1081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: it will definetly save you on: February 25, 2023, 01:37:36 PM
Many newbie start without rules and always lose all their funds,
and many of you may want rules and tips for professional gambling
you need to follow this rules like robots to be successful in gambling
and if you are playing for enjoyment than you can enjoy without these rules

start here :
Gambling Lessons And Tips

What most of the people that lose big do is that they do not understand the earning frequency. They try to do the same with what they have done with 0.0001 BTC to 0.001 BTC to 0.1 BTC and some even more than that. Which definitely at the end lead to losing it all.

Here are some other things to keep in mind:

1. Keep it reasonable. Do not try to earn too much and later busting it all in some bets.
2. No earning is always better than losing it all.
3. When its not going in your favor, stop immediately.
4. Profiting daily is impossible. Do not lose all your balance just for the sake of it.
5. All the games are totally random and anything can happen so its best to stop your bets when you get a win anywhere between the safe and the max losing streak.
6. Do not wait for even one bet more than the max losing streak to cut of your bets you will lose 90% of the time and its best to completely avoid that big loss which happen at the end.
7. So for example on 3x Payout , the safe losing streak is 18 and the max losing streak is 24. So if you get a losing streak above the safe losing streak followed by a win stop your bets immediately.
8. Next time the long losing streak will be definitely more and you have no clue when it will cross the max losing streak.
9. Do not wait for that big payoff at the end after a long losing streak cut it off before it breaks your bankroll. Any bet amount above or close to a quarter of your balance will most of the time be a losing one.
Size your bets such that one or two wins will make you win more than what you have lost. Do not get too greedy.
10. The house is waiting for you to leave your game plan and end up in their game plan which is designed to drain your funds in the shortest possible time.
Stop immediately once your emotions get hold of you. Too much fear and too much greed are both equally dangerous.
11. Aim for a reasonable profit daily and never chase loses.
12. Hope this helps you in using the Player's Edge fully to your advantage to beat the house.
13. Most of the people in gambling set unrealistic goals most of the time like 2X 3x and more in the shortest time span possible. This impatient nature make them lose more and more.
14. No one has ever won by playing the chasing game. You will sink in more and more like getting yourself stuck in a quick sand.
15. people with fresh mindset is easily able to follow this rules, if you are in revenge phase(losed and trying to recover)then you need  to take a break then you may try but you losed little amount then i suggest to forget everything about gambling and never ever come back at this it ruined many peoples life.

this amazing site helped me a lot also my experience, i shared this because you don't need to waste you time reading all blogs: https://www.smartgamblingedge.com/

sorry i am weak at english
I am newbie on this forum only this doesn't determine my experience with gambling i tried but i m not going to play anymore than just for fun, never ever gamble for money it will eat you in long run .

I very much agree with gambling lessons or tips number 1 to 5.

Keeping yourself in check the moment you start playing will help you so much to have a smoother journey in gambling. If you will do your best in betting and playing to profit, make sure you'll follow your budget allocations to not go overboard. Because being greedy in winning and profit could lead to possible losses in the future if the drive to bet wasn't controlled to begin with. Discipline is essential. The time you win a big amount, do not be so greedy to grab for more and instead be contented and assess your situation whether to bet once more or make a full stop already to secure your winning.
1082  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Game that you suffer consistent losses but still keep playing? on: February 25, 2023, 11:34:42 AM
None.

If I played a game and it gives me consistent losses, I will not play it anymore as it will not be fun at all to play games that gives me consistent losses.
However I have to say that there is something that can be called as consistent in gambling, both for losses or wins.
Sometime we lose some other time we win although most of the time we get more losses than wins but I will not say it as consistent.

I have the same mindset as you.

If I suffer many losses from a game, I lose my will, determine, and interest in playing it. This is because I don't want to burden and stress myself from something I can totally control. Stressing over a thing you can do something about is futile when you can act instead of dwelling on it and straining your mental health.

Way back, I convinced myself to play a specific NFT game even though I'm not really not into it just because it can pay well. But eventually, I lost my interest and totally stopped because there's no point in forcing yourself to play when you don't feel like it. Especially the moment you suffer from consecutive losses. It's just stressful and it could really make you go out of mood and feel bad vibes all the day, affecting those people around you as well.
1083  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you keep your gambling habit under control? on: February 25, 2023, 10:54:31 AM
First off, set up a specific limitation and boundary for yourself. Be obliged to follow the rules and limit you have set so you won't go overboard. Practicing self discipline will be a tedious task, but eventually you'll get used to it and you'll just find yourself doing it over and over without exerting much effort on your end.

Set up budget allocation for your gambling expenditures. Just make a specific amount that you can afford to lose or just your spare money. Never spend money your money that is intended for other purposes in gambling because winning isn't guaranteed after all.

Take a break every after betting. Whether win or loss, take a pause and assess yourself if you are still in the right mental headspace or not to bet again or play again. Do not chase winnings after winnings and after losses as well. Chasing more wins because of desperation could cost you so much you can regret later on.
1084  Economy / Economics / Re: To cut financial ties with original family benefits you in the long run on: February 24, 2023, 02:01:04 PM
Asking for help from parents when the need arises is normal. But staying financially dependent on them even in adulthood is simply irresponsible. The parents could also take part of the blame. Some parents cannot take it that their adult children are having a hard time. They willingly continue to support them. As a result, their children's behavior is reinforced. Parents instantly coming to their children's aid all the time may sound good, but it could also be dangerous as their children might not grow independent. They might not be able to try find ways to survive.

I definitely agree with this.

Sometimes their daughters and sons are the problem, sometimes it is the parents. It is either the kid was spoiled so he grew up as a spoiled brat doing whatever he wants because he knew his parents would always back him up or the parents made a lot of children to make it as their investment plan, like they are all obligated to give their salaries to their parents after they graduated in college and got a job. This kind of cycle never ends, it needs to be stop by those kind of families and kids.
1085  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving is Wasting? on: February 24, 2023, 11:58:20 AM
Saving is not wasting, but wasting the money you save on things that you only wants is a different thing. If you are dedicated to finish your study, then do it, if you're not happy with it then stop it, find what makes you happy instead. I'm not against having a degree to find a great job but sometimes it is not for everyone. A diploma alone can't guarantee you a great future if you don't know how to apply it in your real life.

And having no diploma doesn't also mean that your life is already wasted. It all depends on you, on how you're going to find something outside the box, like starting a business or maybe start being a freelancer. Trust me, online jobs pays a lot without asking too much educational requirements, so always go out from your comfort zone. Don't be afraid to try new things.
1086  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can Bitcoin afford to buy on: February 24, 2023, 08:24:55 AM
I, myself still prefer to convert it first before buying something, whether it is online or not. For me buying using fiat is much safer and does have insurance rather than using Bitcoin to buy things online. The scenario that I am thinking is that you cannot reverse the transaction once it is done, and what if a certain store that accepts Bitcoin as a payment did a mistake like giving you a wrong address on an incomplete one, then you complaint about it but they say there is nothing they can do since it was an accident or something else, so you ended up wasting those Bitcoin for nothing, something like that.
1087  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how do I keep my private key safe? on: February 24, 2023, 06:19:02 AM
No, storing them online is definitely not recommended. Instead, you can create a paper wallet (make sure to encrypt the private key), print it, and then hide it.

I agree.

Also OP can add up riddles, unique and hard ones that only he can figure so just in case someone accidentally found his keys on wherever he stores it, they will not think it is a private key and probably will just ignore it because they think it's just some kind of worthless piece of paper. Me, personally do the same thing but I don't use riddles, I made up my own tricks so that I can always make sure that my private keys are completely safe.
1088  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Do You Feel Less Safe? on: February 24, 2023, 05:36:17 AM
Don't store all the eggs in just one basket, and as long as you're using a hardwallet or cold wallet, rest assure it is safe as long as you keep your private keys safe as well. Don't also brag in social medias or from your friends that you're storing Bitcoins to avoid thieves, trust no one but yourself, keep your Bitcoin to yourself and sell it when the time comes when you're completely satisfied of the price.
1089  Economy / Economics / Re: Untouchable Savings: Do you have it? on: February 23, 2023, 02:05:37 PM
There is a huge difference between untouched savings and untouchable savings.

Rational people will have, if they can afford it (!), some savings they will not touch unless something big and bad happens. Does this means they'll die before spending all their money? Yes, and it's fine. Having a certain peace of mind has its costs.

Untouchable savings is imho stupidly risky. They have their purpose in case of people with certain addictions, but it's something that has to be treated with extreme attention. It's more advisable to allow other (trusted!) person/entity take care of those savings than lock them and make them untouchable, since if a health issue comes up, one may need that money, but may not be able to touch it.

I couldn't agree more.

Untouched savings for me is the emergency fund, that will only be spend when an emergency happens, obviously, but that doesn't mean that I will not have any more money in my wallet or bank account. While untouchable savings from me I believe is the savings that we think that is not worthy to be spend on anything because it could be use in something more worthy in the future but the reality is that the owner don't want to spend it, like it is just a display in its storage.
1090  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading season? on: February 23, 2023, 01:10:21 PM
For me it's not about lucky days 100% since we always make technical analysis to increase our chances of making profits in trading. So it is a combination of luck and good analysation based on your technical analysis. If you're good at trading, every single day is a trading season for you, and if you're not, then most likely it is all about losing profit season, simple as that.
1091  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is trading good for beginners? on: February 23, 2023, 07:46:48 AM
I'm confused about the question.

Like, everyone who just started trading is a beginner, even professional traders was once a beginner. But here's my take about this matter. Trading is not gonna be profitable unless you're willing to risk everything just to make yourself at the level where you could make profits. Trading is not a short term process, it is a very long term process depending on how much efforts you're putting to make yourself grow as a trader.

If you're thinking it could make anyone rich overnight, it is not. It's not that easy, it is complicated.
1092  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you appreciate more Desktop or Phone on: February 22, 2023, 03:31:12 AM

Desktop des have a clean and wide screen for gamers to have good interface of there bet and easily move around without stress. Desktop has lots of advantage compared to phone but many will still prefer to use a phone because of the easier movable convinence it gives to users. There are some bet we might be making that will require us to use a gadget that has a wide screen so we can see clearly without any need stressing our eyes to get a hold of how the game is moving. So many reasons why some persons still stick to desktop for this.

Desktop and mobile device have their pros and cons. You just have to weigh both before actually deciding which one is best suitable for you. After all, not everyone has the capacity to buy both. So if you belong to those budgetarian gambler, you really have to pick and choose only one to follow your financial allocations avoiding overspending in the process, yet achieving the suitable device for you to work on.

Desktop can be a lot pricier compared to a mobile phone so some gambler who are still on a tight budget commonly opt for getting a mobile phone for gambling and betting instead. With phones, the ease of carrying around offering convenience to the user is maximized which is a good thing for frequent moving player. However, it doesn't offer a good and wide view of the website so it could be a challenge. Meanwhile, desktop offers wider range of display which could be beneficial for gamblers. The ease of usage and navigation is offered because you can clearly do and view anything and even multitask while playing or betting.
1093  Economy / Gambling / Re: STARTING OWN CRYPTO GAMBLING SITE on: February 22, 2023, 02:45:42 AM
nobody want to take the risk of making bets in a casino where they will not be able to get there money back after winning or after try to make withdrawals. Everyone want to bet on a casino where they will be receiving consistent bonus whether they are on the winning or losing side.

Every gamblers has the aim to make more money but we might not be lucky enough to get what we want quickly based on how the system is program and our own luck. Luck is very necessary here to keep making winnings because some casinos might not be too happy for us that keep having consistent profits.

If you are the type of gambler who is after the profit and winnings, most likely you'll really want to have consistent bonuses because after all, that can help to at least play few rounds for free or on the house. There are also gamblers that are after the entertainment, but of course, despite liking playing for the sake of past time or for the sake of enjoyment, they will still find fulfilment and satisfaction the moment they win. After all, those winnings could be their additional budget for betting and playing once more. And it's really fun playing then eventually win because it'll mean your hard work and effort paid off.

Being lucky is one way to win the game or bet. And checking the RTP is the next thing to at least safeguard a specific rate or chance of winning in the span of time and frequency you are playing in a casino.
1094  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: February 22, 2023, 02:05:52 AM
Without a doubt that is coming, however the accuracy of an AI is determined by the quality of the information that it receives and in that respect the casinos have a decisive advantage over the players.

So I think it will come the time in which it will be incredibly difficult for sport bettors to find attractive odds, and only those which concentrate on arbitrage betting are going to have any chance to make profits at all as AI gets better over the years.

Indeed. AIs are only dependent on the information it has at its disposal. The timeliness and relevance of the information it receives is important to the whole decision making and its prediction of the outcome. If for instance, the information and AI have isn't updated or is lacking, there's a high chance that you'll lose your bet dependent on the AI result. This is why if ever you really plan to use one in the future, you have to verify and still double check.

Using AI could mean better percentage of winning to some, but let's admit it that it doesn't guarantee a win so you should still learn how to decipher and read the situation. AI can be helpful to influence our decision making, but do not solely rely on it. You still have to at least possess some knowledge about what you are betting for, in order for you to have higher chance in winning.
1095  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sports betting fraud in Brazil 😦 on: February 22, 2023, 01:34:39 AM
It's so saddening that this still happens. Fixed matches is really common despite it being considered as cheating. And many people still do this even though it's not really legal and has repercussions with it. It's not only in Brazil, but in almost every part of the world, even in online games, NFTs and the likes, there are fixed matches. But it's still disappointing that people resort to do such thing just for the sake of money. They set aside their morals for an amount they can earn because they prefer the easy way instead of doing hard work.

If this happens in somewhat large scale, what more in small scale sportsbetting and gambling, right? Most likely it's rampant in local gambling and betting and perhaps they might even have organizers for fix matching for events like this to guarantee a win and a winning prize. Hopefully, this will be eliminated, but I doubt it can be done easily as it's rooted and has become a habit already.
1096  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Do Gamblers Do This? on: February 22, 2023, 12:48:07 AM
In this forum and other forums where gambling is one of the topics of discussion, one of the recurrent topics is people who write about how their gambling addiction has ruined their lives. We usually encounter topics like "Gambling ruined my life,"  "I lost all my life savings to gambling,"  "I gambled away my entire salary," etc. Then they go on to tell a sad tale. It makes me wonder: why do gamblers tend to wait until they have suffered a catastrophic loss or a string of losses before quitting or seeking help?

Gamblers don't often notice they are already falling slowly into addiction. Most gamblers fail to notice because they don't even acknowledge it to begin with. They don't want to entertain the fact that they are falling into addiction which is often the main causes of why prevention isn't done and possible - because the patient himself who needs help is in denial. In addition it's al fun and games until you run out of money, so it's possible that they also fail to notice until there's nothing much left of them.

It's just unfortunate how this thing goes on and on. But it's the reality we have to deal with. Although I just hope there would be gambling awareness so that the players won't delve so much in gambling if they don't possess the discipline needed in order to prevent themself from being dependent on gambling.
1097  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: February 21, 2023, 03:30:41 PM

I never imagined gambling using a lot of money like him because the risk I would receive would also be big. Indeed, when we win the game, our profits will be greater because we use large capital. But on the other hand, our defeat will also be great and maybe many of us will not be able to accept it. And since that person has lost so much money, we hope he doesn't get frustrated and choose a shortcut to end his life. Maybe he can overcome his grief after losing a lot of money or he may still have a lot of other money.

This is right. The higher the amount you bet, the higher the risk. But the higher the rewards as well if you get lucky. Although you really have to put in your mind to just bet moderately because nothing is ever certain. Despite having a high odds, it isn't guaranteed that you will win so you still have to be cautious in placing a bet. Making haste decisions will certainly cost you so much later on. If you won't be able to control yourself and limit your expenditures in gambling, there's a chance you'll lose an amount you can afford to let go, which could make you regret big time later on.

Grieving from losses is a process not everyone has the same pacing, so one must really take his time to recover fully before playing and betting again. Having a stable emotions and healthy mental headspace will let you think properly and decide properly. If this will be skipped, there would be a high chance that you will incur more and more losses soon after.
1098  Economy / Gambling / Re: What do you appreciate more Desktop or Phone on: February 21, 2023, 02:50:57 PM
Playing device are important one for sometimes, because of the display size. When you play with pc with good graphics card, surely you will have good fun for sure. The experience of gambling on pc,iPad and IMac will be impressive one.The effects will differ from various devices for sure.My preference will be always pc with graphics card. But I had start the gambling with mobile phone and build the game to this level for now. From my earning,I keep buy of new devices.I had personal pc with graphics card,IPad and IMac.

Indeed. Most gamblers, if not all, are also after the graphics not just the performance of the device. This is why those gamblers who can afford to buy a high end device that they could use in the comforts of their homes prefer to buy a good desktop or even build one of their own that will cater their needs and wants at the same time. High specification in terms of processor and graphics is important especially if they are often playing and betting. Having this will make their life much easier and enjoyable. Surely, those who are after the fun are considering this to satisfy themselves. After all, having good graphic display is pleasing to the eyes.

1099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Give it a break. on: February 20, 2023, 12:12:44 PM
It's really the best decision for yourself to refrain from gambling even more the moment you experience consecutive losses. It's not wise for someone to continue betting after experiencing loss after loss because you'll just incur more and more failed bets in the long run due to having little mental headspace and tolerance to win. Your emotions will fluctuate and you'll eventually feel tilted which could affect your decision-making and strategy in betting.

The best time to continue gambling is after calming yourself. The moment you have full control over your emotions and actions wherein your mind isn't clouded to make judgments anymore is your cue to try gambling again. Of course, still take not of your budget allotment in gambling to not go overboard and regret later.
1100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The History of Bingo on: February 20, 2023, 09:33:36 AM
Not sure though if there is a casino that listed bingo in their platform.

But here in our country, bingo games is very popular as it is being played when there is like a an event with festivities (fiesta). Yes, another kind of games that is so fun and exciting specially during last games that we call "blackout" wherein you have to marked all the numbers in your cards.

I'm not a fan of this game though to be honest.  Grin

There are now online platforms that has bingo game in their website. There are even applications you can download to play it in your mobile device. It's widely played even internationally since I've seen few sites catering in UK and US. Here in our country, it's also popular and is mostly played by the elders as their past time. It is often played physically by those small time and street gamblers, but there are also gamblers that prefer to play it in device to lessen interaction and just to entertain themselves.

I've tried to play this way back, but that was ages ago. I believe it's much better to play with friends altogether gathered in one place because the fun is just on another level once you are the first to say you win.
