We may see the preview of Eastern Finals since Celtics and Cavs will meet on Opening night. This will be an exciting game to watch. We will see how Kyrie will lead the celtics against his previous teammates.

The first match of NBA will be a one sided match. Imagine boston traded many important players in their team for a self centered player like Kyrie Irving. I'm sure that we can see that Cavs will slaughter boston.

Pretty exciting to see what Kyrie would do to carry a team pretty much on his own.

Yes, we have talked so much negative about Kyrie not able to carry to team. Let us know see if he can carry this Celtics because the argument that he is too green to lift Cavs before does not carry any weight anymore for him. He has in this league for long and now he needs to prove his detractors wrong.

Now is his chance to prove them all wrong. We will see this season if Kyrie can be a good leader that the boston can build a team around. And Kyrie is still very young, he can still improve a lot. We know he can score, he just needs to develop his leadership.
His experience is big already as he is already once a champion, we can expect there will be an improvement
but the chemistry is not easily build. Remember, Boston Celtics is not the warriors, but still good to find out when they formally start.

IMO they've got the making for a Warriors-like team if they'll perform at the top of their game. They've got Hayward, Horford, and Kyrie on their lineup.

It's gonna drop, just wait for it. The momentum can't and won't always go upward.
804  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you decide when it's time to sell? on: August 25, 2017, 01:28:11 PM
IMO the best signal is when you're already satisfied with your profits. You can sell your coins by then, or at most, 70-80% of your holdings.

806  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will it fall? on: August 25, 2017, 12:15:36 PM
what comes up must come down.

Worst analogy ever. This can only happen to something that is completely worthless and useless. The stock market has never went to $0 EVER.

It can go bearish to an untested support, but I would not go short anything technology. If there is one sector that is evolving, its technology. Even if there is short term downtrend, the smart idea would be to buy the dip and sell gradually at profits. It is the common nature of markets in general and it doesn't operate any differently in the crypto/bitcoin world.

Actually, it's one of the wisest advice ever. Even to other real world markets. He didn't say that it would crash down to zero, it just means the value would go down eventually after a rise.
807  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price of Bitcoin by 2018? on: August 24, 2017, 11:36:29 AM
Do you think that BTC can price $10,000 in 2018?

No. The main reason is that the major pumps have already happened, from 1k to 2k and 2k to 4k, etc.

It is going to keep getting harder for us to double the price. And currently we are struggling to even keep up over $4k.

This is true with anything when it is overbought and btc is indeed overbought right now. People seem to be just going crazy every single day for some reason, buying when the price has already risen 30% in the day. A correction is going to come much bigger than the current one, imo. And that will slow down growth quite a bit.

I think that $10k is very very likely to be achieved by 2020 when the next halving comes, though. I'm still in bitcoin for the long run, for sure.

It's because of the ICOs we see everywhere, it seems. Yes, a major correction is due, but after that, the price would stabilize again. I still see a rise in the long run.
808  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: August 24, 2017, 11:04:32 AM
Bitcoin, and crypto as a whole is a very good oportunity, just be sure to not invest all your money in it and be carefull with your private keys,  be smart.

Always diversify your portfolio so that if one asset class where you have invested is not giving you returns the others may give you and on average you will gain. In similar fashion purchase different coins including btc and other altcoins so that the returns could be better than just investing in single coin.

And yes btc is the only asset class which has given you highest return last year and till now even in this year. So you should ideally be investing still in btc every month if possible.

Well at this point, go for alts that have their values not essentially tied to BTCBTCBTC, so they won't get affected too much in case the value of BTCBTCBTC crashes down.
809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: August 24, 2017, 10:46:52 AM
Wow, interesting trade between Celtics and Cavs. On one hand, maybe Celtics gave too much for Irving, but on other hand Celtics in Irving got experienced all star player who is, to be honest, much better player than Isiah Thomas. Anyway, very very interesting trade! Looking forward to new season!

It's not about the comparison of Irving and Thomas performance, it's about destroying the current system of Celtics. No matter how good Irving is, IT already knows the Celtics system that why he able to carry the team into playoffs. He already knows the caliber of his teammate. It's the same as destroying your championship lineup like what Cuban did into my favorite team Dallas the next season after they won a championship last 2011.

Crowder and IT's good performance are some of the reasons why Celtics reached the East 1st spot passing Cleveland Cavaliers this last season.

Yeah, it will take some time to him to fit in lineup, but after fitting Celtics will be strong again. They have Hayward who can replace departure of Jae Crowder...

Dissapointed at Celtics move. I don't know what they are thinking. They also gave up the 2018 first round pick which might be a good asset in their future roster. Isiah Thomas was the last pick of first round during 2011 draft and Kyrie is the first but now shining on the stage due to his recent performance in Boston Celtics.

Well that was management decision. Just hopefully they made a good decision out of this trade.
One player in exchange of 3 players, that is not a good move, Irving is good but he need another superstar like Lebron to win the Finals.
If he cannot take his team to the playoff before lebron go back, then what would be the chances that he can raise the celtics team.

They're gonna make Kyrie their franchise player, so yes he's worth way that much. It would have been better if they did include a third team to offset the burden of trading him though.
810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: August 23, 2017, 12:58:32 PM
While i certainly think that the trade worked out for both teams, Cleveland got the better hand here. Not only do they get a scorer whose offensive game is as potent as Kyrie's, but they also got a decent defender in Crowder.

However, Kyrie can now take Boston to the next level if he is take his offensive game up a notch . What do you guys think about Bostons offence now?

Quite good, the deal for both teams seems to be helpful and they are happy with the trade.

And for their offense, still we I can't have an insight about this thing until I watch the play of the new roster of Boston.

When it comes to defense, yes you said it Crowder is good at it.

I'm not sure though. It is really tempting if you're offered a player of kyrie's caliber but boston just came from a really good run last season with the core that they have now. I'm not sure how this trade is going to work out for them but definitely the cavs will benefit highly from this.
I just don't get what path the Boston Celtics want to take because they gave up the 1st pick and not drafting Markelle Fultz in what I thought including the fans of the Celtics that Isaiah Thomas was their long term Star Point Guard and now they are trading him away for Kyrie Irving along with Jae Crowder and a 1st Round pick from Brooklyn. I really hope they do know what path they are going because acquiring Gordon Hayward would be a waste for the team.

Damn. I never thought that Boston Celtics would give up Isiah Thomas after was he gave the team last year and I'm also thinking the he would be the face of Boston for years to come. Its gonna be a painful for Isiah to see Boston left him go. Anyways, it is what it is so he should move and look forward and playing with the greatest player of today's generation-Lebron James. I think its more of a win on the side of Cavaliers, and with this trade, it doesn't seems that they will miss the scoring that Kyrie could provide every night as we all know that IT is a good scorer as well. Plus IT is a very good guard as well. Interesting to see those team meet at the finals in the East and let's see emotions flaring up. LOL.
I guess they never really saw Isaiah Thomas to be there guy in the future. And the funny thing about this is they have up the 1st round draft pick of the Brooklyn Nets as well, in which we all know the Chicago Bulls is only asking for in the Jimmy Butler trade. I think they have offered a lot in exchange for a Point Guard who has the same skill set with what they had. A really bad trade for the Boston Celtics.

The thing is Kyrie is just 25. The kid is just entering his prime. It's pretty reasonable to build a franchise around him.
811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pacquiao vs. Horn - REMATCH! on: August 23, 2017, 12:55:34 PM
Would be better if the fight will happen in Vegas or any venue outside their own country to prevent an advantage or let's say cooking show rather. This time Pacman will win and gonna try to KO'ed Horn. Although he's getting older and don't have that power punch just like before but I think he can still make a KO this time. Revenge, you know. If he will win, that's the best time to retire.

The fight should happen in the Philippines. So that it is will a equal opportunity for both of them. Pacquiao gave up hometown advantage when he was the champion. So Horn should do the same. However, I believe that the PPV will totally bomb. I don't think that people from stateside will stay late just to watch Manny now. If he is the Manny that we used to see 5-7 years ago then people will do whatever to see the fight. But since Manny is no longer relevant then no one cares and PPV will not do good. I agree that Arum is just milking Manny because he has already found a new cash cow already which is Terrence Crawford.

Wherever the match is settled, pretty sure this won't affect much. This fight is just for the money anyways.

Its already giving me chills, the offensive potential of this Celtics lineup. Kyrie himself is a monster while it comes to offense and with the likes of Avery Bradley, a highly rated shooting guard with an impressive 3P shooting record, it only gets better. Also, with the likes of Gordon Hayward and Al Horford adding to the rebounding ability, Kyrie could make use of all these good players to make it to the finals.

You forgot that the Cavs got a first round pick on next year's draft too. So the Kyrie trade did pay them off well.

Everyone seems to get stuck with Irving and change of roster, let's go now for the speculations about the finals. Well everyone looks good to go and each team does have their final roster now, who do you think will have the highest chance to be at the finals, GSW as usual, Cavs, Spurs any other teams that became low profile? with me, Bucks!
I hope Giannis able to find some help with his team mates and if possible bring some stars too if he can be paired with someone who's matured enough
to bring his game to its finest he's still young and I'm looking forward to see him like MJ tried doing his best to be at the top.
I agree with your comment, he is talented but he is still young with no championship experience. He need to mature and maybe to make that happen soon, he need someone to help him do it, he is like a younger durant but probably a better one IMO.
I'll be watching this kid closely, he was recognize this year and receive a good salary, I hope he'll explore and be more confident.

JH + CP3 in Htown. Supported by Gordon (Reigning 6th Man of the Year), Anderson, and Capela. If they get their groove going this team is gonna be really good.
814  Economy / Speculation / Re: Recent Crash on: August 22, 2017, 01:29:40 PM
Anyone pissed off lately about the price drop next 2 me?  Huh

Those of us who bought it around 3700 eur hoping that it's gonna go for the 5K then it fall back under the frogs ass 3200 EUR...

Do you believe it's only due to Bitcoin Cash?

I want to see steady rollin up to 10k.

If you are on long term no way you will be pissed off with the crashed since after all you will not sold your coins. Take that crash as an advantage to buy again since once the journey to the moon started again you won't be able to take the ride again.

Price decrease is normal even for a crash. There is no way the trend is always upward because of hard volatility in cryptos.

Honestly, I'm expecting a bear market in the few weeks to come. What goes up will always go down.
815  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: August 22, 2017, 07:08:01 AM
So we're still not seeing a Kyrie or Carmelo trade before the season starts?

Still there's no update regarding news about these people.

I want to see Kyrie back at Cavs and play with Lebron. I want to see him play with him not comfortable.

These are pros, they'll work up to it.

Although, I'd like to see Kyrie make up for himself, Miami would be a good choice.

Miami would be a good choice, the question is does Miami have an eye for him? This is hard for Kyrie.

They are pro's but still they can't remove some heart feelings with their play style because it affects the game.

Comfort will be affected too when they play.
It has been a while since we heard anything new about where Kyrie and Melo would eventually go. Aside from the fact that they have preferred destinations, we haven’t seen any new developments on their status. I hope this doesn’t drag too long as this will eventually affect the play once the regular season starts to roll. It would be awkward to see Lebron and Kyrie play alongside each other when Kyrie doesn’t want any part of it anymore.

Well to be realistic both their preferred destinations don't have the assets wanted from them ready on the table. They need a third, or even a fourth team to make the trades.
816  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for Website Ideas on: August 22, 2017, 06:58:15 AM
Maybe a website that connects all your social media accounts and show you important updates and messages from all of them at one place.

I know browser plugins or apps has this functionality.

If you want to build something for bitcoin community and you are a experienced web developer, you can make a stolen bitcoins database, where users can post their wallet addresses and a proof of ownership and it should allow them to explain how they lost their bitcoins and they should be able to track their funds or get notifications when funds are moved. If it works properly I think exchanges can use it's Api to identify stolen funds/deposits.

Isn't this way too complicated to implement?  Smiley
817  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: August 22, 2017, 01:44:14 AM
I think otherwise, kyrie should go back to strengthen cavaliers because golden state warriors are becoming too dominant and powerful and I don't see any team in competition except cavaliers and so I'd like to see him there so they can offer competition at least in the final.
No, he won't be getting back to Cavs anymore. What type of player he is if he eats his words alone. It's better for him to look for a better team that will receive him gratefully. Cavs isn't showing interest to him anymore as they have a lot of choice to strengthen the team, I feel pity about him and with his decision's.

Well let's wait and see what might ensue eventually because all we are doing here is a mere speculation without any facts backing them hence we should wait and see what happens in the player transfer market.

Well the trade talks are still in dead air, just like with Carmelo. I think we won't be seeing any trades  from these two before the season starts.
818  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin hitting the next level... requirements. on: August 21, 2017, 01:05:31 PM
BTCBTCBTC won't be mass adopted unless it fix its issues with fees, which as we see is still not plausible at this point.
819  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is $4000 the perfect time to buy on: August 21, 2017, 12:24:46 PM
Nowadays the main focus isn't Bitcoin anymore, but the greed of the individual characters in this industry.

It's because there's money to be made.

@ontopic, already too late to buy now IMO. Anyway, There are a lot of ICOs around, go check them out.
820  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HASHNEST Discussion and Support Thread on: August 21, 2017, 02:35:10 AM

I'm new here, have an offtopic question: I want to buy 200 TH/s and switch my life to this income. Can anyone share their income from there (I mean who there more the 1year)

tnx

Actually income is VERY close to https://whattomine.com calculator

If you will buy 200TH most probably you will get ~0.045BTC per day. Which can (and will) change every day in dependence on BTC price and difficulty.

Good luck!

Still a bad idea IMO. Not against the idea completely but being a previous HashNest customer, I'd advise you do not push through.
