I'd rather see Klopp go for a typical CM as well, and Nunez will still yield a good result it's just a matter of time imo.

Premier league is not really big on giving player time or second chances. You either deliver pretty much immediately or you stay on the bench. Nunez is just lucky that Liverpool attackers are mostly injured and there really isn't a person there that could take his place. If Jota, Diez and Firminho get better and he plays like this, he will get last 10 minutes every other game to show what he can do.

I agree with you totally on this! But fortunately for him, Klopp and Liverpool doesn't have a plethora of choices for the time being, and I really think bar is already evident poor finishing touches, the pressure is already getting to him. He'll surely still get some 2-3 weeks of consistent football to prove himself.

Nunez needs to improve his conversion rate; he has the potential to be a top striker, with abilities similar to Timo Werner, such as dangerous runs, good positioning, getting the ball at the right angle, and high pressing, but he needs good feet to live up to those expectations. I agree that his performance has been hampered by a lack of competition; if there were a big competition, he would finish those chances knowing that there are other good options on the bench.

I guess now you can see why using a chip would have been almost useless still, someone used bench boost chip and all the person got so far is 2-3 points I think, If I wanted to actually wanted to go all out for the chip my move would have been to gone for a team with defenders I'm quite sure would keep a clean sheet, but It still wouldn't have worked out, there are some things you just have no control over regardless of how prepared you are!

you are correct Chips cannot save you if your week is bad; the only meaningful chip I find important is the wirldcard; the rest of the chips are dependent on the player's performance. Is the mini-league still open? If everything goes as planned with my current team, I'll be fighting for a top-five finish in the main league. Is there a prize for the top five?

Looks easy so far with cozy 2:0 lead after first 45 minutes. Too make it even better both my United picks Rashford and Martial did well and got me some points, but again it seems like everyone has them. Really strange week so far, I am doing well with my team and still I am on a red arrow. I guess everybody picked perfectly and even returns from most of my assets aren't enough to climb the rank.

You killed it with Arsenal picks, well done. I decided to go without them because they have though schedule.

He's got better finishing and can play both attacking midfielder and left wing position perfectly as those as he's most recognized position, but if the needs arises I'm very sure he'd play a CF or SS position too perfect, given how incredible his finishing ability his.

It's still a long way to go, so there is still enough time for almost anything to happen, in the pool.

I really don't know but that's up to Trofo and others, but as far as I'm concerned and if it were up to me, I'd accept you because it doesn't make any difference, but you're aware it's a winner take all pool right ?

not so sure about it, haven't look at other squads so far, but took a look yesterday, and it seems that all managers have 5-6-7 common players, that greatly reduce any chance to improve in second half (if I am not wrong, top10 managers have only 21 different players in first 11)

you have to find a perspective player, that others do not have at the moment, and it is really hard to expect to get more than 10-15 per round

with all said, I will try to improve my position, to reach top5 in the end, top2 is already impossible

First you complain about chips and how that is unfair advantage and you decide to not participate. Then you pick your team, change the narrative like chips aren't that important and want to join even after you have the worst score of all participants? If you want to participate I will allow it, just make up your mind already

Template is always strong when we have unlimited transfers. Don't worry it will change during the upcoming weeks. Biggest problem this season is Haaland, in previous seasons you could have had template team and make the difference on captain choices, this season if you don't pick Haaland chances are you are getting even further behind the leaders.

agree on both, template is probably stronger now than in few rounds, and Haaland made it to be play with 10 players without captain, since almost all have him on perma captain position (risky bet to change that, although looking at overall scores, Kane has few points less than him so far)

He's got better finishing and can play both attacking midfielder and left wing position perfectly as those as he's most recognized position, but if the needs arises I'm very sure he'd play a CF or SS position too perfect, given how incredible his finishing ability his.

That's promising, it's difficult to find someone who offers this much at his age, he reminds me of Jota, who is so versatile and can play at any position perfectly, that was so quick from Liverpool knowing that Manchester United approached and had been in contact for more than 3 months, it only took Liverpool 1 week to get it done. Liverpool has one of the best modern bursiness departments in the league, I'm not sure what their fans are complaining about.

Guardiola doing what he does best, I was going to triple down on City ahead of their double GWs, but I knew I can't be sure of any player that would play in both fixtures, I'm definitely going to be shipping out Cancelo very soon, but I can do with having on the bench for the time being hence my move for multiple cheap options of defenders with assured playing, I think Guardiola seemed to have found some great interest in Manuel Akanji and considering his price, maybe he wouldn't be such bad investment, but without attacking returns would it be worth it ?

You beat me to it, haha. I was about to say something similar. There's no way this bald man isn't playing fantasy football; his team must be doing well; it's no longer news to bench any of his players with the most picks. 1M fucking manager had Foden and Cancelo on their team and this dude just lay them off for no reason, I'm sure KDB and Halaand are going less than 5 points each. There are three of my City players on the field, but nothing to be proud of unless Walker drops a masterclass with an assist.

Wilson missing out because of illness with literally zero information in the days prior, was in for a big haul against Leicester.

Lots of managers left Mitrovic out of their squads because of fitness concerns, plus he's on 4 yellows.

Reece injured (don't think he will make my team anytime soon)...again! Everyone getting extra Pepped. Yeah, i think FPL is back...

Already thinking about next week's storylines...it would be peak FPL trolling if Mitrovic (the most transferred in player) blanks and receives a yellow! Lol

That is almost a given but maybe just maybe it will work out for new Mitrović owners since Southampton are really bad and Fulham will score in this one for sure. What is worse many people transferred out Mitrović for Wilson just before the deadline since Mitrović was not sure to start while there was no news for Wilson. By the way if some o fyou have Wilson I have a feeling he will miss next game as well. He has some unknown illness but it got him good.

I am looking forward to surprise on the faces of new Ream owners. People buying him like crazy cause of the big haul and forgetting he is playing for Fulham, one of the worst defenses in PL. If they think he will score more goals, well chances are this was his last goal in career. He is 35 years old and scored 5 goals in his career so far. That gives him an average of one goal roughly every three seasons

I'm the most stupid fpl player among you. I don't know why but I used freehit while making transfers. I lost not only one joker but also my squad was back to its old version. It's going to be really difficult for me to climb to the upper positions from now on. But I don't think of giving up.
