The stock market is rallying and Bitcoin is seeing a slow slide downward. I’ll admit, this is not the movement I was hoping for. It does feel like markets are returning to normal again though. Cheering wars and bad economic news in the hopes the printing press is about to be fired up while rates get slashed. The world is addicted to easy money.

Obviously holders have a long time preference and traders are trying to get rich quick. The crazy thing is that even knowing Bitcoin is the greatest performing asset in human history, people still want to trade it instead of holding it. Even with all the billionaires holding has created and all the people who lost everything trading, people still think they’re going to trade themselves to wealth, missing out on doing so by not holding.

That Chet and Victor showdown. Honestly, it's like that I've just watched two thin tall guys which is the actuality of it. Well, they're still young and there will be more muscle build up in the coming months for sure. I don't care about the result of their match as that was just a preseason game. While Victor was able to play just after being draft, Chet took a year for him to start playing because he got injured last season even before the start of it.
That highlight of Victor flexing on Chet went viral on the internet last night. It even got a Twitter response from Chet who called Victor’s unstoppable move the head butt. His post had something like 50,000+ likes last time I saw it and I think he was right on. The league looks ready to give Victor the superstar treatment and let him get away with fouls.

My takeaway after watching a recap of the Lakers vs Nets matchup was that Ben Simmons looked really good. He was even attacking the basket. A completely different player from last year. We’ll see how his season goes… Anthony Davis also looked great on both ends. LeBron is still LeBron and Austin Reeves is going to be getting a lot of shots this year…

Somewhat interesting that Bitcoin didn’t move much today even with the stock market seeing a rally on war news.

McGregor fighting in April once he gets all the drugs out of his system. Finally. Will be interesting to see how this fight goes. I’m expecting it to not be a typical fight. It’s been so long, it is either going to go really well or really bad for Conor.

Though even it's not 48.5 but 54.5 wins with Giannis and Dame still realistic to happen, if you love to spare money in risking into something this kind of bet might attract you. Early pick that will allow you to place your future bet, if things turn good for the Bucks. I mean, if Dame will support Giannis as the main alpha of the team and put everything to his new team. The chance of winning that pick is very possible. Ya, that’s the reason I was shocked with ESPN saying their number was 48.5. I think they easily hit that and wouldn’t be shocked if they won 60 games. Looks like I’ll be getting my first look of the new Phoenix Suns on Tuesday night. For some reason I got an ad on HBO (MAX) saying the game would be televised there. We’ll see…

I’m a bit surprised that with the new war popping up suddenly Bitcoin continues to maintain its price. I guess we’ll have to see how international markets perform tomorrow morning, but I imagine there aren’t too many people who think war is good news, except Lockheed Martin and maybe a few others. I’m watching and trying to learn…

If I had to sum up the Joe Biden White House Administration giving a single example it would be this. Joe Biden has been against the border wall his entire term. Last month he sold off $300 million dollars worth of border wall supplies for $2 million dollars. This month he’s decided we need a border wall, so he’s now going to have to buy back the $300 million in supplies. You can’t make this up. They’re intentionally destroying America. Wake up!

Early reports are that the first Cybertruck has officially been sold at auction for $400,000. The Cybertruck was being auctioned off by the Petersen Museum. You can see some footage of the auction that has been posted on X by user @greggertruck by following the link I’ve posted below: https://x.com/greggertruck/status/1710877291201610199

ESPN has said they are predicting the Milwaukee Bucks to win 48.5 games next year. What do people think about that? Personally, I think they win at least 50 games next year and maybe even 60. Lillard is a beast to have on your team alongside Giannis. While it may not be as good as the Curry/Giannis duo we all want to see, it is the next best thing.

Bitcoin is currently holding up pretty well considering the world is about to see yet another expensive war. I’m not sure if the reason is because the news isn’t widespread enough yet, people are seeking shelter in Bitcoin, or this just isn’t an event that is going to move the price. I suspect this could turn into a much bigger event then it is currently though.

Will this (re)emerging conflict fuel a new war and worsen the global economic situation?
I don’t know about worsening the global economic situation. The added pressure of another war will more likely force the Fed to lower rates and the Government to begin issuing stimulus in order to keep this from sending us into a deep recession. Fighting a war on two fronts is going to really put our currency to the test. In other words, we are so screwed, but war spending will allow us to kick the can further down the road again.

This is probably the last thing America needed right now. Printing money at unbelievable rates to fund a proxy war against Russia and now we’re about to enter into a proxy war with Iran. I had hoped the world would give us a pass and wait until Biden was out of office before doing anything crazy, but it appears our enemies are taking advantage of America’s weakest and most senile President ever.

Looks like we’re going to see Chris Paul play today for the Warriors. The season is just around the corner. I’ll have to check and see if there’s any way for me to watch the game. I suspect there isn’t, so I’ll probably have to catch the highlights on YouTube later. I’m not expecting much after Kyrie’a performance the other day, but real basketball is coming!

I always think of Trendon Shavers as the original whale. I remember when he was moving the market with all the BTC he controlled to try and earn 1% per day of gains. It worked well until it didn’t. I believe in that case it was the guys at bitpay that ended up being the bigger whale and causing trendon to take massive losses.

Even Joe Rogan is now saying that Bitcoin is the best chance at a global currency. I think it won’t be long before we see another bubble type scenario in Bitcoin’s price. All the stars are aligning for 2025 to be another bubble year with gains that surprise the hell out of everyone. After the last cycle, we’re overdue for a monster rally.

To be fair we are all satoshi. More seriously, I’m sure everyone on that list probably had some financial reason to claim to be satoshi. I don’t think anyone would shame themselves with public lies otherwise. We’re seeing the final result of this claim now with the lawsuits surrounding Craig Wright and it isn’t pretty.

One standout thing I've seen from the Bitcoin billionaires is that, they had money to sustain themselves despite having their investment in Bitcoin. That's why it was possible that they could lose everything if bitcoin had gone to zero and still be fine. Compared to the average investor who has to take profit at every swing that the price does to the upside for life's expenses, etc.
The best thing to do is to learn from this and just save up some money for more opportunities that will come in the future.
If they’re taking profit at every swing as you describe, then they aren’t investors, they’re traders. While Bitcoin does attract traders due to it’s 24/7 nature, mostly those traders enrich exchanges, who then blow all the money on salaries and office buildings while losing their customer funds on pump and dump schemes. The glory of Bitcoin is that you can buy and hold your own BTC. If everyone does that, we all get rich. That’s sort of the name of the game now.
