I hope Fluffy gets to answer lots and lots of these concerns on his European Tour. I think once savvy investors get grounded in facts and future concerns about privacy and security, we'll see a spike in interest. With the amount of time and commitment the Devs (and this community) has spent on getting the details right, it would be nice for the larger community to see that the concerns and solutions are validated.

...

just sell now and buy moar xmr cheaper  Cheesy

Of course there were those who sold at 0.0011 hoping to buy moar at 0.0008 and the market bottomed out 0.00091.

Concerned that blockchain bloat will lead to centralization? Storing less than 4 GB of data once required the budget of a superpower and a warehouse full of punched cards. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/87/IBM_card_storage.NARA.jpg https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punched_card

Indeed but those with half a braincell then bought back on the 'announcement'

Yep, sell all you can!  50 cents is a pretty good buy, for me.  But it takes sellers
and of course, there are fewer mined every day.  This trend I expect to continue  Tongue

Why you would quote me being correct is just weird.

Time is flying...

Anybody well versed with TA could give a TA opinion on current situation? Aren't we breaking a downtrend as we speak?

Monero's privacy and therefore fungibility are MUCH stronger than Bitcoin's.
This makes Monero a better candidate to deserve the term "digital cash".

Nope.

Could you eleborate on why to use log scale instead of linear scale? I am always contemplating on this when drawing trend lines etc.

Privacy matters, use Monero - A true untraceable cryptocurrency

Keep hoping. The recent rise in Bitcoin coming on the heels of the 700,000 USD fine to Ripple should be a warning to any Monero bear. Let us say that if newly minted coins go anywhere but to a miner, the coin itself is very likely on FinCEN's crosshairs.

I admit, the currency is far more resilient, than I gave it credit for, I sold them prematurely last november.

Instinctively most of us already knew that was coming, part of the reason I stayed miles away from IPO/premined/etc coins.

POW ftw. Fair launch ftw. Monero ftw.
