I think the problem with the Super Eagles is that we have too many coaches in Nigeria. Every citizen is a self appointed coach and gives their own opinions on how the team should play. Victor Osimhen has been under heavy criticism from fans, fortunately he gave an incredible assist to Lookman who easily found the back of the net. I hope those who have been doubting him are watching the game. If the Super Eagles win this match today, I expect there will be a lot more interest from Nigerians in the tournament.

At this point do we still have to follow public opinions?

The public will talk and whale for whatever happens that is humans for you, you will see a fan/citizens analysing football matches while the game is live and pointing out all the errors, no wonder one of my old timer friends use to tell me that football is the only game, that the spectator is always the master of the game, because there know all the nukes and crany of the game but there are not on the pitch.

So the citizens are most on the neck of the super because they have lost trust in the team, and the team have once again done the usual by playing the first half of tonight game with a 1 goal against Cameroonians team, but let see how thw second half pf the game will go because that is the online time to prove Nigerians wrong this time.

The match between Nigeria and Cameroon is a tough match for the season right now but nobody knows what Nigeria they performance will be tonight so I believe that Nigeria may draw the match or Cameroon mighty win the match so therefore this match is not something somebody can predict fully that Nigeria will defeat Cameroon because Nigerian team players the way they are participating in this season their victory is based on luck is not based on their performance so I want us to predict before the match will kick off if Nigeria is going to win the match or Cameroon will be the one to defeat Nigerian

Nigeria's performance this season is actually unpredictable, but I have hope for them to win the game. Although I know that Cameroon's performance is good, what I have already discovered so far in today’s game is that the Cameroon goalkeeper is not that good, which is a golden opportunity for Nigeria to use it and get the match. So I fully believe that Nigeria will make us happy in today’s game and win the game.

Although sometimes too much believing tends to disgrace you, I can’t conclude since the game is just 1-0. Although a goal was cancelled, nevertheless, more goals will keep entering the Cameroon net. We are just in halftime. I will say the game belongs to Nigeria today, so my winnings also go to Nigeria. Nothing like going to a draw with Cameroon. I have already seen them victorious today, and we will still watch and see the final results.

Cameroon are the better side when it comes to the midfield play. But they have not being able to do any real damage. Their attack have been weak, kudus to the Nigerian defense. Nigeria has done a great job in the first 45 minutes. I expect a more feisty game in the second half. I wouldn’t mind if the manager switches to a full defense and try to not concede a goal.

The Eagles are really doing great in the first half of this encounter, they need more fire power to get more goals because I don't see the Cameroonians doing anything against the defense of the Eagles to get a goal.
Another problem of the Super Eagles is the wingers, they're making V. Osimhen over work himself and I have no idea what Simon Moses is still doing on the pitch, the player has to go off the pitch and the coach of the Eagles need to bring in someone who's suppose to feed V. Osimhen with the ball if not the player will lose the strength to hustle for the ball and he needs to score at least a goal in this game.

So far, Super Eagles has shown no disappointments from the first half of the game. The only player on the pitch but nowhere to be seen is Simon Moses and and he should be substituted.

I'm thinking about switching up to two man attack with Victor Oshime seen as the main target in the first half, the should bring in a player who will be there to run in the number nine or central forward position as Victor Oshime remains the target, it could be a good means to double tue lead

The defenders are doing excellent, Trust Ekong and Calvin Bassey and Ola Aina. Props to Alexander Iwobi in this game. Laddie making me smile!!

Nigeria vs Cameroon, this match will definitely be the tough one because the teams are base on the same performance which is the reason I said it going to be tough the both teams manage to finished in second in the table just the Nigeria have more points than cameroon.

Interestingly, I just checked the lineups for the Nigeria - Cameroon match, and has speculated, André Onana is in the starting eleven. It seems the coach doesn’t have faith in the Manchester United goalkeeper who was a sensation in Ajax before coming to the premier league last season. The Cameroonians seem to think André Onana will cost them the game tonight and chose to bench him. This is a classic “no player is bigger than the club” moment for Cameroon.

The first half has begin and Ajayi has opened it with a goal for Nigeria in 9 minutes but later the goal was rules out after the VAR review but still the game is going just that Cameroon are dominating the ball possession 63%, this allowing the goal will even make Cameroon strong because early goal like that make a team weak because the winner will like to be strict with their own and try to defence very well, they have equal chances created, let just wait an see the end of the game because is difficult to predict right now.

referees officiating in tonight's game is really poor and I expect the referees to be more careful in their officiation in the second half, repeated replays shows that the goal scored by Nigeria Ajayi that was ruled out as offside by the referee wasn't actually an offside but unfortunately the referees has made their decision and there's no returning back. so far the officiating in this AFCON has been superb but tonight's Nigeria vs Cameroon game that offside decision is questionable.

Nigeria has been up to speed in this game, troubling the Cameroon side so hard with some impressive passes but they need to make good use of their chances to get the goals coming in in their favour. Any of the two teams that will get the first goal in this game is definitely going to win the match and I believe that team  would be Nigeria.

Finally Nigeria has scored a fantastic goal. The goal was scored by Lookman on the 36th minutes , after he received a good pass from Osimhen, who struggled to make sure that he delivered the pass even when he was been held by the last Cameroon defender that made a mistake in trapping the ball. Nigeria players are now putting pressure on Cameroon and I think that they might be able to score more goals in match. One thing that I see about Nigeria is their defensive pattern, they keep stopping all Cameroon moves from passing through them.

Since Nigeria are mostly good in their defense than forward, I just hope Nigeria defends this goal not allowing them end in a draw or winning. Very sad for me not watching the match but I pray we take victory on this one and move to the next round. We are the giant of Africa and this is one opportunity to claim the title.

Nigeria has been fantastic in the first half despite not having the ball possession much than their opponent cameron who have the higher possession but with nothing of a good result to show off. Rightly said, Nigeria defence has been great throughout this competition as they have not conceded much goals and even the forward has been up to their responsibility which has earned them a leading goal in this game against the Central African side Cameron. The only weakness in the Nigeria team is their midfield a lot is lacking but so far the whole team has been able to play as a team with good communication from the defense to the midfield up to the forward (strikers).

Cameron don't seem to be awake in this second half they are still lacking in energy to play as a team that is hunger for goals to either get an equalizer or win this game rather Nigerian boys are all over them pressing for a second goal. Should this game end in favour of Nigeria they will be meeting Angola in their next game and that's going to be a much tougher game for Nigeria as Angola is one of the best team in this AFCON competition.

The super eagles coach need to be very proactive in this game. He has to remove the Simon Moses as he is not playing very well in this game. I trust the defense of the super eagles, they won't mess things up. I am looking forward to see Victor Osimhen score goal in this game, as I am not too comfortable with the current score line. Anything can happen at any moment, so the super eagles has to score a security goal.

Cameron Mield's field is good but I don't think it will be easy for them to score because they do not even have any shot on target and till the match finishes they will not be able to score Nigeria and if an attack is weak because for about 80 minutes not even any shot on target and am surprise and Nigeria as been doing a great job at the moment and I was not expecting Nigeria do perform this well. and Nigeria will try to defend well so as not to lose this gaming since they are already leading to one. since they were unable to score we all know who is going to win.

Osimhen have never been a bad striker for the Nigerian national team, just that Nigerian pattern of play is totally different from Napolian style of play, in that Napoli team, the midfielder makes it easier for the attacker, but in the Nigerian color that's never the case.

Secondly, in as much as Nigeria vs Cameroon will always be a fascinating encounter, the Nigerian team need to step up and work on their attack, since their defense is well able to do, if they must qualify to the next round.

Well Nigeria style of play is well different frm that of Napoli and that’s one major reason why the African Best Player haven’t reached his full potential as he ought to yet in this tournament. He needs a creative midfielder who’ll be able feed him with a nice pass and that’s what he’s lacking in the Nigerian colour. That aside he still tries his best to find the back of the net.

 For the match against Cameroon, yes putting more focus on the Super Eagles attack will be a big boost for them and help them get the win. Well I think the defense is well to do, but just defending won’t win you the match. So I think Nigeria will need a creative counter attack to be able to eliminate this Cameroon side because they seem shaky on the defense and it’s evidently clear.

This is a much improved Super Eagles, different from what we have seen from the start of the tournament. My man of the match is A. Lookman, he was fantastic in the game tonight. Also Victor Osimhen was a standout player and played a key role in helping us win the game. Congratulations to Nigeria, tonight we played against two sides, Ghana and Cameroon and we scored one goal for each of them.

Congratulations to all Nigerians, a spot in the quarter finals has been secured. For the remainder of today, instead of that wishing or worrying about the Angola win in the next few days, I'd rather celebrate this win. Today's performance is commendable and I'm sure everyone would agree with me that Nigeria's gameplay has improved today even though some areas are still lacking but I'd take the win.

Kudos to players like Bassey, Oshimen, Ekong, Lookman (who gave his best afcon 2023 performance btw), and the remainder of the team.

Will I say that the Super Eagles were hiding their game plan for the knockout stage, because this was an impressive and outstanding performance compared to all their previous performances. I was surprised, and happy that they know the right time to win their matches.

It was like a shock for the Cameroon players as they could not resist the pressure and they gave up on the 90mins, allowing the star player Lookman to find the back of the net the second time. He scored in the first a d second half. The Super Eagles of Nigeria has qualified to the next round of the tournament, and I hope to see them put in a brilliant performance, so that they can keep flying higher

Truly the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon were solid in the midfield but poor attack imagine they couldn't play a single shot on goal throughout the 90 minutes even with the introduction of Aboubakar no impact he never threaten, however I give kudos to the Super Eagle defence who caged the Cameroonians attackers and were very solid at the back while Victor Osimhen the Nigerian striker charged their opponent defence offront he couldn't give them any room to move in to support their midfielders, it's a good game overall the Nigerian team.were tactically sound played with a lot of confidence and consequently got rewarded with two beautiful goals and a well deserve win.

All the players perform very well is just that they are tired, that is why I am very impressed with my Nigerian players, I don't expect them to play very well against Cameroon, I think if Nigerian can continue playing well, they can win the Afcon this time, Osimhen is a very talented player, he is helping the country to improve very well, he is the one who is strengthening the defense and making them lose controls, now Nigerian has qualified to the quarterfinals, let's see who Nigerian will Nigeria lacks good midfielders, which is why our strikers struggle to generate chances. Without Oshime, I do not believe Nigeria can reach the round of 16 and still qualify to quarter finals am very happy that my country are still on the competition and I wish we will win the trophy.

Man was scared ASF immediately Vincent Aboubakar was brought into the game for Cameroon. It's by far one of the best games they've played in this Competition. I can mention few names and leave the rest, the entire squad worked hard for the results and they've earned it the right way. I'm impressed with em but more focus to the next. For now, they party, relax, recover and wait fir the next fixture.

It was indeed a great night to Look at the man that gave us them goals ( Ademola Lookman ) as he brilliantly makde good runs into the pass from Calvin Bassey.

The super eagles played a nice ball against Cameroon today, they were able to score two goals in the match. Since the beginning of the tournament, today's match is the first match in which Nigeria will score two goals. The super eagles played a calm game against Cameroon. Lookman's performance was very nice today, he was able to score two goals, which gave Nigeria victory in the match. Nigeria have successfully qualified for the quarterfinals of the African Cup of Nations. Let's hope the super eagles will be able to win the cup for Nigeria this year.

I must say I was impressed with the Super Eagles performances today as I took out my time to stream the match live. They really tried, not like before, where their main focus was on defence and they were finding it difficult to score against their opponents.
 
This time was different; it was as if they were just waiting for this opportunity, like they just had to win by all means, and their energy was never in vain, and they won victoriously. I wish they could keep up this energy till the end of the AFCON, and maybe we could be able to see ourselves in the finals this season.
