Morocco vs Dr Congo is another game that will going to be a tough game today because, the two teams has squads but there must be a winner from this game which the winner must be Morocco which is my prediction for the game today.
Naturally, I expected Morocco to win based on their past records at various football competitions. Infact in this game they were the first to find the back of their net of their opponents. I am learning in this present competition going on to never underestimate any team and that past victories doesn't equal continual victory, aside the Super Eagles(which I didn't have much hope in and do not expect any superb result from them), other top countries like Ghana, Cameroon, and Even South-Africa stand as proofs of this. I want to see a new champion emerge from the tournament not the regular ones that have won it in the past, I mean brand new champions who has either gotten to the quarter finals and didn't proceed or those who have not even reached any finals once. I want a darkhorse.

Apparently, all the Arabic National teams failed to win their second round games, Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt and Morocco, there’s also some talks about the arbitration and VAR against these teams which are unfair against them. Let’s take for example the game of Algeria against Burkina Faso where the referee refused to go back to VAR for nearly three obvious penalties through out the match. While in the match of Morocco today against D.R. Congo when the referee decided to offer a very unclear and doubtful penalty against Morocco and we obviously didn’t see any hand touch on that action.
However, I expect and predict  an easy access for Algeria to the Round of 16 because of their last match against Mauritania will be easy for them especially that this last ones are officially out of competition so they going to play with their second team without any hopes of qualifying.
On the other hand, Morocco, Tunisia and Egypt should win their last matches to guarantee a safe pass to the round of 16 without any doubts or calculations.

I feel like we do more of criticizing our national team players than we do more of praising the little efforts and wins they have recorded. Although is not unfounded as it is also as a result of their carelessness to perform when they return home, gradually making the countrymen lose much hope in them and have a little. Now, they must also work very hard to perform better in their next fixturing against Guinea Bissau. While we Also celebrate them for their triumph in their previous match.

Personally, I don't have anything against the team only that their performance haven't been much to write home about. I mean, Oshimen have had better performances at Napoli than he has so far in this Afcon. If people are critiquing the team, I don't think it's bad unless the critics is just outright pointless. Even if the club I'm supporting is playing poorly, I'd still call it out whenever possible.

That said, I'm looking forward to the qualification of the Super Eagles tomorrow even if it is at the expense of the host team  Smiley — I don't mind.

Nigerians have a good attacking line bit the midfielder's? No! I ne wishing Nigeria had a midfielder like Kudus who can link up with a good number nine like Victor Oshime.
Osimhen can be criticized, bit who do they expect to support him with creativity and assist in this Nigerian linep? If he gets to score a goal then believe that it was from his own hardwork and individual brilliance in the game. I don't expect too much from him the team included they don't have a good midfied to keep possession and control the tempo of big games.

Patson Daka to help his side Zambia score the level against Tanzania. Right now it's South Africa dominating the game right now with two goals scored in the first half so far.

Lolz South Africa is using Namibia to shine their eyes. South Africa 4- Namibia 0. South Africa is oppressing them in the field and Namibia defence is leaking very serious that whenever ball comes in either they score it or shot it. South Africa has a very good defending. South Africa surprised me I this game and they have a tactical plan that they are using to win the game.

South Africa is one of the strong teams now in the AFCON 2024.

South Africa surprised me I this game and they have a tactical plan that they are using to win the game.

South Africa were smart in using the Penalty to pin down Namibia, it was immediately they scored that penalty they added 2 goals under the space of 45 minuted of first, they play defensive game throughout the remaining matches and Namibia was even finding it difficult to convert their chances, total shots on target compare to South Africa that had 12. I just think that by performance, Namibia aren't upto South Africa in this game and they also need this game to remain in the Afcon because Namibia ready had 3 points.

Quote
South Africa is one of the strong teams now in the AFCON 2024.

They aren't that strong but good winning mentality they possess, if they are that good then Mali wouldn't be there problem at all. Even with this result, they are having similar points with Namibia, I just hope we don't get the football shock if Namibia win Mali, not possible but never say never.

Super Eagles will be facing their last opponent in the current AFCON going on in Ivory Coast and this is a game that will determine if the Eagles will qualify or not with just 4pt and sitting at 2nd position which is not too comfortable at the moment with the host at 3rd place to face the group leaders Equatorial Guinea.
The Super Eagles have no excuse to give if they don't win this game against Guinea Bissau because they (Guinea Bissau) are the weakest nation in that group and every other teams who play against them are sure of securing all 3pt.
For the host nation I don't see them going into this encounter against Equatorial Guinea as one easy game, it would be a do or die affair, they host nation need a win and nothing less than that, same goes to the Super Eagles, because as it stands Ivory Coast and Nigeria are the favorite to win that group or qualify from that group but now they (Ivory Coast and Nigeria) find themselves in a complicated situation.
Who are coming out from this group?

The Super eagles of Nigeria will have to put in their best to ensure they get the results today and for me winning should not be difficult for them as we know their opponent is not a strong one. Guinea Bissau have not won any of their games and even if they manage to upset the Eagles, it won't change anything so Nigeria should capitalize on this and press them. What I've observed in this tournament is that as a stronger side, if you continue poaching at the defense of the opponents, you'd get results but if you underrate them and become relaxed, you'd be in for a shocker. And I'm hoping Nigeria will not take things lightly as this game is a decider if they will make it to the next round.

They know what's at stake and should strive hard to win the game today. If not for that one goal to nothin win during the last game, Nigeria would be hoping for one team to lose or win, with a win here, finishing at the top of the table is sure for them.
Victor Oshime had also said and vouched for them to win the game today to impress them fellow Nigerians and fans across the world.

I got to see South Africa scoring three good goals in the first half yesterday. The penalty was well awarded since it was clear evidence from the reviews of the VAR. The match officials in the African Cup of Nations Competitions are all doing a good job they have been nothing but excellent results all round this tournament.

Super Eagles really have to push harder to win the match because still their qualifying is partial because any thing can happen, Ivory Coast that are the host have only 3 points and I am suspecting that they may be given advantage to win todays match against Equatorial Guinea, Equatorial Guinea are also very strong in this group, they played their last two matches excellently that they deserve to come out first in the table. Now Super Eagles v Guinea Bissau, actually Super Eagles should find winnings easy on this match but with ultimate performance because even Guinea Bissau will not want to lose despite they are going home, I have filling that they will put more effort in their game today just to disqualify the Super Eagles. I think Super Eagles have two options either winning or draw but winning is better.

Many changes to the Nigerian team from the coach in players, but not with the formation from the last game, Lookman benched, and I pray is not a decision he regrets because Lookman was very good in out last game against Ivory Coast. Simon and Chukwueze starts and I worry because they are very selfish players who do not like to pass the ball. This game has to be won by Nigeria and everyone has to play as a team so they can join the other teams that have qualified for the next stage in this competition. Guinea-Bissua Coach also made changes, changing almost the players from their last game were they lost. They need to win this game too, and they will not hesitate to score if they have the chance to.

The Super Eagle game has started and am not yet satisfied with the performance of Nigeria because it is either a draw or a lucky win we have been the giant not only in economy but also in football and like you said they don't have an excuse to lose this game. Nigeria is just like Arsenal you can not depend on them and since the game is just starting if Nigeria should win I will be happy and they will qualify. and if Nigeria does not get serious they won't win anything when did Nigeria even win anything last? and both the host and Nigeria will do everything possible. and one lovely thing about Bitcoin is that the game is always important for the two. and Nigeria was able to defeat the host nation so let's see if Nigeria will be able to defeat Guinea Bissau and Nigeria might win because Guinea Bissau performance is also poor. so according to the previous games Nigeria must win and if they dont win they Nigeria wont go far in this AFCON.

Let's hope and pray the Super Eagles win because it's the last match of their group stages and with four points from two matches, Guinea Bissau has got nothing to loose but try to upset the Eagles from claiming all three points.
I like Omerua in defense and am rooting for Osimhen to score goals and if possible try to pay less attention to the selfish play from Chukweze incase it gets to him again.

They ought to have scored goals by now and take control of the game. I don't know but they should be careful before they get any unfavorable score line that will be detrimental to them.

I love the formation that the Super eagles coach brought in this match. By introducing Simon Mosses in the left flank brought more pressure to the Equatorial Guinea side. As against what many people thought that Chukwueze will be selfish, he instead contributed more than what he did last match. Again, the idea of playing Aribo is a good one. The presence of Aribo in the midfield appeared more natural than when Iwobi is in the midfield. Today, the Nigerian players have controlled the ball more than they did in the last match. Although, it is only the first half as we do not actually know what the second half has for us. I also confess that I love the courage of the super eagles coach who didn't sit throughout the match. His body language shows that he needs winning.

Most times we talk as if the opposition team does not exist. There are 11 players in both teams and they all have a coach and they have their strategies. It is not fine that Nigerian fans will want to win everything as if their opponents does not exist. It is high time we understood that this is football and allow the footballers to play. We are so quick to find issues and blame the players and the coach for not doing their best. Also remember that the host Ivory coast is on the way of not qualifying from the group match, so praise your boys.

I disagree with your assertion in it's entirety, of course in the game of football, there are decisions a referee will try take that will not be favourable with the team your supporting, but coming out to say is an onslaught against the Arabic nation, then that's a fallacy that shouldn't be be associated in the AFCON competition currently on going, because if you continue with this narrative, you will be causing a bad blood amongst African nations. I remember some years back, when Egypt where winning the AFCON regularly, no African nation mentioned that Egyptians where encapsulating the entire African glory to themselves. The arbitration and VAR are not against anybody, just play your fair play and win your game simply.

The game still not ended, yet they have a second half to play to improve their performance, but from my perspective, the super eagle performance in this game is still fair, and now they are leading with 0-1 to nothing in the first half and now still retain the second spot in their group table with 7 points should the game end this way, I love the way with which they handled their opponent team Guinea-Bissau this first half, What I think they should do come second half is to add more force in their attacking, and try to play defensively in order not to conceive a goal.

Nigeria Super Eagle is currently leading by a lone goal courtesy of an own goal by Sangante of Guinea Bissau, truly the match hasn't live up to expectations especially the way Super Eagle played there are passing the ball rather played long passes while the Guinea Bissa played more possessive ball though the Super Eagle almost played new set of team with few of their key players rested, meanwhile the other match Ivory coast is losing 0-1 to Equitorian Guinea that result had put the host country in a precarious position though still at half hopefully they can turn things around in the second half.

Sagante gave Nigeria the lead due to poor defense from his side on the 37th minutes of the game. Nigeria is in dominance of the match, and they are also winning possession, but they find it hard to make use of the chances that they had in the first half. I just hope that they will be able to score a clean goal in the second half to seal up their victory. If not for the defensive error of Sangante, the match would have been a goalless first half. However, I will say that Nigeria is lucky in this match to be on the lead. The second half has just begun and let's the outcome of it.

The super eagles game is ongoing now and the Nigerian team are playing a boring draw with Guinea Bissau. I don't know why the Nigerian team always put itself in a complicated situation. They ought to have scored goals by now and take control of the game. I don't know but they should be careful before they get any unfavorable score line that will be detrimental to them.
The match is not an easy match for them, Guinea Bissau is trying to win at least one match so as not to go home without a single point, while Nigeria is also tying to get their knockout stage ticket against them that is why the match is tough, but the attacking pressure from the Super Eagles has caused an own goal, now Nigeria lead by one goal at half time.

The most intriguing match of group A is the match between Equatorial Guinea and the host Ivory Coast.
Ivory Coast need to win this match to qualify to the next round, and they are now losing ; I think they need to play well because they are controlling the game and can change the game in the second hal.
