Kyrie Irving will always be a valuable asset to any given team that's why there's still teams out there who would want to acquire him but upon acquiring him, they also have to deal with Irving's selfishness and he's thinking that he's that really entitled because of what he can bring to the team.

CP3 and KD in the same jersey is really an interesting to thing to see and lot's of fans are surely want to see it but yes, that will be an expensive acquisition for the Suns and I don't think they can afford to trade their current roster.
I think Kyrie hasn't been a net positive for any team he has played since Cavs days. He was in Boston for so many years and he was never really liked there, look at Boston without him right now and how much better they are doing right now. Nets was a short stint so far because of injuries, but I believe that they paid him a good amount of money to make sure that he brings his A game and he failed that too.

All in all, he was last great with Cavs, and ever since then I see him as a Westbrook kind of player who left his comfortable place and destroyed his all career. Kyrie could stay in Nets, but if he leaves he will still be doing the same thing as he is doing in Nets, which is being overvalued for what he brings.
That's because of his ego, after he left the Cleveland Cavaliers, Kyrie Irving has been looking at himself to be an entitled player that's why he grew selfish because he knows that he can always produce good numbers if he can play and his existence will be an asset to any team. He's been on the Celtics but the team's roster only grew impressively when he left the team and now he's bringing a havoc in the Nets.

The truth is I don't see that Butler has enough level to make a fight against Inoue, the other thing is if Inoue accepts it, we all know very well Inoue's style, if Inoue in that case accepts the fight and if he wins Once with a knockout, Butler's reputation will be very low, how could he get it back? The truth is that Butler is good for me, but he needs more preparation. Instead, I would look for fights with less complicated rivals who seem more likely to win, and not leave once and for all because of a big man like Inoue. Butler must reap more wins to that the fans ask for more fights, and the business model is there in having more fights equals more money.

Looking at statistics of Butler with 34-2-0 winnig 15 fight via KO making it a 44% of his fight won via knockout.

Buttler is currently holding the WBO title so I think Inoue will seek a fight with him to be the undisputed champion.  That said, I do think that Inoue has the upper hand if ever these two fighters meet. Inoue holding a record of 23-0 with 20 KO's and currently holds  IBF WBA and WBC Titles declared interest in becoming the undisputed champion at 118[1].  Inoue beats  the future Hall of Famer Nonito Donaire via 2nd round TKO last Tuesday.

Paul Butler has no choice but to fight against Inoue for an undisputed title fight because he have the missing belt that Inoue needed to become the undisputed champion. But as we saw, Butler was the first one to call for the fight and I seriously don't think that he's that positive and comfortable to defeat Inoue but I'm seeing that action as a way to sell the fight much earlier even if there's no negotiation happened as of this moment and make advantage while he can earn.
1803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: June 30, 2022, 07:24:03 PM
Looking at the current odds:

ML
Alvarez - 1.21
GGG - 3.95

So that is a huge disparity as far as the odds goes and they seems to really favoring Alvarez here. Maybe the age factor is what this bookies are looking at, GGG just won his last fight, while Canelo lost to Bivol. I think it's a great odds for GGG supporters this early as it is very attractive.

I've already anticipated this scenario that Canelo Alvarez will be listed as the favorite one to win while GGG will be the underdog but what I didn't expected was the gap of their odds because GGG has won his last fight against Murata while Canelo has been defeated against Bivol in his last fight. GGG's odds are attractive though but I can't be that sure that he will win, frankly.
1804  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can You See Or Tell If A Fight Or Event Is Fix ? on: June 29, 2022, 07:55:39 PM
Ofcourse, we can tell if there's something fishy because we've been watching our preferred sports for a long time so we will really know if the game/fight is rigged. Anyhow, we will just feel discouraged about that fact but we will always find ourselves watching the same sport Grin

I believe that rigging of games or fight are still common in low league sports and not in big events, they quite know that it is too risky if they will rigged a big event.
Even if we know something is suspicious, we won't be able to do much because we are just ordinary citizens with no power to protest against the fraud. Unless someone sees that the match is rigged and he has the power to protest it, the protest can only succeed in attracting public attention. Fraud can happen without the public knowing it because the people who organize the fraud have the power to control the people around them. So we can only allow cheating even though we know it.

Proving that a game is rigged comes with a price and it would take a long time just to prove that there is indeed a cheating happened in that certain match/game. As an ordinary citizens, we can only speculate it without having the chance to prove it because our voice is not that important compared to the minds who made the cheating happen.
1805  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: June 28, 2022, 08:28:55 PM
But to get the date of when they will fight - the purse split matters to their respective promoters.
In some cases, the boxers themselves want to fight as soon as possible.
But the delays originate from their promoters, who are not in agreement with their split.
And yes, Crawford vs Spence Jr, this will definitely happen, only the date is yet to be determined.
They will rake huge money, but getting the 4 world titles would be the best to get from this event.

Not in rush as I think whether it's not organized yet or not, the possible date will still be in October or November.

The purse split is really an important matter to discuss but I think they are close on the deal. Maybe there are other issues that need to be addressed and not just the purse split like location, venue, and any others.

But one thing is for sure, we can expect this fight this year. I don't see any reason why it should not happen.

As much as they want to fight each other the soonest time, they really have to negotiate first specially the magnitude of this fight. And then we have the ego of this two in equation, but maybe Crawford will give in to the 60/40 split just to make this fight happen. I think the location can be settled in as usually the venue have been reserved by major promoters and networks, it's who is going to fight on that said date.

This fight is going to happen this year no doubt about it. We will just have to wait for the announcement and then press conference will kick off and we can see the trash talking start.

I think they are already past in their negotiations of purse cuts because Spence already openly said in the public that he should have the bigger slice and that means no lower than 60% purse cut while Crawford will really take the remaining 40% cut of the purse because he's been calling this fight for long and this is the closest thing he's been into against Spence and he surely knows that he can't afford to get this undisputed match for long because he will be a year inactive soon.

If they want to settle the fight in October then they should announce it no later than mid of July because they still have to prepare for that fight.
1806  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Most Expensive Thing Bought with Winnings from the Casino or Sport Bet on: June 28, 2022, 07:16:59 PM
Nobody wins consistently. However, some people consistently profit from betting and can afford to buy something quite expensive unexpectedly and that is luck well put to good use.
and I once got a soccer bet of about $ 275 in 2020 and I used it to buy a two door refrigerator which is still there and is still good today, unexpectedly and coincidentally at that time my refrigerator was still one door and in poor condition.
and it was the biggest win for me and i put it way beyond my plans, and i am also not an active gambler and just playing in my spare time.

That's good because you managed to put your winnings into a good use and bought yourself a 2-door refrigerator, that right there is the right thing to do, well, I'm not saying that we shouldn't splurge ourselves with an expensive nonsense things because we also have the right to do it because it's our winnings and we deserve it but we should also set aside a portion of it to buy what's needed in the house.

Kyrie has opted into his contract with the Nets. He’s secured his bag, now he needs to find a team to trade for him. By opting in, he ends the Lakers speculation that LeBron will get him to sign for the minimum and then get him his Nike deal back.
Good for him. It's the most practical decision to make given all the circumstances. He could still try with KD for another season and split up if they fail. I'm pretty sure Kyrie will still have a good value by then unless he gets seriously injured.

Quote
This is sparking talk that Kevin Durant might join the Suns… That would be interesting. I don’t think it’ll happen, but there’s talks happening…
CP3 and KD in one team is an intriguing proposition to be honest. I would love too see that but it's a tough trade to pull off. Suns will have to give up a lot for this to happen.

Kyrie Irving will always be a valuable asset to any given team that's why there's still teams out there who would want to acquire him but upon acquiring him, they also have to deal with Irving's selfishness and he's thinking that he's that really entitled because of what he can bring to the team.

Looks like John Riel Casimero doesn't like the idea of having a small bout first and climbing the rank again.

He requested to WBO that he should be assigned as a mandatory challenger for Paul Butler. That's the only way to face the current Bantamweight King Naoya Inoue who now unified the 3 bantamweight titles without fighting on any tune-up first.

I hope Casimero's request will be granted although if really granted, he should not waste his final chance to take a shot against Inoue and worked properly on his weight-related problems that keep him inactive for 2 fights already. That was alarming as it just shows that he is not fit to fight.

Is it, now? Well, he is somehow eligible to have that request though but I don't know if WBO would grant his request and if ever his request are granted, I surely hope that he won't have the same issues again because he will be remembered for being a talkative clown and not his legacy. I assume that he found some legal way to address his weight issue because he is now requesting to be a challenger against Paul Butler.
1809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: June 28, 2022, 05:02:06 PM

Then he has to make sure that he can knockout Canelo so there be no more unfair scoring from the judges. The fight is going to be exciting, this is the last chance of GGG to prove that he really is the better fighter like he believe because if he still lose by the judges scorecards, then I think there's no bias in the last 2 fights.

Nothing to argue. If GGG still loses this fight or if somehow another draw happened, he will be retiring his belt with a loss from Canelo. It's good to see him more aggressive in terms of knocking Canelo down for a better score card. The two past fight gives Canelo edge, though the very first one was a draw and the second one was scored in favor of Alvarez.

We don't know how these fights will end, but fans are waiting for these two heavyweights to exchange solid punches.

Both are good in terms of accepting a solid combo and remain standing. Better luck takers..

That's the best thing to do, retire if he fails again because people will still remember him as a great fighter. Nothing to prove anymore, he already did everything but it's just that Canelo has youth over him and that is his advantage.

I think GGG will still have one fight in his arsenal if ever he will lose to Canelo in the trilogy and maybe that's it. And if the fight goes to distance and another controversy, we might again see another fight. But if Canelo wins in a decisive and resounding way, it's going to be over, Canelo closing the books in their rivalry. So this is very important fight for either of them and we are very exciting to see this fight.

I don't think there will be a 4th fight after their trilogy even if there's another controversy surrounding their fight, a 4th fight is already too much even if their scores will be tied to 1-1-1 in GGG's favor. But if GGG will really happen, I don't know anymore how would Canelo lift himself after getting defeated twice a row. Nevertheless, I believe this will be GGG's last fight but same as yours, mine is also a mere speculation and only GGG can answer that for us.
1810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can You See Or Tell If A Fight Or Event Is Fix ? on: June 28, 2022, 04:42:30 PM
It could be on basketball, boxing or horse racing, or any kind of sport, after being in a particular sport for many years can you see or tell if a fight or event is fixed, there are upsets but in the back of our mind, there's a possibility that the match or game is fixed.

No I can't tell it unless it is too obvious. I've seen goalkeepers (football) acting super stupid before and there was no other explanation for those games. They were fixed. Since I don't watch the other sports like basketball, boxing etc... I don't know anything about those games so It is extremely hard for me to tell anything about them. If you are a regular watcher and a fan of those sports, you could probably tell though. If the favorite side/player acting stupid for no reason > the game is fixed
Ofcourse, we can tell if there's something fishy because we've been watching our preferred sports for a long time so we will really know if the game/fight is rigged. Anyhow, we will just feel discouraged about that fact but we will always find ourselves watching the same sport Grin

There's a lot of rumors on Kevin Durant lately. I think the guy wants no part on Ben Simmons and Kyrie Irving. If Brooklyn Nets cannot satisfy his demands then he might be the one leaving. There's also rumors on a Boston Celtics trade for Jalen Brown, Marcus Smart and Grant Williams. Though this is a very big gamble if this really happens but who knows. Maybe Boston had seen enough on their Tatum-Brown build.

Well why would the Celtics break their chemistry when they went to the Finals last year with this roster? Doesn't make sense for the management to just trade them just to get Durant to Boston wherein Tatum is their superstar already? And I think the rebuild was effective already, they are just short of experience that's why they are beaten by the Warriors last year.

Exactly, it was the experience that made the Warriors win because they have the better experience, and in terms of chemistry, we can see that Boston have already built good chemistry. The management should not rush things, they have to take it one step at a time as getting into the NBA Finals is already a big achievement for the Boston Celtics.

just imagine the teams they beat to get into the finals.

1st round beat Nets
2nd round beat Bucks (defending champion)
ECF beat Miami Heat.

What a game by the TNT.

Mikey Williams contributed hugely in this game, Phoenix did win the 1st half but it was the TNT who dominated the 2nd half.
Williams scored 27 points on his first game this season if I'm not mistaken, he still hasn't change, he really is still a superstar.
1815  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: June 25, 2022, 11:59:25 AM
Yeah, GGG is always cool in this face off but you can see that he is not intimidated by Canelo. There is mutual respect but you can feel that there is really some hostility between the two. I'm just lost though, the 2 fights where contested in 160 right? GGG best weight, and then this time it will be 168 lbs? so it means this is Canelo's comfortable weight. So we might see the best version of Canelo here against GGG moving up in this weight class.

No personal enmity between the two. But that said, Golovkin has spoken to the media on multiple occasions about his displeasure regarding the scoring. He believe that the first fight was stolen from him, and the scoring for second one was also not fair. And he is further aggrieved by the fact that Canelo refused to fight him immediately after the second fight. GGG wanted a fight in 2019. Anyway, less than three months remain, and I am sure that this fight is going to be the most exciting one we have for the last 1-2 years.

1816  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The market is confusing on: June 25, 2022, 11:34:57 AM
The market is still confusing. The market is yet to figure out which way to go. Sometimes it seems like it will start to recover. Never again does it seem like it will go dip. I am afraid to invest in this market. So now I am waiting for the market to become stable. Let's see how long it takes to become stable.
If talking about waiting for the market to stabilize it doesn't look like it will happen in the near future,
but actually we don't know for sure what it's like because it's really hard to predict,
even though the condition is like this we can take advantage of it by buying it and holding it for a certain time until the market recovers again
Better think that the bear market is here to stay for a while. If we follow the trend, mostly the bear market will stay for years while the bull market will stay less than a year only, however, there's always an opportunity in bear market as this is the time where we can make ourselves ready for the next bull run.
1817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 23, 2022, 07:04:52 PM

But sometimes fate is never on our side and same as them, surely they haven't dreamt of being a boxing superstar but poverty makes the biggest push to make this kids fight to put food on the table. The same as Pacquiao, he grew up in extreme poverty and his mother wanted him to become a priest and not as a boxer but couldn't afford to place him in a seminary. The biggest push that led Pacquiao into a boxer was when his mother had a hard attack, he was left no choice but to have a fight locally and won $2 which he used to buy a medicine. Anyway, Pacquiao was named as Kid-Kulafu and was changed into Pac-Man when he had his 1st professional debut in the world of boxing.

If you guys are wondering how did I know these things, it's because Pacquiao had a movie depicting his early life before he became a star.

I haven't watched the movie yet, but I have known that movie as Kid Kulafu, maybe I will watch it later, and it is pretty much known here in the Phillippines,

Well, many Filipino kids here are pretty much exposed to poverty which is why they think that Boxing will be the only solution to their problem, but I think it is not the case, there are many different aspects of why people become boxers and you can not be rich just because you are a boxer some boxer's failed to deliver or attain what Manny Pacquiao has brought to our country there are boxer here that become poorer when they stop their career as a boxer I think the drives that Manny have will surely differ in many boxers here in the Phillippines, you can be a boxer but do they think they have the mind set and the fuel to become a Manny Pacquiao,

Well, you got some points there. Some are also dreamt of getting famous being a boxing star and some have been successful enough but nowhere near Donaire and Pacquiao's legacy and some are also not that lucky to achieve their dream because it's easy to dream of it but it's hard to be one of those real boxers which we know today because only few really born to be a boxer in the industry.

Manny Pacquiao had a brother named Bobby Pacquiao who is also a professional boxer but the latter had to retire much earlier way back 2008 because his losses are almost coming close to his winnings and he's not getting some main event fight just like Manny had. That's probably one of the good examples that boxing is not for everyone even if boxing is one of those ways to escape poverty.
1818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 23, 2022, 05:57:40 PM

That is right! Well, we can slightly say that they have some kind of advantage and that is because their head coach which is Steve Kerr is really an experienced basketball player during his time playing ball. Kerr made 5 rings during his time, 3 in Chicago Bulls and 2 in San Antonio Spurs and now 4 rings being a head coach in Golden State Warriors. He surely knows how to invest in some proper players and know how to utilize their each skills to make it a strength. Look at his roster now, it's hard to deny that they will be still dangerous in the upcoming 3 or 4 seasons minimum.

That is why the Warriors team is in good hands Steve Kerr not only showing potential in coaching but a good heart aswell, when shows respect and grieving for the mass shooting in Texas, and back on the game with the Dallas Mavericks,

Well Steve Kerr really is the sole coach for the Golden State Warriors but I think Joe Lacob's trust in his staff and coach was really important aswell it is not an easy task in giving financial support for the team as the owner of the Golden State Warriors, and on the night the Warriors won the Championship Coach Kerr give recognition to Bob Myers  in putting a great team I think every person that involves in developing the teams surely needs great salute, and respect,

Yes, that's how blessed the Warriors are as they have a kind and a good-hearted coach and a strict coach as well to make his team straighten up. I mean, anyone who helps the team surely deserves the credit and respect as they are also a vital reason on why the Warriors got the position they had now like the team's doctor which is the 1st person that Klay run into the moment they won the championship.
1819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is it so hard to win at gambling? on: June 21, 2022, 07:07:08 PM
Yes, that's indeed the exact reason for that and quite frankly not because of the reason like that specific gambler will lose in the 4th day. Resting on the 4th day to breath after that win for 3 days straight is a must and spend time with our friends and family, we must not let our emotions drive us because that's where greed comes in and eventually we will regret it.
Maybe it would be better if the gambler played the day after that, rested for 1 or 2 days, then could continue playing again.
But it would be even better if we could manage our gambling schedule maybe in a week, we could play gambling 2 or 3 times and use the other days for other activities.
Thus, we can regulate our emotions so that we don't think too much about gambling but only think of gambling as a means to have fun.
In addition, we can avoid the greed that will arise later.
You mean that specific gambler would still play on the 4th day and see if that gambler is still lucky? We can't exactly say if that's a good idea as for sure that gambler is really pushing his or her luck. Having a rest day in-between days is really a must to ease or mind from thinking about gambling stuffs, having some quality time or developing some habit or hobbies would somehow suffice.

^ Today’s rumor seems to be that the Nets aren’t happy with Kyrie and might not extend another contract offer to him. That’s already having people calling for him to join the Lakers. There just isn’t enough money to pay for Kyrie, Bradley Beal, Demar Derozan, along with LeBron, Anthony Davis, & Westbrook. I’m not sure if they’ll be able to make any moves at all. Lots of smoke, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they run it back with the same squad next year just because they can’t make any moves. We’ll see. Lots of rumors…

I'd go with Stephen on this one even though Kyrie is one of my top NBA players on my list. Man, he doesn’t play as much as he should. He lacks consistency. The team he leaves always ends up doing better. Kyrie doesn't put the team first. He was doing that for himself. I'd say, if you are looking to make a great team you should avoid Kyrie like the plague. I think Lakers, hiring Kyrie would be a huge mistake.

Correct, I think Durant's know that, he needed Kyrie's help last year but he is absent. Rumors as well that Kyrie and Westbrook traded, but again this is not confirmed.

But if Kyrie started to play good early and zone-in, the Nets will be a different team next season. They are still the second favorite as far as betting odds goes to win the championship next year, behind the Warriors and tied with Celtics.

Rumors of the lakers trading Westbrook to the Nets for Kyrie? Lol why on earth would the Nets make such a terrible move? Westbrook isn’t on anyone want list anymore.

I agree, if Kyrie were to have played for the entirety of last year, things would like have been different. Especially once they get Ben Simmons up and running, the Nets could be very legitimate next year.

That's a different rumor Grin the Brooklyn Nets certainly doesn't want to add Westbrook in their team, they already have some problems in their present roster and I doubt they will add another one with the likes of Westbrook. The Lakers made a terrible mistake during that trade and now there's no team in the league who's interested of Westbrook after his performance in the recently ended season.
