Sweden national team during this qualification was really bad and probobly one of the worst qualifactions from them in a long time. This match against Azerbajian is only for confidence because they dont have any chance to go through. Probobly a good match to test some new players and see how they adopt in the team.

Apparently the test is going badly because I see that by the 15th minute Azerbaijan is winning 2-0. But in reality, I understand that it is difficult for players to find motivation for games that no longer decide anything while national championships are in full swing.
But there is a plus in such games - betters can bet against the favorite and hope that the demotivated favorite will unexpectedly lose.

2004  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 15, 2023, 10:45:34 AM
In terms of intrigue, a 1-1 result or a Juventus victory would be the ideal outcome of this game. If Inter wins, it will practically be the end of the race for the title. Otherwise, Milan and Napoli will have a chance to join the race again. Although in the next round Milan plays Fiorentina, and Napoli plays Atalanta, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they lose points.
A rare case, but the next tour will be a tour where all the top 6 teams play among themselves.

I have honestly never considered a Juventus Turin loss in this game as the end of the title race. If that was the case, it could have been called a day whenever a team was 5 points ahead in any league. It would still be a 2-ball game. Juventus Turin could just get back in track and keep winning their games and there is only one loss needed and Inter Milan would be in striking distance. I agree that it would destroy a lot of the excitement in the league for the moment, but it would not mean the title for Inter just yet.

Theoretically, you can lose any advantage, but if Inter wins now, I think their quotes will be about 1.4. And this will be quite logical - 13 games + won personal matches is a distance where luck has very little meaning and it is difficult to blame the current situation in the tournament on it. If one team is better than others in such a segment, then it will be more likely that after completing another similar segment, its advantage will increase. But I agree that it won’t be exactly the end, but close to it.
2005  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ UEFA Euro 2024 in Germany ⚽ - Qualifiers on: November 15, 2023, 10:39:25 AM
As Turkey have guaranteed qualifying from the group it is really very hard to predict how they would play against Wales in the last match away. I'm very happy for us to have managed to qualifying from this group. I'm expecting Croatia and Wales both to win tomorrow. However it wouldn't be an easy away match for Wales against Armenia.

For Wales, even a home game with Turkey will be difficult, because although Turkey has already qualified and does not have much motivation, they can play without any pressure and I doubt that they will give victory to Wales. The situation in Group D is in favor of Croatia - they have two easy matches left, while Wales have two difficult ones.
2006  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: November 15, 2023, 10:30:34 AM
Munich really doesn't seem to be having the slightest difficulty in group A, because I know they are very experienced in the UCL so maybe they can win the UCL this season, it's just that they have to get rid of Madrid and Manchester City first so they can reach the final and lift the trophy, no There are many clubs that look more convincing than these three clubs which are very strong in playing in the UCL.

Tuchel's current task is to make Munich play better, especially with Kane on the front line who makes Munich always perform well and always score goals at home to the opponent, he is like a goal machine that is hard to stop, he even scores almost a goal in every Munich match, Tuchel must maintain the performance of the other players so that they remain in good condition in undergoing the next round in the UCL. as long as they are consistent they can definitely succeed in lifting the trophy this season

Much will depend on how the draw goes and at what stage the favorites start playing with each other. In general, if you look at which teams have qualified (or will do so in the remaining two rounds), then for the winner this could be one of the easiest Champions Leagues in history: in Group F, two strong teams will be eliminated immediately at the group stage, Liverpool and Chelsea are not in the tournament. In fact, a favorite can reach the final without ever playing against a team that is comparable in strength to it, we wouldn’t call Sociedad or Feenoord equal opponents.
2007  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Sportsbet.io ⚽ Bundesliga ⚽ Football Pool Discussion Thread 2023/2024 on: November 15, 2023, 10:19:27 AM
Yes, Stuttgart's victory was a surprise for me (but not fatal because I know what Dortmund is like). I was also surprised at how low Union fell - 0:4, this seems to be an abnormal result, even taking into account the fact that now these clubs are at different poles of the standings.
Bayern have liked to concede goals in recent seasons, this is a normal result, although I was betting on a clear victory.

Bayern concedes goals more than they should, but there is a difference if they lead the game 4-0 and then concede the 4-1 and 4-2 or if they are about to lose points after a 2-0 lead in their home stadium against a team that was promoted the 2. Bundesliga just a few months ago. That should not happen and they should have more control during those games when they are already in the pole position like that. Against other teams this is more likely to be punished.

Can't wait to see Bayern play in the next round of the Champions League. The round of 16 should not be too hard for them, but after that I am really curious to see how they will be doing now that they also have Harry Kane being in great shape.

Isn't it too early to assume that 1/8 will be easy? After all, any team from Group F plus Atletico or Napoli could become Bayern's opponent there. All of these teams (including PSG) will be underdogs against Bayern, but I wouldn't say that no one will have a chance.
In the game with Heidenheim, there was indeed an unexpected comeback, but in the end it was only an opportunity for live bettors to make a profitable bet.
2008  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: November 15, 2023, 10:10:42 AM
It seems to me that Xabi Alonso will move to Real Madrid without much hesitation. Firstly, with Bayer it is more difficult to maintain the top level that everyone now expects from him (no matter how Bayer plays further). Secondly, Real Madrid is close to building a team that can dominate Europe in the coming years. What is better - to try to jump over your head every season with Bayer or to really fight for victory in all tournaments with Real Madrid? It may be “safer” to stay at Bayer since failure at Real Madrid will be perceived as an unacceptable failure (unlike an ordinary club where failure may even be the norm), but if Xabi is ambitious, then he should try to work at Real Madrid.

Xabi Alonso was a great player. And yes, he is no stranger to La Liga football. He has played for Real Madrid for a long time. And he also did a really good job at that as well. I do not think that assuming he is going to become the coach of Real Madrid is actually dumb. And after all the results that he has been able to bring in with his current team, Leverkusen, I think he will be able to do very well with Real Madrid if given the chance. Of course, if Real Madrid actually wants to get him, they are definitely going to get him. He should be a good coach to actually take the responsibility right after Anoti.

I also hope that everything will work out for him in Real Madrid. On the one hand, he is very young for such a high position, but on the other hand, if you look at his achievements (two Champions Leagues with different clubs + a World Cup and two European titles), you can see that dominance is something he has been familiar with for a long time. Plus, how steep a path he had as a player will make his authority as a coach undeniable.

Urs Fischer is coach at Union Berlin since 2018. He achieved promotion and managed to play internationally. But it seems he is not the right coach for the current crisis. Okay, I have already written it here, the problems are also due to the transfer policy during the summer break. But Union Berlin should slowly start scoring 3 points again. The international break should be used intensively to prepare for the next game.

In the next round, Union plays Augsburg and this is the best opportunity to start doing this. By the way, Augsburg is not so bad (they have only 4 defeats, one more than Stuttgart), but this is definitely a more convenient opponent for the Union than Bayern, with which they will play after the game with Augsburg  Grin Bayer beat them 4-0, which means Bayern will do it with a score of 5-0 or 6-1.
2010  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: November 15, 2023, 08:18:45 AM
Aston Villa has better goal productivity than Tottenham. But I see Tottenham still have a good chance of beating Aston Villa. This is an interesting match because the two teams are only 1 point apart. Tottenham will win that match and Aston Villa will remain in 5th place in the standings. Even though Aston Villa has more wins but it cannot be said that Aston Villa has better chances.

It is quite remarkable that if Aston Villa wins, Tottenham will be out of the top 4, but just recently (2 rounds ago) Tottenham was in first place. But it’s hard for me to believe in such an outcome, since three defeats in a row would be too unfair for Tottenham. I hope they stay in the title race. Overall, we are looking forward to a great tour with three big games at once.
2011  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cash out or keep playing? on: November 15, 2023, 08:07:37 AM
If he plays responsibly, then increasing the amount at his disposal should not negatively affect him. But personally, I think that after winning the jackpot you should withdraw more than half, more like 90-95%. If this is money that can change your life or just a significant amount, then it is better to keep it for yourself, and have fun as before, playing for the same amounts as before.
Without a doubt this should be the right decision to take, but often what happens after a big win is that people begin to get greedy as they think of all the money they could make if they keep gambling and they increase the size of their bet, and then when they follow that plan they realize their luck has finally run out and they just wish to recover the money they have lost so far, only to keep losing and eventually wasting what it could have been an opportunity to improve their lives.

Yes, this is a common scenario, but it seems to me that it does not concern much money. Because if a person received really big money, in my opinion, a kind of greed should turn on that will keep him from spending it. It's one thing to be greedy in the sense of wanting to get more and more, and another thing to be greedy in the sense of trying to keep what you already have. If you already have a lot, then the desire to save should also become very strong.

What should have happened even earlier has happened. Napoli finally sacked Rudi Garcia.

https://www.news18.com/football/napoli-sack-coach-rudi-garcia-appoint-walter-mazzarri-yet-again-8662762.html
"Napoli Sack Coach Rudi Garcia, Appoint Walter Mazzarri Yet Again"

Of course, it is strange that they invited such a problematic and conflicted coach, known not only for his victories, but also for a series of scandals.
This time the rumors say that Garcia was dismissed not for his results, but because of his conflict with Osimhen. Although to be honest it's hard to believe it considering how Napoli have been playing lately. They are in 4th place in Serie A and last time they lost to Empoli.
In general, the resignation is logical and it is good that they did not wait until the end of the season and fired him immediately.

It’s funny that the coach was accused of a conflict with Osimhen, although Osimhen’s conflict with the club began because of the PR department and some manager from there had already been fired as a result of this conflict. Although I don’t know all the details and maybe there really was another parallel conflict where the reason was the head coach, I also think that the main reason for the dismissal was sports results.

Hah.... Is this valid news? Not so sure. Roll Eyes

Looking at the football sports news there are interesting, but I'm not so sure about this rumor, in other words that UEFA while considering inviting Al Nassr to play in the champions league next season and all the letters are being considered.

Why I say this is a bit skeptical because it is not the continent, the Champions League consciously especially the European zone is unlikely to invite only 1 club Al Nassr because of Ronaldo's popularity and now the club is said to be 3 popular in the world.
I'm not sure anyone is taking this seriously.

[2] https://twitter.com/alharbi_44/status/1724469385392160876

I don’t think that this news is true at the moment, it is rather an attempt to test public opinion. If fans receive this news with enthusiasm, then perhaps another club will be entered into the European Champions League (not necessarily Al-Nasr, just adding a wild card system). And in fact, I don’t see anything wrong with this, I think everyone would dream of seeing how other best clubs in the world would show themselves in the Champions League. Taking into account the change in the format of the Champions League from next year, no one will even feel that a new club is playing in the tournament.
2014  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cash out or keep playing? on: November 14, 2023, 08:52:08 PM
I would ideally quit after a jackpot but if I'm still feeling lucky then my strategy is to cash out half of the winnings or more than depending on how much my initial bankroll was. I could lose the remaining or win more but the aim is to keep my capital intact while bringing home some profits. Every gambler has their own style though so let them be aggressive as long as they don't bother you when they lose.
Man, I advice you to not do that, leaving half of your win from the jackpot is a stupid mistake, stick to your budget because using half of what you've won as a fund for your gambling habit will result in change in routine which might make someone go off the rails in their gambling habit which will in turn become much worse. That feeling lucky feeling is a residual emotion you've got after you've won something big I wouldn't dare trying to gamble with that feeling because it's not going to result to anything but just more losses probably or frustration and regret when I could've just cashed out all the wins and not push my luck further.

2015  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: November 14, 2023, 06:00:55 PM
Only a Premier League club can do this. Real Madrid does not have the financial condition and neither financial policy to have two of the most expensive football players in the world on its roster at once (and maybe three if we take into account the progress of Belingham).
By the way, Haaland can easily leave both City and the Premier League, moreover, he will definitely do this - in one of his interviews he said that he plans to play in all the top European championships.

Im not sure about this, real madrid didn't require a lot of money to get mbappe but the club needs to spend a lot of money for haaland. The only problem if mbappe and haaland will be received high salaries that may push the salary cap of real madrid.
Considering the current condition of Real Madrid, which is in a good state unlike Barcelona, I don't believe that the only EPL club can achieve what Real Madrid can, especially given Barcelona's financial troubles and their horrible position.

Real madrid is still having a lot of money to do that. Even thought the club was taking 1 billion loan to renovation its stadium and i think that this is still going pretty well.
Madrid can sign those two at the same time without any problem since PSG will let mbappe to leave as free agent and that's it.
EPL has so many billionaires but real madrid is also having good balance sheet at this moment. The possibilities to recruit some star players are still there.

Why do you think PSG paid Mbappe a huge signing bonus (it seems to be about 300 million if we take into account not the lump sum payment but the contract term)? Because there are many other clubs that are ready to pay a signing bonus regardless of whether the top player is “free” or not. “Free” top players no longer exist, it’s time to come to terms with the fact that clubs are spending a lot of money in any case, regardless of whether they “buy” a player from another club or sign him “for free”.

The coach is always an important position for a team, but I think Al-Hilal is also loaded with international players that have had some sort of highly professional career. With Neymar being out, they still don't seem to be any weaker than they are with him. I thought that Al-Nassr would dominate the league with Ronaldo and Mané both being in great shape and also playing together as they understand each other pretty well. But so far Al-Hilal has been the more consistent team. The difference is in the defense as Al-Hilal only conceded half as many goals as Al-Nassr.

All that Neymar managed to show is that Al-Hilal is stronger without him  Grin Over the previous 6 years, Al-Hilal have been champions 5 times, plus they continue to strengthen their roster all the time, so it is clear that it will not be easy to take the title from them. Let's see how their personal meeting goes, maybe this will be a turning point in the championship or the end of the championship race. It’s a pity that Al-Nasr lost points out of the blue at the beginning of the season.

Pep's contract will be running out next year. The primary issue arises if he decides not to extend his contract. Numerous players are still staying at the manchester city caused by pep. I can imagine if pep will not be there again and there will be many players to leave from there.
Pep is the main reason people are staying in the club. It is caused by people knew him as one of best coach in the world. Manchester city needs also to prevent the worst thing that may happen in the club.
I think that haaland and any other important players will not stay in manchester city if there will be no him in city.

City's performance is very consistent but we must also admit that chelsea was so strong in the previous match. City has been using all of its power but chelsea is playing with all of its spirit. No doubt if city was getting draw against chelsea.
The result is not that bad but losing two points are still bad for manchester city. Chelsea is very strong right now

City were champions before Pep and will be champions after Pep. You are exaggerating his importance. And I doubt that there will be many players who will decide to leave a dominant club that pays them huge salaries due to a change of coach. Although, for example, Gundogan left for crisis Barcelona without any particular reason (and no Pep kept him).
2018  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: November 14, 2023, 05:39:08 PM
Xabi Alonso's squad is pretty stable. The team is not dependent on any particular player. Every player in the team tries their best from their position to perform well. And because of the good chemistry between the players, we see a better performance from Leverkusen in every match. While their defense is strong, the performance of the front line players is also very good. Leverkusen is consistently able to perform well in every match. This is why Bayern Munich is still unable to occupy the top spot in the table. Munich is 2 points behind Leverkusen. If Leverkusen can maintain this consistency, Bayern Munich's dominance is most likely to be broken this season.

At the moment, Bayer has scored 94% of all possible points. It is unrealistic to maintain this level throughout the entire championship. I don’t remember anything like this in any of the top leagues, even City when they scored 100 points had the worst percentage. Bayer will definitely lose points, the question is who will lose points more often - Bayer or Bayern? So far, Bayern looks stronger on paper, but Bayer remains the leader.
2019  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: November 14, 2023, 04:43:34 PM
Even though Xabi Alonso is currently the coach of Bayer Leverkusen and plays in the Bundesliga. But in reality, Xabi Alonso is also no stranger with La Liga football because in the past, Xabi Alonso was a Real Madrid player and also, Xabi Alonso is a Spanish citizen . However, regarding Xabi Alonso at Bayer Leverkusen, in reality Xabi Alonso is under contract with Bayer Leverkusen until 2026 and that is still a long time. But yes, I don't know whether if next season Real Madrid is willing to pay a high price to bring in Xabi Alonso, then whether that will make Xabi Alonso leave Bayer Leverkusen or not. Because yes, if Bayer Leverkusen is able to retain Xabi Alonso by increasing his salary, then I personally don't believe Xabi Alonso will leave that quickly.

It seems to me that Xabi Alonso will move to Real Madrid without much hesitation. Firstly, with Bayer it is more difficult to maintain the top level that everyone now expects from him (no matter how Bayer plays further). Another round with a few “strange” results, but I’m happy that at least for me there wasn’t a crash like in the last round  Grin
I'm happy for Bayer's record and amazed by Union, which finally dropped to last place. The distance to 14th place is only 3 points, but it is already difficult to believe that Union will get out of this situation. Fans of this club probably experience interesting feelings - playing in the Champions League and last place in the Bundesliga.

This time it paid off for me that we adjusted the scores for draws or otherwise I would less often go with a draw in those games. I think the strange results you mentioned are Gladbach-Wolfsburg and Stuttgart - Dortmund maybe? The other results are not really that surprising to me and to be honest, I went with Dortmund because I was sure that majority would pick Dortmund, but I thought that Stuttgart has a chance to win it.

But apart from the result I think the strangest game was Bayern - Heidenheim. The results are ok for Bayern, but really when Heidenheim ties the game in Munich in the 70' minute, something is still not going well. That should never happen.

Yes, Stuttgart's victory was a surprise for me (but not fatal because I know what Dortmund is like). I was also surprised at how low Union fell - 0:4, this seems to be an abnormal result, even taking into account the fact that now these clubs are at different poles of the standings.

Fans of this club probably experience interesting feelings - playing in the Champions League and last place in the Bundesliga.

indeed, having been in CL league, and still have some chances to pass into Europa league
while in Bundesliga they have lines of loses (in CL as well), having 12 loses in last 13 matches in all competitions

nice to see Leverkusen in this form, dough, they are playing really nice to watch football and hopefully that can last till winter break, and continue afterwards
on the other hand, Bayern lined 42 goals in 11 fixtures, as they are playing with amateurs

Bayer scores on average 3 goals, and Bayern 4. But in the head-to-head match it was 2-2, so it’s hard to say that Bayer is definitely better, although we all mean it and wait.

As for me, it was just another week to continue my slippery fall down the leaderboard  Sad

I really have lost my mojo for this pool too, I really need to find my form back, but I know what I need to do right to get back in contention, I've just been rather more of an unstable person and having one or two real life activities that's enormously time demanding have really shortened my time frame from prosper research and conclusive decision making to say the least  Roll Eyes I hope the international gives me a much needed time to find some clarity  Embarrassed

I understand perfectly well how you feel - I’ve had these feelings since the beginning of the season, and therefore if I know that my results are bad, I don’t even look at the standings. Sometimes you just have to focus on getting the yellow caps - even if you lose the tournament in every single round you can succeed.
