1041  Economy / Economics / Re: War: who benefits and how! on: March 10, 2023, 01:21:16 PM
If we're gonna talk about economy, no one get any benefits from war. The production of weapons like guns, bullets, missiles, tanks, jet fighters, helicopters, warships, are very expensive that most of the economic budget are being used. Also, the damage of war is the worst, everyone could be affected in the whole world if it's gonna be a nuclear war and more. Whoever wins, it doesn't matter at all, because everything will be destroyed.

War is all about abusing of political power and greediness.
1042  Economy / Economics / Re: Is taking a loan/debt addicted ? on: March 10, 2023, 09:58:34 AM
Debts that are being paid by debts is a suicidal cycle that will only take away opportunities of your lifetime. Other people doesn't have any choice because they doesn't have enough privileged to earn money by being employed or being a freelancer, so that is their last resort. A cycle like that do exist most likely in a third world country. It's hard to have a life like that but that is the only way they can think of to survive.
1043  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it legal for our kids to learn trade? on: March 10, 2023, 04:23:06 AM
I want to know if it right for children that are of 10-15years go in to trade or not because I have a kid friend of about 14years and very eager to learn trading but am scared of the lost and how long it will take him to understand what his doing, because it hasn't been very easy for me. So what your opinion please I need help? because I think is too risky for them to go in to trade for now.

As far as I know, learning to trade or anything that will benefit him or he really wants is legal, as long as you won't do anything that breaks the law in your country. It's like teaching stuff in school, I can see no harm of a kid who wants to learn about trading, as long as it's all about knowledge and no actual funds included yet. You can give him a free trial account for him to test his knowledge out.

As long as there's a guardian for the kid in trading, I believe it is legal.
1044  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Time to buy or sell? on: March 09, 2023, 02:30:31 PM
Depends on how you approach the market and honestly, where are you during the bear market?
I’m wondering why many are not buying during the bear market where in fact, that was the best time to buy more and hold more. Now that the price is rising, many rushing into this marker as if they are going to missed something. If you are bullish right now and see a lot of good opportunities, better to buy now and wait for the bull trend.

Reasons why people missed the bear market, (1)FUD, (2)GREED. Those two are the ones making people hesitate to buy Bitcoin whenever there's a opportunity. If OP is planning to buy Bitcoin and hodl for long term, but doesn't know when to buy since predicting the market is ain't easy, I would just buy right away with the current price and will wait until the bull run is back again.

I mean the price where we are right now is still too far from its last ATH, so it's not that bad.
1045  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never Trade on Emotions on: March 09, 2023, 01:37:58 PM
Whoever there is a pump in the market, you think you should invest in Bitcoin and Altcoins and you may benefit from it. But after your investment, the market goes down, and you think you are losing money, so you sell everything, again when you see the market go up you invest.

This is not about emotion, this is plain stupidity and naiveness. If you knew that you're a newbie, I wouldn't even buy Bitcoin or Altcoin if I didn't know what's going on with the market. If you're gonna say that we can't blame them since they are just newbies, no, it is their responsibility to study cryptocurrency first before buying anything. Instead of earning money, they are just wasting their money with their own mistakes.
1046  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Gambling earn someone a living on: March 08, 2023, 03:55:22 PM
So my question now is that can someone use gambling as a means of earning living?

That's every gambler's dream and goal but a dream that is hard to accomplish on a platform where so much relies on luck, even if you are good at analysis it cannot help you to reach your goal of making a living in gambling.
If you're a player you cannot, if you're a developer or owner or employee that's the only time that you can make a living from the gambling industry, your loss is somebody's gain, players are the only sector in gambling that cannot sustain making a living out of it, even if they are the one sustaining the industry.

This is right.

It's almost every gamblers dream, those who want to make use of their hobby as income generating definitely thought of this. However, it will be hard on someone's end if he knew it to himself that he isn't that good with gambling. Of course, one must be good enough, possessing the right qualities, skills, and knowledge to be able to profit in any field. In this case, extra effort and relying to luck is what's left for the player. Since gambling has its risk, much riskier compared to other source of income due to its nature, it will be hard to have consistent amount of payout.

There will be good and bad days. If you will decide to pursue it as your way to survive, then be ready for all the possible consequences. After all, it does not only offer benefits but disadvantages as well.
1047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: March 08, 2023, 02:06:40 PM

On the other side, Yup AI can provide the verdict but the accuracy still in question, that data and information from past games may be useful but the actual situation during the game will change the possible outcome, it's been added before that there are consideration like injuries and other types of possible reason to change the outcome.

Where AI didn't anticipate when providing the verdict and providing the possible outcome of the game that you pick.

I agree with this. While AI can predict the game's outcome, there's no guarantee that it will not be wrong because AIs are just relying on the past information and the information given to its system. The other aspect of researching isn't covered, therefore there's a chance that the relevant and updated news or the minor details are overlooked. Which in this case, it'll be a disadvantage since not every factor and angle are considered in decision making.

If you'll use an AI to predict a game's result, then you must be ready for whatever the outcome of your bet relied on it. For me, you should still do your very own in-depth research and analysis aside from consulting or following an AI prediction.
1048  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wrong Bets !!! on: March 08, 2023, 01:21:52 PM
I haven't tried this yet, thank goodness. But it's very unfortunate on your end. I assume you have big regrets right now for accessing your account earlier today. But I totally get you and your grief. Just take this as an expensive lesson to not do the same mistake in the future. Sometimes, our eyes really play a trick on us. I've had my few moments of misreading and misclicking something which results to a bad outcome, although it's not gambling related. It's really essential for us to always double check whether we typed in a correct figure before we push through with our transaction because sometimes, things are irreversible.

I just hope you'll be reminded of your today's negligence, not in a bad way, but for you not to encounter the same trouble. There are many members here that had experienced this, I'm sure you're not alone so don't be so hard on yourself and just accept it, then move forward with better view and actions.
1049  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling using chip in money? on: March 08, 2023, 12:33:45 PM
I haven't tried this yet and most probably I will never have the heart to do it either in the near future because I know well-enough the risks associated with gambling, using your money alone and not even your friends'. Gambling using your own hard-earned money possess a risk. What more gambling using a chip in money from your friends, the consequences will just be greater and it could even put your friendship with them at stake the moment things don't go into your favor.

If my friends will allow me to use the money we pooled for gambling, I would first of all, make everything clear to them that whatever happens, there will be no pointing fingers and "what could have been" questions. It should be established that there is a consent prior making the bet so the friendship won't be at risk. Next, I will let them know about the possible outcomes, the worst case scenario such as losing it all, if they agree then that's when I'll proceed making the bet or playing the game. Otherwise, I won't really engage in it. It's really a tough topic since friendship and money is involved. We don't want to lose the people we value the most just because of money, do we? So it's better to be cautious than to regret big time later.
1050  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any Casino Android software on: March 08, 2023, 11:56:41 AM

There's not even anything to argue about!  Of course, applications made specifically for an android phone, or in general for any mobile phone, adapt to the convenience of the player in terms of interface and speed.  And they are generally more convenient to use on a mobile phone than browser versions of the same game.  But still, according to my observations, some people prefer to play browser-based versions of the game even on their mobile phones.  Apparently it's just a matter of habit.  And it is more convenient for them to play on almost the same interfaces on both PC and mobile phone.

It's also great that you immediately write reviews if you see any negative in the development of the game.  This is definitely very useful for beginners and in general for many people who love gambling.

Applications are designed mainly for convenience purposes. People aren't all the time at the comfort of their homes to have the luxury of browsing or playing through their PCs so developers thought that it would be nice to make an application for mobile devices to cater the needs of the players. In that way, they won't lose regulars and they will satisfy the request of their patrons.

Although applications are now widely available for some games, some players still prefer accessing and playing through desktop mode maybe you are right, it might be because out of habit only, but some still find it easier to navigate and to have the wider and all around view of the interface. It's still a matter of preference still when it comes to this because not everyone likes to be on their smartphone and vice-versa.
1051  Economy / Gambling / Re: What if bitcointalk creates a casino review and ratings board for members. on: March 08, 2023, 10:51:08 AM
This sounds a great idea because it will be much more convenient if we will have this feature in forum, casino review and rating board for the newbies and those people who want to discover and try something new. However, this will take additional effort, maintenance, and of course, funding because the more board there is, the more posts the moderators will have to look at filter. In this case, they might hire additional manpower. Which actually sounds good because of employment, right, but the thing is it's an additional cost on their side.

We already have the right avenue such as gambling and gambling discussion for this which members can freely review and make ratings of a casino they have tried, so I guess this will suffice for now. After all, we shouldn't really be spoon feeding everyone, they have to keep looking and researching as well to explore more knowledge and new learnings. But this could be possible if the instances will permit to put up such for the benefit of many.
1052  Economy / Gambling / Re: Researching for Upcoming Game on: March 08, 2023, 10:14:48 AM

Well, considering that creating a casino is something quite difficult, firstly because of the amount of associated work that always arises and secondly because of the amount of money that is invested, it is obvious that to make a difference a new site has to have very suitable conditions. for the players.

What is most talked about in the gaming threads is the issue of KYC, the issue of licenses and how it affects some casinos that prohibit many countries, I have very clear positions on this, the first thing is that they should not be very demanding of KYC, but it's hard because otherwise you don't get good licenses, and banned countries shouldn't exist, if it's a crypto casino there shouldn't be such a ban, it's simple.

Establishing a casino is really a tedious task because it needs a lot of effort, time, and resources for it to be successfully built and operate. Planning, organizing, and execution of the strategies to build it is time consuming and draining, so if you don't have the enough mental headspace for it, then probably it's not for you. But if you think you are capable to do it, then go for it. You need to have extra patience, creativity, and fund for it to happen. You must be always prepared for any problems and challenges that may arise after deciding on establishing one since it isn't guaranteed you won't encounter hurdles.

Researching about what the players want and need is what will make you stand out and be patronized. Most clients don't really like KYC, so you should really put that into consideration, whether you will have to impose or not, as it is a deal breaker to others. Of course, variation of games matter too alongside with the ease of processing transactions.
1053  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Gambling earn someone a living on: March 07, 2023, 02:54:46 PM
Yes, gambling can earn someone a living if you are very good at it and very lucky at the same time.

But it's really a risky move if you will pursue gambling as your main source of income because there isn't a guaranteed profit in gambling. You'll always have the risk of losing because it's a game of chance and strategy. If you don't possess the knowledge and skills needed for gambling, then I suggest that you don't try to go for it because you might end up losing more instead of winning.

In gambling, there's no safety net unlike working in a corporate world. The monetary profit isn't secured and there will be days where you will not generate big amount compared to other days. So you must really assess whether you could handle the stress that might come alongside with it or not. There are pros and cons which you need to weigh repeatedly before arriving at a decision you won't regret hopefully. But personally, I wouldn't risk it because I want a stable income that will make me financially independent.
1054  Economy / Gambling / Re: What else should an established crypto casino add? on: March 07, 2023, 01:32:36 PM
Finally, some good contests, $100k holiday Fairspin is up for grabs, along with many other prizes. These guys are several steps ahead of all competitors, in this regard. It’s cool to know that all the bets I made weren’t for nothing
I agree, such an addition for players can definitely please them.
And it can even be an excellent tool for promoting and advertising casinos on the market.  Such events can keep players in the casino for quite a long time.  But, of course, some one-time promotions that allow players to get some bonuses, and unexpectedly for them, should be fairly regular and not have an exact schedule in advance.  Then the effect of unexpected luck has a huge stimulating effect on the player.  And the player will continue to play in such a casino with pleasure.
In general, a good way to stay in such a tense and competitive market as online casinos.
We will look at several promotions from other casinos which will confuse us about choosing an attractive promotion because each promotion made by each casino provides very attractive bonuses or prizes and you don't want to miss participating. And by using promotions like that, every casino can attract more and more new members to their sites, making casinos bigger than before. And after getting a big profit, the casino will allocate a certain amount of money to make other attractive promotions.

Well, if you really want to get the best out of the promotions and bonuses offered, you must really take a look to what other casino has offered for their players and future players. They might seem similar at first, but trust me, there's always a better option compared to another. You won't really be confused if you know in the first place what you are looking for and what you are after. Bonuses and promotions are really meant to garner and entice players to play into their site, but the strategy on how they wil gauge the clients is what makes the difference.
1055  Economy / Gambling / Re: Diamond 5 Stake, account was hacked on: March 07, 2023, 12:51:53 PM
It seems unlikely that you will recover what the hacker stole from you, even if we say that someone will help you because I have not heard anything after being hacked that the hacker has recovered what was hacked from him.

Maybe learn a lesson from what happened to you, at least you know what to do next time because hackers can attack wherever we are if we are careless and we are not the ones to go around in this cryptocurrency situation.

Indeed. As sad as this may sound, but don't expect so much from this day onwards. The harsh reality will not sink in instantly. If you are still in the grieving process, it's okay, but don't make another same mistake. Most people who gets hacked often fail to recover their lost funds, that's the truth. Only a few managed to somehow get back a portion of their money mostly because the company itself made a compromise. And not because the ahcker suddenly had the heart and conscience to return what they have stolen.

I agree that just think of this as a learning experience. Just think of the money lost as your tuition so that next time, you know better and thus, this won't happen again. Do not fall victim into more scam and schemes saying they could recover your money because clearly, they couldn't and they will just use you for personal gain. Accept your mistake, move forward, then think and do better the next time around.
1056  Economy / Gambling / Re: What else should an established crypto casino add? on: March 07, 2023, 12:17:42 PM
~ Speaking about features and other similar stuffs then i dont see that there would be something new been offered soon considering that almost everything is just identical when it comes to promotions and offering.

This is why im not really that much hopeful if ever there are new ones that could be seen if we do speak about features and other possible benefits for a gambler to have.
It is really just for entertainment after all in the first place.

It looks identical at first glance, but there are little differences that gamblers notice and for that reason choose one casino over the other. It's like with cars. They all look identical if compared to motorboats or planes, and yet they are very different, and the prices are different too. What I like about casinos is that, unlike with cars, it costs you the same whether you play on a cheap slot or the most expensive one regarding production.

It's different. That's why some players jump from one casino to another because they see something worthwhile to the other. It may seem identical to you, but casinos offer different terms and conditions regarding campaign promotions and bonuses. Hence, some players prefer the other compared to the usual ones. Some have higher bonuses given without very much high requirements unlike other casinos. Low wagering requirement, ease of processing the transaction and the likes.

Players, most especially the ones who are playing and betting for the longest time know how to determine the differences and unique features one possess.
1057  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would You Build your Own Casino(online/offline) If You Know You Can? on: March 07, 2023, 11:32:37 AM
If I have the resources to establish a casino, such as money, I would probably do so. This is because it will be an additional source of income, a business to generate an additional fund that could be used for other expenditures or to venture on new business ideas I have in mind. This could also pave way to offering the players near me, if I would ever set up a physical casino, to have more options and alternative games to play than the usual ones in traditional casinos.

But of course, this will really take up a huge responsibility. Since building a casino and any other business in general takes a lot of effort, time, and money. One must be hands-on if he wants to be an entrepreneur. In this case, I will have to sacrifice and consider other things if ever I'll venture into this industry knowing that gambling is still some sort of taboo topic even here in our country.
1058  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: March 07, 2023, 10:48:40 AM

Yeah!  There could be many reasons why the guy made such a big, crazy bet and lost that $1.4M.

For example, I do not rule out that this is just a contractual bet made specifically to promote and advertise such an event.  Moreover, the advertisement is not so much the guy himself, whom many now consider an idiot, but the casino itself, or rather the bookmaker, through which such a big loss was issued.  We do not know many details of this event in order to somehow objectively assess such an event.
And who and how much received from such a deal.

It's possible that this is all plotted from the very beginning to make a noise and stir some speculations and gather attention to the casino website the gambler has lost his millions of dollar, which to be specific, amounted to 1.4 million dollar. Since this is such a big amount, it could be happen to be sponsored. But if that's not the case, it's also possible that the gambler just happen to misclicked or misread the numbers he typed and input, thus amounting to such huge amount of money placed for a single bet.

It's also possible that he trusted so much to the point he was so sure the team he bet on wouldn't lose, but unexpected turn of event happened, thus losing the supposedly "guaranteed win". We'll never really know because there are endless possible reasons. But bottom point would be, always double check your bet, and just bet what you can only afford to lose.
1059  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Robbery that attacks Bitcoin Holders on: March 04, 2023, 02:29:25 PM
This could happen to anyone who are holding Bitcoin if they are bragging about it on social medias, that's why staying lowkey is a must. I couldn't see any advantages at all like those who are being featured in television or vlogs who are a multimillionaire in cryptocurrency. The world is getting more scary as the days goes by, we don't even know who to trust. So always make sure that you're not telling anyone about your big hodling of Bitcoin, it could backfire to you anytime.
1060  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The fruit of greed is never good,, on: March 04, 2023, 12:49:22 PM
Getting a random message from telegram is already suspicious, unless you didn't know scams about it. It's important to be cautious since there's a lot of way scammers will steal your money by phising links, so asking someone first about it is really important. If your friend really wanted to double his Bitcoin, I suggest look for legit ways of doing that instead of having an idea to double it overnight which is too good to be true.
