Despite not scoring a lot of goals for the Super Eagles, Victor Osimhen have been very instrumental to his teams success so far in the competition as he was the one that scored the only goal in their first game of the tournament against Equatorial Guinea as well as the person that was fouled for the Super Eagles to be awarded a penalty against host nation Ivory Coast which Williams Troost-Ekong converted to give the Super Eagles their first win in the tournament.

Tonight against Cameroon, I'm also banking on Victor Osimhen to be the reason why the Super Eagles will beat their opponents and progress to the last eight of the tournament.

They're playing a beautiful football a better one that never expected truthfully. Imagine with one man down and yet they're keeping good ball possession and at the the same time winning the game with two goals to nothing in the first half of the game. They're at the same time defending and putting in lots of work and togetherness.
That last goal scored and the scorer did magic honestly for that goal. The player has a very beautiful technique as he successfully curled that ball into goal.

For Nigeria, I've seen the selection, I just hope the midfielder's are good and ready for the challenges tonight. Having Simon Moses and Lookman on the wings with creativity makes lots of sense.

Correction. People are criticizing Victor Osimhen as a striker. This is not the first time Victor Osimhen has played with this team. You have to remember that he’s the star player of the team and if he’s not doing so well, it is expected that the media and the fans will criticize his performance. The Super Eagles strategy is built around Victor Osimhen, everytime they hold the ball, they are always looking for Victor Osimhen. The players are not adventurous and are not taking chances for themselves.

Angola win this match is not a surprise to me because we can compare Angola and Namibia, Angola finished group stage in first place while Namibia was among the best third, I see this match as bonus for Angola, winning 3-0 is a good start for them and again they are the first to move to the next step. Immediately Angola got the red card I thought that will affect their strength but unfortunately they prove me wrong and surprised me with their performance which is incredible.

There may be other factors as to why they were sacked but amongst those sacked are Chris Hughton of Ghana, Tom Saintfiet of Gambia and Djamel Belmadi of Algeria. You're right but this time around I believe the Super Eagles will change that much defensive style of play, we have guys who can run through defense and get goals even provide the attackers with balls inside the box.
Cameroon are some how going to be stubborn in this encounter but the Super Eagles will surprise them with a different pattern of play and I feel this is the game the Super Eagles will get more than 1 goal in this tournament, I predict this game to end 3-1 in favor of the Eagles.

The defensive style of football has been a regular thing for the super Eagles , it's been their style of play for most of their appearance, changing such mentality that has been in them for years even the former super eagles squads had similar characteristics so changing at this time wouldn't be something they will do just at once but they may take some time. The Cameroonian ain't any better as compared to the super eagles but  they may want to perform more than their regular performance since they know how critical the stage they are now.

I'm hoping the eagles add some improvement to their creativity and striking force while still strengthening their defense because I still don't trust their keeper well enough, he hasn't had any spectacular performance since his AFCOn appearance.

I’m excited but I also know Cameroon has come from behind in several games so that means they know how to fight back. This is the time we need to take our chances and convert them to goals.
