2021  Economy / Gambling / Re: The most trusted casinos on BTalk on: April 30, 2022, 12:48:30 PM
Hello there. Basically title says it all. The question is targetting veterans on this forum with more experience than me.
If you could take a few minutes and write a list of the most trusted casinos, I would appreciate a lot.
I'm pretty new here and from what i've seen so far, 1xbit, bitstarz and a few more are not really accepted in the gambling community because they have bad reputation. This is for my website that will come out in a few weeks Grin

Thank you!

Aside from asking here, which I guess already gave you an idea whom to trust and not to, you should take some time and do an in-depth research and background checking of those casinos listed to be trusted here in forum. Because of course, despite having trusted and veterans here regarding gambling that can give you some insights and suggestions, you are still responsible in terms of making your own analysis and decision. Do not just rely on what other people have said. Acknowledge it, but assess it as well.

Search the net regarding the unbiased reviews of those who experienced their service first-hand and check their website too, together with their requirements, processes, license, and operations. Hope your website will come out the way you planned it to.
2022  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Horse Racing and Gambling on it should be banned on: April 30, 2022, 09:34:07 AM
I was spending some time with my friends parents and there was not only a huge party but all of them placed p2p bets on the horse racing. They asked me to come over as well, the ending was deeply sad and essential to cover : The horse died after winning of a heart attack.

The horse was presenting signs of heart attack on the camera but no one was actually even giving it a second thought and at the end when it was the last lap, all the horses got whipped excessively hard as well. That gets me to my point "why do you support horse racing?" This is honestly far to cruel to continue.

According the this site: https://www.horsedeathwatch.com/background.php they have seen more than 2000 deaths in around 5500 days. Most of the horses die during the match as well, they also have instances where they are exploited using drugs (doping).

Are you aware that most of the horses go through slaughter as well? Some of them have very bad injuries making them not even the least bit useful for the business therefore they are killed without second thought. I do hope people would get more aware and try and steer away from *horse racing*.

This is so sad but I think banning horse racing is impossible. People only care about money, especially those powerful people who are getting benefits on gambling, they would never ban it. Animal abuse is incurable, because we don't care what happens to animals as long as we're having fun, which is pretty sad. If you don't want to see horses dying or being treated poorly, I suggest don't watch it, though I agree with your point that horses and other animals shouldn't be treated that way.
2023  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Good crypto casino comparison site on: April 30, 2022, 08:04:35 AM
Nice article, very clean and pleasing to look at.

However, it can ba more appealing if you're going to make it at least top 20 cryptocurrency gambling casinos, for gamblers to have so much options when they are exploring casinos and finding the one the fit their styles and play. Very great criteria as well on ranking them, it is indeed important to sort out best casino for gamblers to have an easy way of finding their home.
2024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Paradox of Gambling behavior on: April 29, 2022, 02:47:41 PM
I remember when I used to gamble I was not like I was gambling to win. Win makes you happy but this was more like an addiction. You do not feel good if you can not keep yourself busy with gambling. Your days and nights are going but you do not care about anything else but busy with gambling. It's a one way road for you. You earn money and spend there.
You are considering the dark side of gambling. Of course, this is the case and you need to consider the negative consequences if you gamble. If you limit yourself and play in moderation, then I don’t see anything wrong with that.
He said "he was not like" which means he is on the right track. He is not addicted or something but he only explains the bad effects that gambling can do a person. Gambling has no negative consequences if you only use it for entertainment purposes but only those who play for the profit will think that it has consequences and that is to lose money if they don't win.

There is nothing wrong in gambling but some people think there is. They do anything that they can think of to ban gambling so that no more people will get addicted to it but they don't know that it was actually the fault of those who get addicted. They are ruining the reputation of gambling.

Gambling has its advantages and disadvantages. Most often, people just recognize the bad side of it because of how it affects the lives of those people who indulged in it. When in fact, to begin with, those people with limited to no self-discipline are the ones to be blame because they have let themselves engage way beyond what they can handle. Addiction is a serious problem, and for one to be not addicted to something, it would take a lot of self-restraint and firm boundaries which some people fail to establish early on.

Hence, they fall into the trap of addiction. The good side is, anyone can recover from it if they would want to and if they are really determined to overcome it and ditch it. However, it wouldn't be a smooth sailing journey towards rehabilitation, but as long as someone is eager to be freed from it, it's possible. Tremendous work is required but it is feasible to do.
2025  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is it bad to leave crypto on exchanges? on: April 29, 2022, 02:01:23 PM
I have most of mine on an exchange because I'm getting paid interest. Has there ever been a time when an exchange like Binance for example, steals your funds or gets hacked and people lost money?
I think it is safe and has more advantage if you store it in a most reputable exchange like binance and houbi or kucoin you know that there is a lot of new exchange and it is a big problem if you store it in new exchange because you dont know if the particular exchange is scam or not, so i suggest to store on proven and tested exchange. Storing your crypto on exchange for interest is good idea keep storing and goodluck.

Nope, not at all.

Exchanges will never be a good safe place to store your cryptocurrency, because there are times that they've been hacked, but luckily hackers returned the funds or leave the stolen funds to a certain wallet that can't be open by other people and will be forever sleeping there. Hardware wallets are the safest haven for your cryptocurrency, because you're the one who holds the key to unlock it. It might be a little expensive but worth the price to secure your future.
2026  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Isa kaba sa my mga bitcoin or any crypto noon? on: April 29, 2022, 11:56:31 AM

"Isa kaba sa my mga bitcoin or any crypto noon? "

2027  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Traders Stop Being Greedy. on: April 29, 2022, 10:44:43 AM
There's nothing wrong with being greedy, well in a positive way though, not being greedy without any solid plan for assurance that you're really gonna get profits for being greedy. Being greedy without any well thought technical analysis is a waste of money, time, and effort. Trading is consist of so many things in order to be a successful trader, patient and emotional discipline is the most important to control the rest.
2028  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: So Many Exchanges out there on: April 29, 2022, 09:28:52 AM
I use binance whenever I'm selling my slp, eth, and Bitcoin. I always use their service because of their very active customer service. I accidentally sent my UTK (old one) to their UTK (new address) and they retrieve it for me instantly, it didn't take a week, which for me is very important. Their trading fee is reasonable, that's why I never use any exchange ever since. But it's up to you OP, you can explore them if you want.
2029  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Advice for poor people who wanna get some crypto on: April 29, 2022, 12:25:00 AM
Sign up bonuses are just one time, that's why you need to deposit your money and use it to trade in order to multiply it. But if you don't want to do that and you just want to get free money from signing up, you need to look for exchanges that do such thing. You'll also need a lot of devices to do that, and ID(s) for KYC if they require it in order to get the "free" money.

Try faucets, freebitco is the only faucet I know that gives free satoshis for so long, though you need a lot of time to save enough amount for you to withdraw it.

E D I T : I'm not promoting freebitco, just wanna give OP idea about faucet
2030  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you prefer lots of promotions over better RTP? on: April 27, 2022, 03:36:33 PM
I once played on a casino with more than 100 free spins and nearly one $300 however I need to wager that win and ended up losing so for me I think it is important to have promotions to attract players but also having a better RTP would be good for players that will be playing for too long and promotions for not that active players.

Sign up bonuses are really a thing in a casino or other gambling sites. These are made and given to new players to entice them to play and of course, wager so that the casino won't be on the losing end. As far as I know, most casinos don't really offer big amounts from bonus spins. I was wondering how you did it. But perhaps it's feasible if you're skilled and lucky enough.

RTP is essential to retain the players. Once a player started to play in that certain casino or site, of course, he is expecting some winning. If the house's rtp is very low, most probably the players will not be encouraged to stay and rather go out and find a new casino that will cater their needs. Because as you see, not everyone is just also after the fun, but also after the monetary prizes that come along with betting.
2031  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best online gaming platform on: April 27, 2022, 02:59:40 PM
The casinos are there to filter away your money and you can not become wealthy through gambling unless you have a exceptional skills and luck on your side to win over the house, but to achieve that is not easy and can't be assured even with the sites you listed.

Although there are some exceptionally guru who always seems to win over the House consistently and it amaze me how their do that but generally don't have the mindset of becoming rich through gambling.

We are not sure about that but yeah you should have exceptional skills specially with sports betting, there's really a lot of players that has large bankrolls and continuously trying their strategy such as in dice game or other types of game but I am sure they are just doing it for fun and not to be rich since they are rich on the first place.

Skills, strategy, and luck are of importance if you are planning to make a bet in any gambling platform or site. Skills and strategy are essential because if you lack that, there would be lower chances of winning. If the odds will be on your favor, it would be so much better because after all, every game has its probability outcome.

I agree that there are indeed fortunate ones who gamble just for the sake of fun and not really after the winning prizes. There are people who are willing to spend over luxurious activities such as gambling to satisfy themselves and perhaps to release stress. While there are also gambling because they are desperate of money.
2032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where does your country stand ? on: April 27, 2022, 02:28:54 PM
I check the site and it didn’t says there about crypto gambling, this might a whole casinos data and its hard to know how accurate those data. I didn’t see my country on the list but I can say that we are very open to gambling and our government support this one because it generates a lot of tax, maybe these countries can change from time to time, its hard to know.

I didn't see our country in the list as well, but just like you, our government is not really strict about gambling. Gambling is legal in our place as long as it follows the specific protocols and have license to operate. In addition, they must pay taxes too because that's how the government generate income to make infrastructure and other projects. Which I believe is fair and just because after all, gambling is still a business that should pay due diligence.

When it comes to the data, the information from a website most especially if it's a survey would really vary from time to time because certain conditions can either improve or make it worse. It would be better if OP double checked whether the data provided in the site is still up to date. Although, we can do that ourselves.
2033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Making e-sports more affordable on: April 27, 2022, 01:54:50 PM
Lots of gamers around the world would be happy to be incentivized for the hours they put in to the game. A lot of people are dreaming to get inside the world of esports like their idols, but in order to do this, lots of huge sacrifices should be made first before they can even enter this lucrative world. If someone can bring it closer to a lot of people, it will definitely be a hit and lots will support it. The video gaming industry is still expanding, and if they can integrate gambling, incentives, and gaming all in one, it will be a nice niche market that a lot of people can enjoy.

I agree. Those players that spend most of their time playing games would be delightful to at least have a decent incentive everytime they play the game. After all, they still put effort, time, and of course, resources such as data connection, devices, and electricity to be able to play. It's also very much known that the process of being a professional player takes a long journey and it's no joke to achieve such level. Having an incentive would be a great initiative to compensate the players for their hard work.

Since most young people aspire to have this entertainment and hobby to be their source of income and career, it would be nice to make it affordable and offer some incentives to make them stay, play, and give opportunity to step up.
2034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think New Casino Should Partnered With Bounty Managers To Gain Trust? on: April 27, 2022, 01:17:33 PM
We've seen a lot of new casinos having issues with how to start promoting their project, they just come here to post their thread and that's it,  we have seen members recommending casino admin or representative get a copper account and hire a designer to design their thread this happens so many times.

Do You Think New Casino Should Partnered With Bounty Managers To Gain the Trust of the community and start on the right foot
take the case of Bitlucy where bounty manager Royse777 is the one opening and managing the thread, the thread is just perfect and everything on the casino home page is well placed.

Do you think it's a big advantage for the new casino that they have a bounty manager to be part of the team, we have a good lineup of reputable managers here.

It could be one of the ways to gain engagement and trust from the forum members if they would partner with bounty managers, however, it shouldn't solely rely on that. After all, the trust given by the players are mostly from their first-hand experience from the service of the casino or gambling website. Engagement is nice to have wide reach and garner more clients, but trust of a player will not be based on that alone. As some said, some new sprouts casinos even partnered with one, but ended up getting scamming the players or providing bad service.

The reputation of the manager won't really matter if the casino won't do well in overall criteria for a casino to be considered competitive and in par with the existing ones.
2035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Paradox of Gambling behavior on: April 27, 2022, 12:45:24 PM
In roulette type games more than 95% of the amount is usually back to the player but when we talk about lotteries it goes way below 50% which is explained by the lower levels of winners and winning as a whole despite that lottery is some of the biggest revenue collector for the government. The players usually focuses not on winning big, but most of the time the short increase of dopamine makes their money worth it ( ofc if used in moderation)

What do you think is the best game/ sports to gamble on ? Do you do it for winning? Are the ideas in the article according to you correct? How many times you usually win in a game of chance+skills?

Roulette is better than lotteries because they have a lower house edge. Lotteries, especially the government backed ones are a major scam. It is just another form of taxation. You should never ever participate in any government lotteries. Most of the money goes to the politicians and only a little of the total amount returns to the participants.

Desite lotteries having very low chances of winning, a lot of people are still enticed with it. Even if they know that the probability of them hitting the jackpot is very slim, people still risk to bet in it. Some people even have a set of numbers that they are holding and betting for for so long because of its sentimental meaning such as important date of events in their lives.

If we are going to be real, there's a 1 in a million chances of winning it. 1 out of 14million to be exact as what I have read because there are a lot of possible number combinations in a draw. Getting the exact position and combination of it would be really hard. If someone would be able to win, it's just really a matter of luck. Hence, I don't also recommend playing it. The government just benefits from it while others keep on betting. It's much better to save up those bets than to risk it in betting with a very small chance to win.
2036  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Paradox of Gambling behavior on: April 27, 2022, 12:13:57 PM
One might already understand that winning at Gambling is hard but at the end of the day we still see a lot of people increasingly interested in Gambling, this might provide an insight into the casino business and at the same time help explore the ideas 💡 in the mind of a Gambler.

One might be aware of the fact that even though the Gambler knows that he is loosing money they measure the gambling to be an effective usage of that money, a leisure activity to begin with therefore it's more concerned with the activity-than winning an idea that some problem gamblers ignore.

The best game or sports is a subjective matter. This will vary from a person's preference. Personally, I prefer sports because I get entertained on it a lot and I discover new things too. Others might find it boring or too much of a work because one must have a background about the players, teams, and the sports itself, but I find it enjoyable. Way back, I randomly place bets whenever I feel like it and not really to gain something.

Typically, there's a high chance you can predict that right outcome if you know both teams well. However, things might change instantly once another team caught up with the other so I guess it's still a matter of luck and good critical thinking skills. If I would rate it, I would say that before I have a 7/10 chances to win whenever I bet. Although right now, I can't really say because I've been busy with other things.
2037  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: sports betting sites that return your money when you lose. on: April 26, 2022, 03:46:38 PM
Bumping to spread awareness about this scam site.

Thanks for bumping this thread. While I was reading the title, the first thing that came to my mind was, "is this a scam?" or "is it just a point system that if you lose you will get points which you can convert later." But upon reading the whole post and visiting the website, I would say that the website is very poorly designed and you should really not trust this kind of website because, as you can see, the efforts of the websites of the legit casinos and how they made it." Also, you are earning way too fast and too big, which is really weird why they are giving that huge amount, but I don't know if you ever tried to withdraw your money, I think you can still get it since this was like a ponzi scheme or HYIP.
One of the few indicators of an illegitimate betting comapnies are enticing benefits that attracts people. If they keep giving back losses how would they pay thier bills or make profit, except they have other means of making profit which is unlikely. Just like Ponzi schemes they might give you back your loses which would spur you to keep betting. One-day you might bet with a large sum and you would not get it back when you win or lose.

I cannot agree more. These kinds of offer are indeed too good to be true. And if a thing is like that, it probably is. Because just like you said, if a company or business will return back the losses of players every single time, how would they even profit? And would it even be worth it to call it a business if that's the situation. They are merely giving endless opportunities to the players to win without getting in return. They should have established a charity instead of gambling business if that's their goal.

If anyone would stumble upon one that claims like this, beware of them. They could instantly take everything you worked hard for. Promises like these are most of the time fake and just a deception to make more people invest, buy, or try their products or services.
2038  Economy / Gambling / Re: Best casino other than Stake . com? on: April 26, 2022, 02:56:29 PM
What is a great 100% trusted Crypto casino other than Stake . com? Why is is good, fast payouts, generous bonuses, no ID needed, etc?
OP, if I'm not mistaken, everyone has their favorite gambling site, of course the best one for them, which everyone will definitely recommend based on their experience in gambling.

However, if I suggest a certain gambling site for you other than the Stake.com site, which is the best, I can make sure that the advice is not necessarily suitable and good for you.

Gambling, based on experience, convenience, the responsibility of the site to its users, if you haven't tried to play, you will never know the gambling site is good or not.

But, in this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5333602.msg56883071#msg56883071, at least it can be the best information for you to read, about good gambling sites and not.

I agree with you. Everyone has their own favorites and preferences. If you will ask someone which among the casinos is the best, they will surely answer you based on their preference and tested gambling sites.

If someone really wants to know what is the best gambling casino, then you can do an in-depth research about it, not only relying on the replies, but counter checking them as well. The casinos the members will mention here, you can check all of them on the Internet and read every unbiased reviews about them. You may check as well the content of their website, the terms of service, and processes on that site as well as the requirements if whether they require KYC or not. By doing that, you are doing yourself a favor to avoid unnecessary trouble in the future.
2039  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are new bitcoin users early or late to the party? on: April 26, 2022, 02:21:26 PM
I feel like I'm too late and the btc price is literally just gonna go sideways forever. Or maybe a slow gradual push up. Maybe in 20 years it will be worth half a mil.

I dont think we're gonna see anymore gains like people of the 2010s and 13s experienced. and even 2017...|

Will btc ever hit a million? Or hundred million?

I kick myself so hard every night going to sleep that I didn't get in earlier. Liek I'll literally have dreams of being in 2013 when I first heard about it and buying some... T_T

Bitcoin is here for the long term. You shouldn't worry much if you invested for it for long-term plan in mind. If you managed to invest now in bitcoin, still consider yourself lucky because not everyone has the capacity to buy now given the situation we are still in. Do not be hyped and fomo-ed so that you won't lose it. Thinking and regretting you should have known and bought bitcoin will do nothing, but will just only cause you stress and anxiety.

Instead of focusing on what's already done and to what you can't go back to, use your time to make diversified investment if you are capable to have various sources of profit. Make multiple streams of income as well so that you won't get complacent and stagnant. It will also give you additional money that will be beneficial to your portfolio. Make your move now, don't look back. Just focus on the present and future because you can no longer turn back time. But you can still write what your future might be.
2040  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where have you saved your bitcoin keys? (satoshi saved it in cd rom! allegedly) on: April 26, 2022, 01:39:46 PM
I store mine in my trusted bitcoin wallet. People can store it in different ways depending on their preferences. Some store it in hardwallet, some store it on their mobile devices, some store it in a flashdrive, some store it in unused computer, while some prefer the old way of storing their private keys in a notepad, stored in a safe place. It is just really a subjective matter and we can place it  wherever we are comfortable and at peace with.

If you already found something that works for you, then good. You just do you. Just remember to always still be cautious despite securing your private keys because there are still scams and schemes out there used by those hackers and people who do phishing to infiltrate your account with your help, without you noticing. Always be vigilant and keep things private so that you won't attract scammers.
