2221  Economy / Gambling / Re: MoneyPot.com :: The bitcoin gambling wallet on: November 27, 2015, 09:10:24 PM
My main concern as an app owner is will the % change? I dont think many ppl will be interested in making apps for MP for any less of a %.

tl;dr Making MP apps is better than running a standalone investment site, so make moar apps!

Really, why do you think so? Under the assumption that you want investors in your casino (either you can't BR yourself or you don't want to due to the risk) I always come to the conclusion that it is better to create a MP app than to your run a standalone casino with investments.

Historically (thanks @NLNico) the overall average edge of MP has been 0.9351% and app owners got an 0.5128% edge which translated to 54.84% of the expected profits. That is higher than for example the 50% of expected profits that Pocket Rockets Casino [Ref, NonRef] takes, the bitcoin dice site with the highest commission that I know of. In my opinion, it is safe to assume that you won't get a lot of investments if you start your standalone site with 54% commission and furthermore you miss the opportunity to source MP's userbase. Consequently, I think that it is better to run an MP app instead of a standalone investment site and that would also be the case if the app commission was lower.

In our case, my team is planning to add our own apps to the mix as well, to help build up the site more and help do more than just promote others'.
2222  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: [PRE-ANN] Eadsy.net Advertising Network | Launch date: December 10th! on: November 26, 2015, 07:57:45 PM
What that 50% for faucet is exactly in referal system area? Do you have any signup bonus for advertisers like me to start off with ad? Its better you add some bonus fund for advertisers in this way publisher find your adnetwork quite interesting as you will have running ads on opening in your adnetwork.
We will actually make a smooth transition from adbtc.info, so we will have a solid start with active publishers and advertisers with all kinds of running ads. So far we haven't thought about signup bonuses and don't think there is a need for that, as there will be a free section if the new advertisers want to try how the system works. This section is still under construction though and I can't give exact details about it now. The idea of the 50% from this section is that if your referral generates 10k satoshis for the day, you will get 5k which you can use however you want.

I like the idea of a referral system, especially from a publisher side. Most often, it's only the advertisers that generate referral income, so this is a great change, Smiley.

The auction process is still on-going, so I think it'll make sense to wait until we have a winner announced instead of speculating. That said, app owners are the life-blood of MP, so I doubt anyone is going to buy the app just to squeeze them.

Yeah, I don't foresee this being an issue, either. It wouldn't make sense for someone to start alienating their userbase, as that would just result in a crash of the system and loss of investment money.
2224  Economy / Gambling / Re: MoneyPot.com :: The bitcoin gambling wallet on: November 26, 2015, 07:01:19 PM
I'd just like to state that I am not bidding on MoneyPot, and am not part of any group that is.

It was brought to my attention that QuickSeller was PMing MoneyPot app owners spreading lies about me for whatever reason. Rest assumed I don't have any intention of buying MoneyPot. And as of last week's pevpot draw no longer even invest there.

I can confirm that Dooglus has never expressed any interest in buying MP or any of its apps, nor to the best of my knowledge even remotely involved with any group-bid. The only time Dooglus' name has ever even come up, is I've listed him as one of several escrow options I'd be willing to accept (although my preference is for 2-of-2 or 2-of-3 multisig).

And this is my first time hearing about the QuickSeller thing? I've got no idea what's happening there. Th only communication I've had with QuickSeller is that he (in private) helped me with some (primarily-blockchain) analysis on a MP bidder who I now believe was involved in a previous scam (so I obviously won't be selling to them).

Just curious about whats the state of the auction is? are you right now under the process of sorting potential owner through their history or are you still waiting for some bid from better person / team right now? either way its sad to see you let this baby slip through your hands

We're in a sort of limbo right now. My group is working on proving financials atm (I have already signed my own portion of it, just waiting for one person afaik). More will be shared when I know it.
Shouldnt all the financials have been proved before making an offer? Seems like thats how it should be before making the conscious decision to buy a site as large as moneypot

There's no doubt that we have the finances (other parties are equally reputable). It's just that one appears to be a little illiquid (or was). I'm actually awaiting more information on this myself, Smiley.

Since it seems that you are quite sure that your team might win this auction can you atleast state how many devs will be working on moneypot if your "team" win this? the more the better of course and it seems you are not really a coder?

I'm not 100% sure if we'll win, but I do remain optimistic, :p. As for how many devs there are, I'm unsure, though we do have great plans for taking the site forward and will make it happen!

The only reason I started posting on behalf of this is to help put everyone's mind at ease. Not everyone is out there to screw others over. And the simple fact is that as of this second, NOTHING has changed so worrying is meaningless.
2225  Economy / Gambling / Re: New raffle site http://yumicoin.com on: November 26, 2015, 06:31:52 AM
Since the site is totally new, you should conduct some giveaways for early participants in order to participate and see how it works. Also you need to conduct signature campaigns to get more people involved on your site. (for long sustenance) BTW, the site is clean and looks legit though. Smiley

Edit: Oops! I didn't notice that you had already conducted the giveaway. But I can't see any "Register" button on your site. So, which address should I provide here?

1. 1GHpVMTdK1BvMMc2RhSWfYiYfLkCyBAg8B (betting address on your site)

2. 1NoTajKJT6gRLEPkHwcb1EB4cNyDrmuhii (my personal wallet) I send you 0.003 BTC on your wallet for playing at my betting address

^^ Here's another typo I found: Look at the date (it said this bet was ended on 26th November) and look at the "Ends in" countdown. One might get confused with this.

Thanks for your giveaway though. Smiley

Do you think it is best to put "send 0.001 BTC to" instead of "btc address"?
For "ended november 26 at 00:00" put " ended november 26 at midnight (0 UTC)"

The time is fine, but what's confusing is like:

"DATE:  Ended December 3 at 00:00"

It's not Dec. 3rd, so it hasn't ended. It should say "Ends December 3 at 00:00 (UTC)" or something instead.
2226  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Behaviors Lead to Gambling Addiction on: November 26, 2015, 05:44:11 AM
I would like to get some personal opinions for a class I am taking and I would like to know what behaviors lead people to develop a gambling problem.  Some people will start gambling for fun and others will start gambling thinking they are going to strike it rich.  I would like your opinions as to why this happens.

For me I'd say my gambling addiction took off on my first decent sized win.

I playyed primarily just for entertainment until I hit a decent win.. After that I was hooked chasing that adrenaline rush you get on "yolo" bets.

Overall I say gambling is pretty hard to avoid in the BTC ecosytem.. Its everywhere and for people with addictive personalities it can be a downfall.

^ take his word for it. As a non-investor that followed the situation, I was pretty upset about what you did. But at the same time, I see the addiction as being like a drug, in a sense. I just hope you can keep from falling under again...
2227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: November 26, 2015, 05:38:52 AM
There's no such strategy on luck based games like Dice and Roulette. You simply have to throw in huge chunks of Bitcoins in order to win very little as "house edge" typically sets every bet's fate. If you want to play some strategy based games then my advice would be to head on to some reputed sites like Betcoin.ag and gamble strategically on Blackjack, Baccarat or Poker games. Now, why I mentioned Betcoin.ag specifically because as you play here your profile level will step up and you'll achieve several advantages like gaining some percentages of "Rakeback", "Lossback" and "Betback" to enhance your winning streak. Wink

Even with a 0% house edge, or -10% house edge, you will still lose. The bet caps guarantee this. The house edge just makes it happen faster.

The only +ev game is poker, if you're a good player. But that's not player vs. house and the house still wins (off rake), rather player vs. player. Past that, I'm unaware of anything that is +ev.
2228  Economy / Gambling / Re: New raffle site http://yumicoin.com on: November 26, 2015, 05:19:56 AM
For the first and the last winners they win 1% but if they are choose randomly they win too.

An other think that nobody ask^^

If you try your chance to be the last player but unfortunetly the payment is after the end of the game.
You lost your ticket but the amount is included in the pot.
The money didn't go on my pocket^^.

Ahhh, interesting. I wasn't aware of that (I figured it would just go to the next drawing). I'd hope that people wouldn't hunt for the 1% at the end on purpose regardless (unless the pot was big enough to justify it, Tongue).

BTW, when you have some funds built up from drawings and such, I do professional proofreading/editing and saw that there are many areas on your site that can be improved, should you want my services, Smiley.

The other part I forgot to ask... if a user has multiple tickets, can they win multiple times in a single drawing, or is it once per account?
If two of his tickets are drawn, he wins twice.

Awesome. Thanks, Yumi, for being open to my questions! I really appreciate it, Smiley. As a result, I think this is the best lottery site for people like me (who want more smaller wins and less larger ones to reduce variance)! Looking forward to seeing how everything grows.

markzenn11 just finished signing up.

must post a video on how it looks while on play.
by the way when will this be in real mode?
Real mode is supposed to launch tomorrow at 23:59 forum time i believe. I like the look myself kinda curious to play real mode

Is there an investment option there? I was looking to see but didn't want to make an account (shouldn't be required), :p.
I've only been testing the site the last few days.i dont recall seeing an invest option though

Ah, you were aware of it before the demo he just announced? Smiley. If so and if you have any insider information, is there going to be a referral system? I plan to review the site soonish after its launch.
2232  Economy / Services / Re: [BIT-X.com] Earn Bitcoins by Posting | Signature Campaign on: November 26, 2015, 04:58:39 AM
I have moved away from this campaign and changed signature to another one. Please consider this post as a notification of that, and consider all unpaid posts (if there are any) forfeited.
Thank you for the time of cooperation we shared.

cheers

Same deal here, and I'd like to stay on good terms for the future, Smiley. This was a great campaign and it wasn't easy for someone to pull me away from it. Definitely an A+ that I would recommend for others (and gladly return in the future if allowed).

I'm guessing you and many others left because the payout per posts was dropped under several other campaigns?
I thought they left because that both but maybe mostly left because many new several Sig campaign offering different rate and different rules
Or they are left just because want try a new campaign

Mine's a multitude of reasons (nothing negative towards Marco/Bit-X and I'd absolutely discuss it with him via PM if he needed clarification). I'll end it at that, though, publicly, and just say that there's a better match for me at the current time, Smiley. Been with Bit-X for a longggggg time and have only had payment issues twice (both of which ended up paid, just slightly later than expected), which is a LOT to say for a sig. campaign, where failures are prevalent. Despite my current deal, it was still a brain-rack about whether or not I should swap for the time being. There's just a lot to say for a steady campaign, Smiley. Ultimately, though, I felt like it was the right move, and I really hope Marco doesn't take it the wrong way and has his arms open in the future.

I saw "redeem voucher " What this functio and I do not see  autobet icon this is not available ?
one of the most important features is autobet if it is not available I am sure they would not be comfortable playing

Voucher would be them giving away free coins you can redeem (like promos) and (likely) players being able to buy them and sell/trade (not 100% on the latter).
2234  Economy / Gambling / Re: New raffle site http://yumicoin.com on: November 26, 2015, 04:54:54 AM
is it ok if we send .003 in 1 transaction to save some fees? if not, i think it is better if you can add that feature so more players will be able to try your site without paying so much miners fee

Yes you can, but if you play a huge amount your number rank is like that
100 players you play 0.001 a different time 4 times ( your numbers are 10,26,45, 81)
but if you play 0.004 your numbers are 25,27,28,29

It is up to you to choose^^

Gambler's fallacy. Both of these scenarios are exactly the game. If the number is truly random, it doesn't matter if you own 1 and 10 or 1 and 2.

that's true but I think it is really rare to have a Number Suite randomly selected?
Like 8 numbers choose randomly and you have 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 who win It could be funny to see^^

Technically, the chances of that happening are very low. Like less than 1% low I believe. The numbers should be somewhat equal over 100 million rolls, though, but still would never be exactly even. Even so, the chance of landing on any one of those is exactly the same, regardless as to if one hit 100x in a row or 0x in 500 million rolls.

I'll give this a go! 39XNemirq8eVCkArwkU8aSqjHRqJ8nVfX2

Can you better elaborate on how this is better than something like Crypto-Games though? They also offer a lottery. It doesn't support LTC but past that, what makes yours unique?

Nothing much.

Just that instead of 3 winners, on mine you have 10 winners.
8 are choose randomly
the first and last player win 1%
I only take 1% of fee and when I check most of the other website I am the less greedy.

And 0.0001 BTC for me who like raffles and lotteries it is like playing with dust even 0.001 BTC that's a little pebble  Undecided

This makes sense -- I personally like having more winners myself, Smiley.

But something isn't clear... when you say 1st and last get 1%, is that a guaranteed 1% PLUS the chance to win a portion of the pot as well? The way you type it, it seems like the 1% is in lieu of the pot.

Nice...good to know.  I have a few additional questions.

     1)  Will my HM2 or PT3 software be compatible there?

     2)  In you're honest opinion, is the player field soft or is everybody playing there a shark? (I'm not
particularly a "bum hunter" but hey, that's poker)

I'll visit the site and answer the rest on my questions on own....do you have an affiliate link?

Hi Cjmoles,

Come check SwC out!  It's true, traffic isn't the greatest sometimes, but you can play all of the mixed games, OFC, etc, which isn't available on any other sites for US players. There are a lot of friendly people there and some interesting characters as well. No one can use huds and there are plenty of casual players, so the games aren't that tough. Hope to see you there!

Hey, saw you streamed two days ago (earlier post) that I missed. You should set up a weekly schedule so it's predictable. I think it would help increase your viewership as well.

I'm still stuck on rice ponds can anyone can help me out. or do you have anyway to earn few mBTC then i will use it to play again in rice ponds..
Waters from mentors is not enough to gain few satoshi's and also gift from statue's
I am searching for another statue's that can give free satoshis again but all of the statues has no gift..
Guys who have reach above level 5?Can you PM me your username there i will add you as my friend and also can you share few waters?

At his point you should think about making a deposit, perhaps~
I think making a deposit is the only way to do all my task done... I dont understand the task on the left that you can skip task by depositing 20 mbtc?
So if i deposit 20mbtc all task will be skip and i will level up?

If you deposit 20mbtc then you can skip one of the other tasks.  What's your name in the game?  i can show you what's up.  Here's a hint btw, all you really have to do is deposit 1mbtc 20 times.  You can even withdrawal to your deposit address to finish the task. Wink

I'm actually surprised Di allows this. Seems semi-exploiting, but haven't heard of anyone getting in trouble (and it was even how I was told to do it long ago), Tongue.

As for earning, if you happen to be a writer (and play MMOs) I might be able to help out, Smiley.
