@mrkavasaki Even kuriso is here, who was fully sure Monero will be worth 1 cent till last Christmas LOL Is not funny is a reality. He posted that on 18th September 2014, at the time when there are made 20 new threads on this forum daily just so forum members would think that there are so many Monero shills doing it. Then they were fighting for and against in those threads with their alts. Just noticed, mrkavasaki was there also ofcourse very pessimistic.

seems like desperate act by dash scammers and he just made himself a laughing joke since support rebounded to 0.0024 levels.. i just hope they get even more desperate and hand me more cheap coins... just when i thought i'd never see 0.0025 coins... Ouch, not a good day for XMR. Looks like ethics aren't really that important to people after all. Instamines are in, fair and equitable emission is out.
Oh the irony, that it was the dump of Otoh... kind of funny seems like he sold just in time and made you a laughing joke for buying them

If you don't hear from someone else contact David Latapie. He does a lot of OTC trades but doesn't read the four that much.

@mrkavasaki When price will come to 0.001 , you will buy or you will sell the rest that you will have left from selling all few days ago? I see old group of Monero FUDers returned to Forum. Even kuriso is here, who was fully sure Monero will be worth 1 cent till last Christmas I'm just going to point out the obvious to new-comers and people without a clue. What often happens is the same person or group of people control several accounts. These accounts are can quickly change sentiment towards Monero (just like truecryptionaire, or kavasaki or whomever) and then there are accounts that never changes sentiment for the sake of continuity, but only write a lot on the forum when it is "needed". So when the need for sentiment to go bear, the bear accounts are brought out, and when bull sentiment is needed, the bull accounts are brought out. That doesn't mean one should see ghosts everywhere though.

Not really implying anything by this. The smash down below 0.002 has made me permanently cynical i think. But i just wanted to point out that the chart is now forming a reverse head and shoulders pattern. You decide if that means anything.

I don't get why people are surprised? It looks like a natural swing and is acting just as I predicted. Still not sure where the floor will be for the next opportunity though.

To all the people leaving, I have to wonder, why were you here to begin with?
I'm here because I am in need a means of sending value over long distances quickly, cheaply, and privately as well as a means of storing value privately. Maybe i will leave monero when some better alternative exists for accomplishing these same ends but until such an alternative exists i will continue to need monero. Just as a person who has nails sticking up needs a hammer.
So the question: What I just described is what this project represents, and you sold. So did you used to need that value proposition but dont any longer? Or some other project you have discovered has a similar value proposition? Or does monero no longer represent that value proposition to you? Or did you never need it and just wanted to make a quick buck by gambling?
I can explain that somewhat. These coins have almost no current utility so everyone buying them is doing one of two things: 1. Long term speculation on future utility, 2. Short term speculation on swings. Both tend to be trend-followers, though the latter more so. When we came up from 0.0009 to about 0.0015 or 0.002, it was quite striking how many new people started posting their interest and support both here and on the main thread. I think I made comment at the time that those were likely to be fair-weather friends, and I don't mean that as an insult, just an observation about time horizon and attention span. Those same folks are likely off getting interested in whatever is hot right now. When we start an uptrend again, they'll back, or others like them.

On what time frame because the daily is showing a clear break of the neckline on a regular H&S pattern.

I guess im speculating on future utility if you want to be technical about it but I need something like monero because the chances are very good that i will need something like monero in the future. If I ever actually manage to become wealthy I will be so fucked. The government will take so much of it. They take a lot now but its not just about how much they take now its about the trend. If the trend holds, people justify it now, but it will be almost incontrovertibly criminal in the future if the trend holds and we have to prepare for the future. Monero offers some amount of protection from this. What else does? People should be clamoring to this project just for self defense reasons. I dont mean to say monero specifically, just something that offers the same value proposition. It could be zerocoin or some other cryptonote or something no one has imagined. But right now monero is the frontrunner.

This says it all. Sure, I've got some PMs and various other preparations as well, but the farther we go, the worse it gets. I've even come around to the thought that that old stand by, Land, is not going to be able to preserve or provide wealth in the not too distant future. Privacy is required. I'm open to other ideas, but at this time, I don't see a better proposition than Monero.

do it otoh, do it...dump everything you raging whale so a lot of people have a good entry point he already did, he cant dump what he doesnt have Let me see if I have this right. Otoh is still hiding his xmr balance in screen shot supposedly showing a trade history after he sold all his xmr. Yes, congats, you have that right, I choose to not screen shot my XMR balance, I wouldn't obsess about it if I was you, fact being that I sold 36,455 XMR = 82 BTC worth three days ago, I guess that I could buy 40,000 or more back now but I'd rather leave this whole toxicity behind tbh so won't bother most likely. Maybe I still have a few 100k moneros that need dumping more stealthfully, I don't though thank goodness, but if I did that's only my business. As I no longer have any interest in this coin and the posters here ( see below ) I don't plan to follow this thread any more, so bye he may have a few more...so i am encouraging him to dump it all.

I don't know if a 40K market sell was orchestrated or not but many other coins in Polo happened to do just the same (ie: Market buy in VRC got my play money order sold in a jiffy). I believe the resistance at these levels won't let us go further down. As I've previously mentioned I think that's a nice price to accumulate more. That's why I bought. On the other hand I don't see a drop in the hash rate (at least the one reported in Minergate where I'm mining) which I expected as the price went down (we had similar paradigms in other altcoins in the past). But, I don't know if this number is accurate so don't take my word for it.
