2161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: November 30, 2015, 05:06:17 AM
I use 1.65x martingale some time on dice and it works well...
But you always need to be careful!!

I dont think 1.65x martingale is a great multiplier on it. It just depends on your luck when it comes to dice game. What I can say it 2x multiplier is the best thing to do. Because if you win it will double it. Let say base 1btc 2x you will get 2 btc then if you lose you will only lose 1btc. If you use 1.65x you win 0.65 but if you lose you will lose 1btc, it is not worth to bet like that. You need at least bet 2 times to double it and it will double your chances to lose

That is not an issue at all. Let's say if your bet multiplier is m, you should increase your bet size by a factor of 1/(m-1) upon a losing bet when you want to get a fixed profit upon a winning bet.
For example, for a multiplier of x2, you should increase your bet size by 100%; for x3, the increase should be 50%; for x1.5, it should be 200%; and for x1.65, it should be 154%.

The only issue of it (and all variations of martingale) is you will eventually hit a long enough losing streak and lose all your balance.

this is just a logic when it comes to martingale talks here. When you are going for real I dont think that you have enough balance to cover your loss thats why Im saying 2x multiplier is the best because although you used 3x or 4x that is the result on martingale by keep double your balance to win

The 2x multiplier still doesn't help. You will eventually hit the bet/win cap and then you're screwed. Whether you have 50 billion BTC or not is irrelevant -- the sites themselves will keep this from being viable.
2162  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the safest and simplest way to keep bitcoins? on: November 30, 2015, 05:04:52 AM
BTC Trezor wallet would be the best option, but with 4 USD I think Blockchain will be enough good. BTC Trezor hardware wallet is as far as I know the safest BTC wallet  Wink
I agree BTC Trezor is one of the best option but it still depends on how much do you need to store

Keep in mind that BTC could go up in value, and having that secured is still of importance. Not to mention if you plan to get more deeply invested later, it's better to secure everything now, rather than later.
2163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: when your out of btc on: November 30, 2015, 04:44:58 AM
Pretty easy for me I just withdraw them the transfer fee makes me not want to deposit quickly again xD

The majority of sites don't charge fees to withdraw, and wallets like Xapo and Coinbase even pay the fees when you send funds. So this is a nonfactor in 99.9% of the cases.
2164  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is there a Site where u can bet coins on E-Sport ? on: November 30, 2015, 04:43:02 AM
Here are a few sites I know accept bets on esports with bitcoins.Good Luck

https://nitrogensports.eu/

http://www.bitcoingg.com/

https://egb.com/news/bitcoin

I wouldn't trust anything on bitcoingg.com. They still owe me money for past work I did with them (they were paying on time for months and then cut contact all of a sudden). As such, they're shady, at best.

But still you are wearing their signature Cheesy.

Huh? Bitcoingg doesn't even have a signature campaign that I'm aware of. I have no idea what you're talking about...
2165  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit.com -- The Social Gambling Game (formerly moneypot.com) on: November 30, 2015, 03:14:37 AM
This is just a heads up. I've been waiting for more then 2.5 hours for a withdraw to confirm. I'm posting the txid to see if anybody can see why its taking so long.

txid: e5a361b7da376bcf7f9575e1a16414faac6261f850740dabf9d9f6c0f1b445ed

I think I've explained it already a couple times why on support, but it's because after that transaction was sent a flux of new transactions have come in with higher priority, and backlogged it. I promise you'll get your money, and I even created a conflicting transaction for you with an *extremely* high fees:
https://live.blockcypher.com/btc/tx/c0c364ec8bfee5059f6cb4a3fe1578643ce5bce43b2f5510d25822364732ff59/

There's nothing else I can do, and you just need to be patient, and I promise you'll get your money.

Incidentally, once 0.12 bitcoin comes out, this will be supported much better and won't be a problem.

I just want to say... this is ridiculous (not you, the backlog). 0.002+ BTC fee on a somewhat small (byte-wise) transaction and after 7 hours it still has ZERO confirmations? Wow...

Gambling is a game for me , If I lose and lost all,no problem ,I have dollar.

This is the way to look at it. View it as an entertainment expense. No different than spending $100 at a nice restaurant, theme park, movie night, etc. Plan to lose it all (like you would with any of those other events) and if you come out ahead, it's just a bonus.
2168  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling on: November 30, 2015, 03:03:19 AM
The brands names in this thread are loyal ones, but always read objective reviews and news about the brands.
As you can see, some recommendations are sponsored and uses Affiliate links

FYI

Completely agree with this guy. I do objective reviews of sites on Cryptoplace that are based on objective information (and personal opinions are pretty clearly marked). It's still being added to but it's got a decent amount of information as it is.
2169  Economy / Gambling / Re: ~~:: BitsPoker :: High stakes online Bitcoin Poker ::~~ on: November 30, 2015, 01:58:02 AM
Okay, I haven't checked out the action yet because there's still a few questions about this site running through my mind.  You say it is for high stakes professionals....right?  Is your site compatible with HM2 or Poker Tracker?
If not, is there any compatible database software we can use or heads up displays available that we can monitor our own statistics with on your site to insure its accuracy?

I don't believe any UIs are available. It runs on the Mavens software, though, so anything that works on Mavens should work there. And it's definitely in the higher-stake area -- there are tons of players bringing multiple BTC to the tables.
2170  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: [ANN] MinerFarm - Virtual Mining Game for Real Bitcoin on: November 29, 2015, 06:55:10 PM
Hi there,

We reviewed feedbacks and updated the system for the best interest of our players. From now on, if player does not login to game for 3 days, all the PSUs will pause and there will be no electricity cost.

Regards

What happens to those that have been away for weeks and have lost everything? Is there any sort of reimbursement?

Hi there, Miner Farm has been designed to keep players login continuously. All the fees and system planned for that. And Miner Farm has right to remove fees, add extra fees, decrease or increase fee amounts anytime.

Electrity fee was working as intended, it was not an error or mistake, and no harm can be considered as well. We evaluated the feedback and decided to pause electricity fees after 3 days as a good intention.

We always consider user interest, but we also have to keep the website running. For that purpose, we may activate the electricity fee in the future again but this is not our plan at the moment.

Regards

Was this clearly stated on the site anywhere? I don't recall seeing that even after the systems were shut down (i.e., using no electricity, even as per the UI) you were being charged for the thing not being used.
2171  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How many people were scammed on Bitcoin Black Friday? on: November 29, 2015, 06:53:30 PM
I keep repeating, this anonymity s the single worst trait BTC has to offer. I really do not know why Satoshi implemented this. It hurts people and crypto much more then it brings any good.

If people would do their own due diligence, this wouldn't be an issue. If some stranger on the street came up to you in a cloak and said "If you give me $300, I'll give you $600 in stuff. Just let me have a few days and I'll get back to you" would you do it? If not, you shouldn't do it online, either.

You're right but in the end whenever you spend BTC, you will have to trust someone and most of the time it will be a stranger online, either that be a service provider, escrow, product website or else how will you spend your btc?

Maybe as some of the exchanges/service providers are asking for KYC from the customers, the customers should ask for more legal information about them and get it verified somehow before using their services and so if they decide to fraud, you can atleast file a legal complaint about them. And maybe that'll stop some of these scams if not all. Without some kind of regulation, this is just getting too easy for these fuckers.

There are plenty of publicly-known entities running BTC-related businesses. Would you go buy a new set of speakers from a guy at midnight just standing on the corner with a sign? Probably not. So don't do it online.
2172  Economy / Gambling / Re: FastDice.com Launching ➽ Demo Mode on: November 29, 2015, 09:17:25 AM
i bet max each bet and got an over limit. what is that admin ?

How could you deposit or get that much coins ? it is in Beta mode and nothing is real i assume .
It's unbelievable if you made that from 100k faucet.

i start it from a sign up bonus and i turned it into that balance

The sign up bonus is 1 BTC so it is not really amazing to see that number.
Multiplying it to 5x doesn't seems amazing to you ? generally it would be excellent if you just double it .
let's wait for the real Mode.Smiley

You could bet the entire amount at 20% and win (with a 1/5 chance) so... not really. All it takes is luck.
2173  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: GoldenTown's Community Thread: Drama Free Scam Free on: November 29, 2015, 08:28:10 AM
I used to be one of the core testers for this game, as to their previous one, and was invited on their follow up (Pipstycoon, which I declined). Just a little note, to anyone planning on investing in this game:

The guys behind Goldentown, are the same that were behind Anno1777. Anno1777 was quite a successful site with over 50.000 daily active players, yet they managed to reduce that number to less than 1.000. There's quite a story behind that, yet since the site has been sold to a loyal player, I won't tread into details.

Most of the money generated in Goldentown, prior Anno1777 and now also Pipstycoon, ends up in the pockets of a select few. I won't disclose them, yet the pattern is easy to find. There is a certain, well, "business model" behind these sites. Which, made me leave them.

Regarding Goldentown, I can tell you that the claim they are stating that it is backed by real gold, is utterly false.
There is no gold, not a single troy ounce. Never has, at least not in terms of real gold.

My advice, should you plan to invest, is just to be cautious  Wink

I'd love to hear your insider information on this. And of course the gold isn't backing the site. It's not feasible to keep shaving off 0.0001 oz or whatever their minimum is every x period of time. Thinking otherwise is asinine.
2174  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitGame | Get Free .007mB on Provably Fair Games, Earn Rewards & Win Gift Cards. on: November 29, 2015, 08:25:41 AM
I will try this site, it would be nice if you had the "temporary account" feature other sites have (so that, if you do not like the game(s), you simply do not claim the account).
We would think about this, but the main features of our platform, like leagues system, achievements, bonuses and other rewards requires the account to save user progress, so in order to have the best experience user needs to sign up  Smiley

Not trying to promote competition here but Crypto-Games does this without needing an account. They have a secure URL you can enter through and can save so you can always enter the account. A few other sites do it, too, like Nitrogen Sports. So you could implement something fairly easy into your platform, Smiley.

Now then... do you happen to have an investment platform going (on a market, private, etc.) for your site?

I am not sure what you consider to be a good return, but I use bter.com as a small holding area for some coins and they return a 10% approx annual interest rate on the BTC balance.  Pretty much no better than a savings account.

Yes, I know this. An excellent opportunity. Halley BTC provides 17%. However, there s always that risk of being scammed. Chinese exchange and Chinese mining operation.

I've never even heard of this one before... do you know how long they've been around? Or did you mean HaoBTC?
2177  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: [ANN] MinerFarm - Virtual Mining Game for Real Bitcoin on: November 29, 2015, 08:09:12 AM
wait so if I cant do it for a couple weeks and I pause it I will lose all my satosh to fee's? ugh

As far as I can tell, the only fee was electricity. That said, read my quote above from where Aliser just stated that this has been changed (no electricity fee). The question now is what's being done about those of us who were harmed in the meantime.
2178  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Converting BTC, mBTC, cBTC, μBTC and Satoshi on: November 29, 2015, 06:30:38 AM
Dear All,

to support the community in conversion of bitcoin units we had implemented a simple website CalcBitcoin. The new site should support you in any question regarding bitcoin units. Fit currencies as USD, EUR and CAD are supported, too.

We are open and happy to get any feedback or requests to improve our service.

The tognella.com team

While I like what you did/attempted to do, I think things like dBTC and cBTC are only going to confuse people. Not to mention these have never been used (to my knowledge) in the Bitcoin world. You need to add "bits," too.

Received and played good casino. Didnt know this site until today.

Confirming that I played through mine. As a heads-up to everyone, if you want to withdraw winnings, you must have an address you have the private key for (as you have to sign a transaction to add it to your account and withdraw).

Confirmed. I pm them twice and did not reply my message.

Be patient. It was about a day before I got mine. Give him time, Smiley.
