1201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: betting against the Public, is this strategy working? on: January 16, 2023, 04:08:19 PM
I guess it is working, but of course, still do this with precaution if you aren't very much familiar with it.

While the concept of betting against the public is really simple, it could still be a little tricky because you'll never know if you are on the winning or losing end because there are still sudden turn of events even at the end of the game. Although I must say this is pretty much common in sports betting because people have the perception of joining or following someone or something that is stating that this team is great and thus, will win.

Most people are gullible, let's admit it. Some are brainwashed with the ideas and information that the mainstream media feed their minds without knowing that these media outlets just want to make some noise and perhaps hype the team or player. Sometimes, the media just really left some reservations in publishing something so that they'll have more engagements and their name would be known.

Meanwhile, some people are just not that into it but decided to go through it nonetheless. Which means they would bet just based on their gut feeling and little knowledge if ever they have any, which results to failed attempt bets because it wasn't backed up by factual information that are reliable and updated.
1202  Economy / Gambling / Re: What else should an established crypto casino add? on: January 16, 2023, 03:35:30 PM
~

This is true. I personally done this and play only on Duelbits for a long time while just visit only few casino to try out there bonus and promotion but still I keep coming back to Duelbits. The only thing that will make me switch my main casino is when account is become restricted on accessing the casino promotion which I’m experiencing right now for unexplained reason.

But it’s really true that long time player usually develops loyalty to the casino that they are using most of the time.

I just wanna say that normally we are loyal to not just one, but to several casinos, to like 5, or even 10, like it is in my case. And all of them can be attractive in different ways. You may like house games in some places. And in other placers you may play slots just because they accept crypto currencies you prefer. You can visit some platforms because of their promos, and other platforms because of the odds on sports betting. Also, some places you can't leave just because their chat box is fun and you have lots of pals in it, and of course you play a bit while you are there.

I agree with this. Most casino players have different casinos they are loyal to. Gamblers have their right to play on various casinos. A lot actually do this because most of the time, the features and variety of games you are looking into, aren't really incorporated in one casino alone. Hence, gamblers open up accounts in various casino websites that will cater their needs. Some sign up for casino games, some make an account into a sportsbetting focused casino, while some other prefer to have an account in a casino that has all of it.

Indeed, casinos can be attractive in their own ways because of course, they have unique things to offer to you. The experience in each casino website will hit differently no matter how many similarities they have. The reason is because the vibes are different from one another, the processes, interface, and the community in that particular casino, and like you said, the odds and the return to player percentage the house has set.
1203  Economy / Gambling / Re: Researching for Upcoming Game on: January 16, 2023, 01:11:32 PM
I'm glad to hear that you and your team are developing a crypto/blockchain game with big prize potential. The crypto gaming/gambling community can certainly benefit from new and exciting games.

  • Some current pain points in the crypto gaming/gambling space include: lack of regulation and oversight, which can lead to issues such as fraud and lack of trust; slow and high transaction fees on the blockchain; and lack of user-friendly interfaces and ease of use.
  • Players would like to see more games with big prize potential, more secure and trustworthy platforms, better user experiences, and more transparency in terms of game rules and fairness.
  • What makes one game fun to play can vary from person to person, but some common factors include: a good user interface and user experience, a variety of games, fair and transparent rules, and a sense of community.

Lack of regulation and being complacent of the casino can really be a source of concern. This could lead to different unforeseen issues such as having problem with how the casino operates and how it can be maintained to be operating. Once the players felt this, this will urge them to find another casino to cater their needs and security. The processing time, fee and the ease of transactions inside the platform will definitely be a deal breaker as well. The hassle and inconvenience is not a good thing to offer after all.

Players love casinos that are offering quality games and services. The user interface is essential. The complexity of navigation of the website or application should be tolerable even by beginners to entice more players to take a look and try. Promotions are one way to garner players, but retaining them requires a lot more effort. I guess there are threads related to this topic here in forum. Perhaps you might try to search containing the keywords. But overall, these are the things I agree with and most probably other players especially the regulars will agree as well.[/list]
1204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Miss Universe 2023 betting. on: January 16, 2023, 12:39:50 PM
I just searched about betting odds on miss universe and it turns out this has been a thing for years already. It's surprising that there's even a betting sites that offer this aside from casino games and sportsbetting. Although I just so a few and I really don't know whether those suggested websites are reliable or not since most of them are unfamiliar to me. I guess, the betting side of this pageantry is much more common on local community rather in crypto gambling sites given its category.

Despite having knowledge in pageants, you can merely rely on your intuition here because the data of each women varies. Even if you knew that this candidate has a lot of potential in this particular field, there's a higher chance that she won't win because there is a criteria to be followed and the preferences and level of comprehension, understanding, and appreciation of each judge is different from one another.

But oh well, the Miss Universe result is already out and I hope you happen to find the betting site you were looking for to bet (and if you did, hopefully it was favorable though). Still, it's a win for each of the ladies because they had the chance to tell the world about their advocacies and showcase that they just don't possess beauty, but brain and compassion as well.
1205  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any Casino Android software on: January 16, 2023, 11:56:50 AM
In my opinion today 4/64GB is a minimum memory that any phone must have. Of course it doesn`t mean that we have to change our old phones right now, but if it is time to change phone - it is minimum that we must choose. And today i can`t say how long it would be enough. The problem we have that the programmers today doesn`t care about memory - they sure that the user has a good phone or he can change it.
It is impressive how standards can change so quickly, there was a time in which developers had to care a lot about the resources their programs were using and this meant they were very focused on creating code which was very efficient, but now they just assume that everyone has a good PC or phone to run the mess they coded, which is yet one more reason why I prefer to gamble on my web browser instead of using an app as I am not changing my phone just to install one or two apps that are too resource intensive.

This is because the word is dynamically changing and adapting in order to keep in pace with the current trends.

Way back, the specifications and qualities that have to be considered were comparatively low to what we have today. People innovate in proportion to what is in demand and of course, to suit the convenience and accessibility that many people are looking for in a product, services, or platform. For instance, the developers back then exert so much effort just to come up with codes that will build their games, websites, or platform. But right now, there are already many sources coders can refer to because it's already widely available. The compatibility isn't enclosed to certain gadgets now, but can be run through different gadgets as long as it is supported by the developer and operating system.

Be it website or application, people have the right to choose on where to play. It's just a matter of preferences in this case since no one is really forcing the other. If you want to be updated with the current specifications because of personal demands, then do it for yourself. Otherwise, just don't, if you don't really feel like you have to or you want to.
1206  Economy / Economics / Re: Does a side job/business improve your finanical stability ? on: January 14, 2023, 03:09:09 PM

What did you do or will you do in order to ensure your finanical stability despite all unfavorable circumstances ?

Make a lot of passive income as much as possible. But starting a business ain't that bad, especially if you are confident that your business will be running for a long time because it can adapt the current trends and future trends. A successful business will always depend on the owner, you must have a never ending idea to improve your business while it's growing to stay updated and your customers will be always happy to buy your products or services.
1207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Breaking RSA Encryption with Quantum Computer on: January 14, 2023, 01:24:24 PM
Quantum computer is a threat to cyber security, because it could be use to something bad or good, like massive security breaches all over the globe. But if the technology evolves the security also evolves, NIST is the one who are preparing for PQC to avoid such things, it is called quantum-resistant cryptographic standards, that must be adopted to prevent everything that could be gone wrong.
1208  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading With Borrowed Funds!!! on: January 14, 2023, 12:12:43 PM
I think it depends on the person who is borrowing funds.  Remember, trading is not gambling.  Trading has methods and ways to assure a good result in trading.  So if a person is a good trader, I do not think that it is a bad idea to borrow money to gain profit from a trade he knows he can get a profit with.  Actually, it is a good start for a good trader to establish his financing capability.  But still we should  still calculate our risk in doing so, if the risk is far better than the result then it is not advisable to borrow money for that trade.
there are certainly many ways of trading through textbooks technical analysis but then again sometimes the market condition isn't as simple as that and sometimes trading is somewhat gambling, I think it's always better using money that isn't borrowed funds so in worst case scenario if we lost money we just lost it, unlike with borrowed funds that have interests it will become massive problems overtime.

Correct.

And when that happens, you'll be pressure even more to make profits in a very hard market situation, like bear market where a lot of fake outs could happen. Then you'll borrow money again for you to pay the first money you borrowed, then it will just keep on going, unless you know a way out. But ideally, trading with your own money is much better, less burden just in case you lose it all.
1209  Economy / Gambling / Re: What sort of Weekly & Monthly Bonuses do Bitcointalk members want? on: January 14, 2023, 10:57:07 AM
Most of sign in reward requires deposit and wagering meaning this is not totally bonus but an obligation , though there are several site that lets us sign in and play for some spin for free yet most of those ended as scam sites or not having a fair gaming.

Bonus is not always free, even if there is deposit and wagering requirement, it is still called by bonus instead of obligation. I would prefer to see bonus for my gambling activity such as rakeback, level up bonus and other bonuses which is based on my own activity. Free bonus is good but most of the time it is not attractive due to its complicated rules behind the bonus.

and about loyalty? i cannot measure myself becoming loyal just because they gave me bonuses , instead how they treat me over the time i played.

How a casino treat us is obviously important thing and this is the main reason why gamblers stay in the casino for long time. Offering bonuses can be included in this "treat" because it is how casino try to give the best for players in all aspects.

Agree with this. Most bonuses have a condition to be met in order to utilize it fully. In most bonus promotions made by the casinos for new comers, welcome bonus has its terms such as wagering a specific amount first before you can enjoy your prize or withdraw it. In most cases, it isn't even worth it because bonuses are big enough to begin with. It could be a way to entice players, but if that's the only gimmick they'll put up to, the players will lose their interest slowly. Casino owners should still innovate such as giving weekly or monthly bonus depending on the total bets made, account activity, and the likes.

Putting up some reward could make a player stay especially if they are much into it. However, the quality of service in totality is the biggest factor to make a casino continually operating with more traffic.
1210  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your thoughts on revenge trading? on: January 14, 2023, 10:00:55 AM
~ what is your take on revenge trading?

Revenge trading is like running in the dark where you can't see anything, even when you hurt yourself, you just keep on running.

~ Do you think people intentionally go into revenge trading or is is just emotional?

It is emotional, of course. Revenge trading is triggered by continuous disappointing results after so many try, especially when you spent too much time studying and making technical analysis yet you still can't make profits.

~ what will you advise someone making series of losses ?

Stop for a while, focus on studying more after figuring out what seems to be the problem that cause you a lot of losses. Only enter a small trade to test out your new approach in trading, if it turns well, then start increasing the amount you trade. Newbies often trade on a randomly amount with high leverage, that's why they always get liquidated easily.

Making profits in trading takes time, if you don't have the patient, you'll definitely lose all your money no matter how many times you come back.
1211  Economy / Economics / Re: Americans are once again quitting their jobs at a growing rate on: January 13, 2023, 12:07:50 PM
Maybe it's because of what you have mentioned already, they can't pay their bills with their salary on their job. The problem is that most of the Governments around the world doesn't care about the increase of salary, and they don't also make a plan on how to fight the increasing prices of every products that we need in everyday lives, maybe they have, but always acting too late.

That's why maybe the americans quit their job, finding other opportunities outside their comfort zone.
1212  Economy / Economics / Re: What was your lowest point financially? How did you go through it ? on: January 13, 2023, 11:28:34 AM
Maybe when my father left us, my mom is the only one who raised us from the age of 10 until 20. We lived in a third world country so it is really hard for s single parent to raise two children with only a few bucks salary per day. But we went though, thanks to our mom who is a hardworking one. When I was 20 years old, I started earning Bitcoin and I return the favor to my mom. I started spoiling her, she likes money since we didn't have that much before and that makes her happy whenever I gave him money.

She didn't ask me for it, I just wholeheartedly wants to give her all the good things she deserves because all of what she's done just to raised us.
1213  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Many signals don't work now like they use to be on: January 12, 2023, 03:10:09 PM
It's not moving because that's how it works. Trading signals are not reliable, even if you paid to join those trading signal groups. Learn to trade by yourself, it's more better in the long run, rather than putting your luck on someone else that might be a not real pro trader but just pretending to be one to earn money from your subscriptions.
1214  Economy / Gambling / Re: What sort of Weekly & Monthly Bonuses do Bitcointalk members want? on: January 12, 2023, 02:08:29 PM
The weekly bonus can be in the form of a balance credited to the account. the amount certainly won't be too big, but enough to make the player continue the game. I think members who are entitled to receive a weekly bonus must meet certain conditions, such as being devoted to certain games.

and the monthly bonus, in my opinion, will be better suited to the percentage of the volume of bets made. This of course will require a certain rating or standard from the team. like the top 10 players with the biggest winning percentage. or total bets made in a monthly period.

Several casinos have implemented a monthly bonus for members who meet the criteria. this is a great way. if your casino will implement it, you only need to modify its implementation.

This is a good one.

Weekly bonuses could be given to those players who are very much engaging into variety of games or in one game in particular. The frequency of playing could be one of the basis in giving this bonus. If they will also reach a specific wagering amount, they could be entitled to this one just to boost their will to play over and over again due to rewards despite it being small.

Monthly bonuses could be given to those players with huge deposit and actually used amount in playing. Those players with highest time duration spent playing could be part of the condition too. Casinos could use ranking basis in monthly bonuses to sort out the players to be given rewards accordingly.
1215  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Too much uncertanity here it got be more sure here what i say on: January 12, 2023, 01:31:50 PM
You can't tell people here what to do, since we have our own decisions to make, because we have our own lives, own problems, and different financial status in life. If you can't make profits on your own in this kind of market, that's your own problem to solve, not tell people to do what you want to help you in your current situation. Once you entered the blockchain, you are on your own journey, be mature to accept what's gonna happen and what already happened, learn from it.
1216  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You Learn More from Losses than from Wins on: January 12, 2023, 12:58:37 PM
I think it depends.

I mean losing will slap you hard to wake up, either to study more or to quit, if you're doing everything you can to make profits in trading by studying and watching tutorials but still can't make profits, then you have to stop, but if it is the other way around, then continue.

Winning in trading makes you comfortable, you think you don't need to grow more but you need to if you want more profits in the long run, but if you're contented on the profits you're making, then it's still good.
1217  Economy / Gambling / Re: chinese bookmakers with tf gaming platform NO KYC on: January 11, 2023, 03:12:21 PM

There are some gambling sites with no KYC and that you can gamble and they are still reputable,
Such as which please?
Most of them doesnt require KYC on the time that you would really be making up some registration but into those terms and conditions that you agreed upon do state that they have the rights on asking out later
on the time that they would be seeing some suspicious actions made by your account and the worst whenever you do win big then this is the time that they would be asking up some questions which is something
not really that surprising for them to do so. This is why if we do speak about DEX then it would be particularly be pertaining on 3.0 but honestly people should really be that accepting on what we are currently
been using up today.Laws and regulations are something inevitable for us to be able to experience it out and as long these platforms are centralized then they are really that been following regulations.

There are numerous website that do this. It's a little tricky especially if you are not fond of reading. If you are one of most players that do not really read the terms of service because it's just too long, then most probably you are not aware that some casinos run like this.

Some casinos do not really require KYC in the beginning at the very least. This is because they are well-aware that not all gamblers are in favor with it. Which is the reason why some of them came up with a solution of just asking it whenever they deem necessary. In most cases, KYC are often asked when there's unusual activity on your account and when you plan to withdraw your winnings whether it may be big or small.

Most gambling sites now require KYC upfront and on the latter part. The gambling world is becoming more and more centralized. I don't know if it's a positive thing or not. But I guess it will depend on how we will view it according to our situation.
1218  Economy / Gambling / Re: What else should an established crypto casino add? on: January 11, 2023, 01:55:47 PM
Since this thread is here, I would like all casino owners to read it because it would be very nice if they could do an internal exchange in all casinos, so that the profits made in coins or bitcoin can be transferred to USDT without the need for having to move to other exchanges and having to trade to change it to a stablecoin or a currency pair that can be exchanged and then send it to another exchange to exchange it, because that brings a lot of expense, it is only a suggestion, and since we are in a moment where the market can go up or down, if the tariffs go up they will be very expensive and if they have the erc20 network it will be even more expensive.

This is a nice suggestion. Players no longer have to undergo the hassle and inconvenience of withdrawing the winnings and exchanging it just to acquire the currency they want. However, this also means that the casino will have to team up with an exchanger that can run inside the platform. Those people who avoid KYC will definitely not like this especially if it will be incorporated in a casino that don't require such. This is because the additional feature require to have access on personal information to continue the transaction. Although I just based the process on the currently running system exchange.

With this, expenses are still seen due to additional feature of the casino. Of course, they have to pay for establishing one if ever. A contract with the exchanger will require a huge amount. And if ever they'll decide to establish one of their own, it will still need a lot of fund. Hence, the expenses will still be evident since the players will shoulder this. Perhaps you could pay for lesser fee, then if that's the case, it's a win.
1219  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any Casino Android software on: January 11, 2023, 01:07:08 PM

But what are happening now? do you think it is safer for crypto gamblers to Download a casino apps instead of directly playing ? wrong , look at what are happening nowadays even old members here are being victim of hacking , I think it is not safe for anyone to download  apps while there are many ways to gamble without any hassle .

Some gamblers just prefer to use an application rather than playing in a website. This is a subjective matter. We have our own preferences after all. Those who want the easier access and convenience, they'll surely pick application over website. If they want a better interface which fits the screen of their phone or ipad, the application is the better choice. For those who aren't on their computers most of the time will benefit from having a downloaded application.

Meanwhile, for those gamblers who are spending most of their time in front of their personal computer and don't really like the idea of installing something on their gadgets, website is the better option. Some just prefer to bookmark and click, then play whenever they want because of the type of gadget they use. The website interface is what they are also after to which most of the gamblers are used to.

Hacking can always be prevented. It's not about the application, rather the precautions you take whenever downloading something. Some people just don't bother to double check what they are clicking so most of the time they fall victim to fake applications containing malware to access your main account.
1220  Economy / Gambling / Re: Researching for Upcoming Game on: January 11, 2023, 12:22:11 PM
I'd like to answer some of your questions. Hopefully this will help you in making an action plan.

1. Current pain points. I think one of the main concerns in most casino websites is the KYC verification. Some casinos require this in the very beginning, while the others only ask for it the moment you'll withdraw. For the latter scenario, keeping the players in the dark is really frustrating for the players. This is why sometimes you'll see rants and vents here regarding the withdrawal process.

2. What would you like to see? I guess I want to see more of skill based games rather than luck based ones which we have plenty in casino games.

3. What makes one game fun to play? The user interface really plays a huge role in engagement and satisfaction. For me, this is a deal breaker. I won't settle for something less than I want to see. Navigation is of importance to me too.

4. Who are some absolute degens in the space? I'm not really much a fanatic or a follower of whoever. I just typically scroll here in forum and see what's new. I just like to be updated but not totally inclined with being influenced by other popular and good players.

5. Aside from bitcointalk where else do you get news that you trust? I mainly rely in the content of the forum but aside from this I read articles from random but reliable pages. I make sure to validate everything I read so that i won't be misinformed.
