I tried to warn people about the coming dump but I was ridiculed here.  Undecided

And I am afraid we have not touched the bottom yet... I am expecting a bloodbath and obviously the short sellers will celebrate...

Thats not true, I too expected that to happen and acted accordingly.
Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

I smell a room filled with Greater Fools.

I smell a wolong alt getting ready for a XMR summer pump

lol how does it feel to have bought monero at 230+ when it hit 167 so far today.  I told you it was coming down.

Pegasus how much money are you down in the last 3 days? The timing of your arrival with this substantial price drop is no coincidence.

I tried to tell you guys Pegasus is bad for Monero.

I agree.
It is not good for the coin to have pumpers right before the dump.
I tried to warn people about the coming dump but I was ridiculed here.  Undecided

Warning is like a selfulfilling prophecy... if it happens you can always say I TOLD YOU SO ... if it doesn´t happen no one bats an eye or gives a shit.

I acknowledge you also.
The smart ones are pretty few. The majority is the flock of sheep that are led by the pumpers to buy the hype. They are doomed to lose money.

Frankly I'm amazed nobody has deleted my comments yet since they aren't in lockstep with the agenda.

If letting you sound off like a bitter troll isn't part of the agenda, it should be; Monero haters usually clue smart people into how dumb Monero's critics are.

Me too appreciate the politics here in XMR forum.
It is something I admire that they do not delete my comments neither despite I am not always kissing the asses here.  Smiley

I try to be as truthful as I can.
I act always what I preach. If I see the price is going up, I will tell others it will go up (obviously I have positioned myself accordingly) and if I am seeing it will go down, I am selling and usually after I have sold I tell this also others... I try to be as transparent as possible.

However, now I have a little bit Moneros which I am attempting to lend out and also I have some bitcoins that I mostly have been successfully lending out to the people who are "long term believers and bagholders".

Usually I am hated by the trolls here.

Hello TrueCryptonaire. I've been watching this thread in the shadows and I must say you are one of the few truthers. I'm outraged at the amount of respectable members that are acting like cheerleaders. At night, I sometimes wonder if they are trying to scam us on purpose. Another possibility is that they are too enthousiastic. I have to admit the technology is sound. I've to admit that we need it. But we also need not to lose our shirts ! Right now, I think its the day of doom for Monero, hence my username.

From this day, I'll make a duty of mine to read your post each day during my morning coffee. I'll avoid the overbullish crowd as much as I avoid reading TWJ.

Again, I thank you for your work. I hope you would post more and cheerleaders would post less.

PS: please do tell us when you have rebought.

lol the trolls are out again.
would call it a black Thursday. buy side completely destroyed, only 124 btc on the books at the moment. still, volume was about right until now. but if the orderbooks stays the same..aiaiai. based on past experience it takes days to restore the buy side if it took a hit like this.
what an unecessary pain. maybe it was necessary...?

but i hodl anyway.

try to catch the price when i buy Cool

Exactly. As long as you are talking about price action, positive or negative, or medium- to long-term prospects for the valuation, and has even some morsel of reasoning ("Monero sucks, Monero is a scam, Monero to the moon, etc." doesn't cut it), it stays.

There are probably going to be less on both sides because people pulled a lot of coins off Polo, both XMR and BTC. Maybe in some cases they create new accounts and put them back, maybe they don't.

Some of the orders will now be margin/shorts in their place.

So expect greater volatility for both reasons, at least for a while.

Just for fun I took a long position at around 210 with a miniscule amount of monero. Woke up this morning to find it liquidated. Fuck margin trading.

This is a a very different market now with the advent of margin trading. One has to ask, for example, how much of the recent selling was actually short?

Concerned that blockchain bloat will lead to centralization? Storing less than 4 GB of data once required the budget of a superpower and a warehouse full of punched cards. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/87/IBM_card_storage.NARA.jpg https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Punched_card

Sorry if this is off-topic but I'm genuinely concerned for nutildah's well-being. I'm sorry to hear about your situation man.

Perhaps we could all throw in some XMR to help the guy out?

Actually I turned down an offer for free XMR the other day. I would just sell them for BTC immediately, anyway. If you actually want to help, my BTC address is on my profile page. If you're going to pay 8 cents to call me an asshat, well, you can just keep it...

Its better if I don't have too much money, then I'd have to pay back my student loan! Nice research though. I'm delighted that you spent time going through my post history.

nutildah, the richest bitcoiners are those who acquired during the bottoms and the tops.

I will continue to acquire Monero and get excited about it, while you continue to smell like moldy chicken in your little hovel apartment.

Yes, the price is down.  But Monero is still Monero.  Nothing has changed.  If you get all pissy about these little price changes, I can't imagine what *you* (the account holder, not this shitty alt) will do once the real fireworks start next year.

This is the year to slowly build up a position in Monero, at any price.  Don't worry about what you pay.  Just acquire and keep acquiring.  We are very, very early to the party.  An idiot starts wondering what other parties are like.  A smart man finds a good table and gets comfortable.

Account is back under control of the real AmericanPegasus.

Probably not as much as people would like to believe, we're still in the same retracement channel from 3 weeks ago when I said there's going to be a potential long term buy opportunity in 3 weeks.

I'm fairly certain we're in that range now, because MACD is crossing over.

Gonna go bump my reddit post for spite.

Then celebrate tomorrow when I get to put up a buy order. Hope I didn't miss all the fun.
