Strange how the account name has changed slightly  Huh Roll Eyes Cheesy Obviously opened a new account to respond to this thread as he forgot the login details of the one he was originally using to try and scam people.

Sorry didn't see your last post. Ok so I'm kind of confused. The txid's show the usual pool payouts including all address and shows in my wallet with no confirms but you guys aren't seeing anything? How is that possible?
I send out the payout transactions to the pool bitcoinds soon after they mature (usually less than 2 minutes)
Normally no one else on the planet is interested in them coz they are zero fee - so they are just in the pool's mempool.

Out next block (usually) confirms them.

In this case I suspect that many outside china saw the transactions since our block got out first.
Thus many had the payout transactions in their bitcoind to handle our block.
Of course, since the block was (later) orphaned, the payout transactions switched back to being unconfirmed.

Blockchain.info has difficulty dealing with orphans and also flags the pools that mine orphans as double spending (yeah blockchain.info is stupid)

Thanks for the explanation Kano. So will they actually confirm at all or be stuck in limbo?
When we find a block ... Tongue

Fantastic. They have both confirmed now. I know the process of the blockchain etc but when things go wrong I do get confused  Cheesy

Run an IP Scanner to see if you can find it on the network. It may well be connecting with a different IP address now.

According to my shift graph on the pool mine must have lost connection a couple of times and she's still running.

Well two payments have appeared in my wallet from the pool even though it's an orphan. Let's hope they confirm soon.
I suspect those were triggered by 442732.

Yea but unfortunately 3 hours later they haven't confirmed. Can someone with a wallet other than blockchain confirm if they have received them please?

As I said before I did not receive any payouts to my Core wallet. The last block paid was 442732.

I have like $7k in my paypal which I can prove.
What's $20 to mem

If you have $7k in your PayPal. Why don't you go to localbitcoins or coinbase and buy btc. Why are you coming into a forum with a new account and buying btc?

I don't need to chargeback. There isn't a point.

Again that's exactly what a scammer (or anyone else would say). But there is no way to believe you so no one will take the chance. I'm not accusing you of being a scammer but you will find it hard to scam anyone here if you were as people are wise to this kind of behaviour now.

Block trail has that block going to BW Pool. Is that an error or have we missed again?

Just got a notification from ckpool app "Block 442979 solved by wetsuit.594-1".

Could well be an error I suppose  Huh Cry

To help get a sale. Maybe you should take a picture of the equipment you have with a piece of paper with your forum name and date on so at least members can see you have gear you're selling.
1895  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: I have $20 PP need $16 BTC on: December 11, 2016, 03:45:40 PM
I'm not sure about this, I want to know also, but I think if you send money through paypal using send money to friends and family the sender cannot reverse the transaction. I hope someone can confirm if its true. If it is, I can probably help you out OP. I heard many bad experience and stories from other exchanges here that they got scammed because their clients did a charge back on the funds sent to PP.

Yes people have reversed transactions even if they were "friends and family" as they just tell PayPal their account was hacked and they never sent any money.

Hence why I've just said PayPal exchanges are generally only between trusted members who have felt before and know each other.
1896  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: I have $20 PP need $16 BTC on: December 11, 2016, 03:44:17 PM
I don't intend of charge back.

That's what every scammer says and it's a lie. Try some other forum to scam people with your new account. Only trusted members do deals with PayPal and they will check each other out to make sure the account is not bought.
1897  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: What is the power supply for AntMiner S7 ? on: December 11, 2016, 10:58:21 AM
For those in the U.S., here's a possible great deal.  The Thermaltake 1500w titanium PS is $280 at BH Photo Video with a Expected In Stock date of 18 Dec.  They charge your card when it's shipped so no worry about a delay.  I don't think anyone will find a similar PS for this price range, although the Corsair 1500w and EVGA 1600w T2 are rated better in online reviews.  When they were in stock on Amazon, they were around $420.

what about this one is it good to go?
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B013WW2YWE/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A1F7PLG6IW3IO6

That is the same as the one you linked to in your first post!!

You can get the newer version cheaper from Bitmain Directly. But yes that will be sufficient to power your miner.
1898  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [30+PH] Kano CKPool kano.is 0.9% PPLNS US,DE,SG,JP,NL on: December 09, 2016, 10:14:37 PM
No, 10 days isn't enough to get anything statistically valid.
That's actually the biggest problem in all this, the amount of data required to see 'partial' problems is very large.

Edit: also there's the issue of looking only at luck.
Withholding won't stop the current valid miners finding blocks.
We of course expect to see runs of both good and bad luck.

Whats a good time length for a rentals ban to get decent stats? 30 days? 60days?

I think its worth a try personally. The people using the rentals can always use them on another pool. A smaller one where the payout would be larger perhaps?
1899  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: EVGA/PSU what pins to jump for power? on: December 09, 2016, 09:21:55 PM
.....But since then I've made my raspi gekko Rig and using it via an ATX breakout board and voltage converter.

link to breakout board and you have picture of setup?

Picture of my setup (in the link below). But now it's an S9 instead of the S7LN. You can just about make out the breakout board at the top on the left (blue lights) . I'll find a link and add it in when I remember where I bought it  Cheesy

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=7216.7720

EDIT:-

Found the breakout board. Got it from a local company to me. http://ooznest.co.uk/ATX-Adaptor-Board?search=Atx

It's made by "Staticboards".
1900  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: EVGA/PSU what pins to jump for power? on: December 09, 2016, 07:03:40 PM
With my EVGA it just had a 24pin plug with the jumper wire attached. No extra mess. But since then I've made my raspi gekko Rig and using it via an ATX breakout board and voltage converter.
I have the same cable, but it's big and takes up space,
My OCD kicks in and I feel all that wire can be replace with a short jumper.

I'm also trying to find a wired or wireless relay controller to make this a switchable device, which I can do remotely, preferably from anywhere in the world

Sorry I didn't realise you were wanting to get rid of the cable completely. Sounds like a good idea to be honest. Some sort of arduino or raspi could do it couldn't it?
