lukaku. Todd is a huge Chelsea supporter, just like any of us, and he felt badly about Lukaku's behavior and the deal overall because it was overhyped and we fell for it. Tuchel told the board that he was uncomfortable having Lukaku on the team and that he needed another striker, Marina wanted to force Lukaku to play for Tuchel for another season. Todd stepped in and moved forward with the loan agreement with no obligation to buy, leaving Lukaku in charge. If he performs well, Inter will come for a permanent deal; if not, he will return and maybe get a loan elsewhere.

I didn't want to talk about it until the transfer window closed, but based on our current lineup, we'd be lucky to finish 4th.

Gabriel Jesus to Arsenal is a done deal, he signed until 2027.

Petr Cech will leave Chelsea as position of Technical and Performance Advisor on 30 June. The decision was made by Cech to set aside. The decision he made must be respected. Nevertheless, it is difficult to accept, but it must be done. Are we at the end of the Roman era? The departure of key figures is not a good sign. No new signings have been made, some key players have left, and some are dissatisfied. A monumental success was built on the pillars of those who are leaving now. I am frightened by these instant wholesome changes.

I don't think, Manchester United will miss it next season because their manager has promised their managements to give the team the best performance in next season. I believe, Manchester United new manager know what to do to train potential midfielders that can handle Pogba position and other players in the team. And Cristiano Ronaldo is fully prepared to help Manchester United to do well in next season, because he will like to prove himself by achieving goals from any matches that will lead the team to achieve next season title.

The big problem for Man United is that they're not in the Champions League, which means they may struggle to attract top name players. I do suspect a part of the reason they haven't signed anyone is because they think they're a bigger club than they actually are, and the players they've been going after simply aren't interested. Man U may have to start looking at players who are merely very good, rather than players who are world class.

^  Then again it could also be to their advantage since they're not gonna be having any midweek fixtures flying back and forth across Europe.  They prolly wouldn't really be needing the big name signings much since they'll have an easier schedule this year.  And they've been signing big enough names with a couple of big name managers since SAF left, no bueno.  It's really time to rebuild.

I fancy them to finish top 4 with either the Spurs or Chelsea dropping to 5th.

Maybe it is more appropriate if Man United have to buy players according to the needs of the coaching team. It is true that star players are not a guarantee for team performance. It was evident in the Man United players last season, many players who could not show their best ability, or indeed they felt big and did not respect the coach so that Man United was very bad for several seasons. For next season several players have been released, Ten Hag has made some changes for the players. Hopefully they can return to being a team capable of competing for the title.

Hopefully they can return to being a team capable of competing for the title.
and Erik ten Hag should do it as soon as possible, because Ronaldo is also reportedly increasingly worried about the Manchester United team's transfer strategy because it moves so slowly and so far there is no ideal player for Manchester United.
and Erik ten Hag must also find suitable and talented players up front, especially players who are close to Ronaldo's level and Erik Ten Hag will have to make significant changes to Mancheater United next season.

Frenkie de jong the only big name linked with manchester united .. no world class player other than him that the move could really possible to happen. there is a gossip that neymar might coming while cristiano willing to leave ... bbut it was a cheap source which yeah you can not really take it as a serious one.

The Frenkie de Jong deal does seem like it is likely to happen. Neymar though, I agree with you, no chance that Neymar would go there.

So the problem the new Man United manager has is twofold. He needs to bring in top players, but many top players aren't going to want to go there. The second part is obviously whichever players he does bring in, he has then got to rebuild the team around them and then hope everything gels immediately, so that United start the season on a positive note, by winning games... of course if it takes time for the new players to bed in, and United start badly, it will hit confidence and they could find themselves in a worse spot than they did in the season just gone. But expectations at United are always so high, there may not be much time before the fans start getting restless again.

I strongly believe Manchester United will not have a successful run in any cup competition and will finish outside the champions league places at the end of the season. They have been a shadow of themselves ever since Ferguson retired and though managers come and go there are some managers that cannot be replaced.

I'm not sure why most people here believe Man United will never recover, the post-Ferguson era, nothing is good ... repeating the same mantra.
for example some facts, after Ferguson, they won more trophies than Arsenal and Tottenham. Only Solskjaer and Rangnick did not win a single trophy. even Moyes won Community Shield.

to compete in champions league are indeed a huge consideration for a player that looking for huge achievements.

I guess they learned something from previous seasons. what big names have brought to the team performance? Pogba, Di Maria, Falcao... the new manager must certainly get to know the players better, and only then recognize which type of player he is missing.
All transfer rumours come from newspapers and in 90% of cases, it has nothing to do with reality.

When we talk about "big" names like Neymar or Ronaldo, what do you think, will they prefer to play for Leverkusen, Leipzig, Monaco or Stade Rennais because of Champions League football, or is a more tempting club for them like ManUnited, even without CL?

Petr Cech will leave Chelsea as position of Technical and Performance Advisor on 30 June. The decision was made by Cech to set aside. The decision he made must be respected. Nevertheless, it is difficult to accept, but it must be done. Are we at the end of the Roman era? The departure of key figures is not a good sign. No new signings have been made, some key players have left, and some are dissatisfied. A monumental success was built on the pillars of those who are leaving now. I am frightened by these instant wholesome changes.

Welcome to the Todd Boehly era; he's not messing around; he's demolishing old structures in order to build a real business model. Marina and Bruce have been inconsistent over the years, making decisions without consulting the coach or the players. BTW, Chelsea has agreed a deal with Leeds United for Raphinha in a deal worth around €65 million, and they are already pushing Raheem Sterling's official bid in the coming hours. To be honest, no one saw the Raphinha deal coming, and Todd Boehly is moving faster than expected.

Arsenal has won more trophies (community Shield (4), FA Cup (4), while Manchester United has only won three since Ferguson's departure in 2013 (FA Cup under LVG in 2016 and Mourinho UEFA Europa League and League Cup in 2017 + 1 community Shield with Moyes).

I think that Chelsea had made their interest in Raphinha known for a while now, and if you’ll thought that they were done then think again, because now they have the golden opportunity to sign Neymar and that would be a fantastic signing for them.

Lastly Ten Hag is showing early promises as he’s already changed the time for player’s to arrive, and his desire to bring De Jong could prove to be a master stroke, and in my opinion finishing in top 4 is more important and if he can do that then it’ll be considered a successful season for Manchester United.

The deal between Leeds United and Chelsea for Raphinha is already 98% done; Leeds accepted Chelsea's offer yesterday; now it's up to Chelsea and Raphinha to agree on personal terms; Chelsea offers €8m per year, which is more than what Arsenal and Barcelona are willing to offer; and it's only a matter of time before it becomes official. Raphinha's agent is Chelsea formal player Deco.

Neymar is not a priority right now; after Raphinha, the club will complete Raheem Sterling deal, then focus on De Ligt.

Tottenham seems to me doing very clever transfers and can be considered quite an amount of money but, will probably worth it. Richarlison who is a Brazil national team player can be quite effective. I reckon he is a type of player Tottenham needed and can be a good fit. And he is only 25 years old. These can be his prime years in Tottenham.

There are recent news that a deal for Djed Spence from Middlesbrough can happen soon. For 15 million, I think this is also a good deal. He is a good right-back and can be very beneficial for Hotspurs.

The chairman at Tottenham (Levy) has been known to hold a tight budget and only allow his managers or coaches to spend the cash sparingly. He has made a big decision in buying big in this summer transfer window. They have spent very wisely because Richarlison and Bissouma cost £85 million but they also snapped up Forster and Perisic on free transfers.

If they get the best out of Richarlison they will be a great team to watch. I hope he slots in seamlessly alongside Son and Kane.
