841  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Genuine bitcoin investment website on: August 12, 2017, 10:12:42 AM
Honestly, it'll be better if you invest your money on your own.

Build a site/business, grow it, then profit from it. Too risky to invest your hard earned money on other sites/people.
842  Economy / Speculation / Re: Game over for now on: August 12, 2017, 08:09:27 AM
I held I was just whining. Wtf would sell this year?
$3620 and climbing the japs have invaded again. (this time in a good way)

This will continue all the way to the $4000 level, where after that I am not exactly sure how the market will sustain further growth. I will definitely cash out profits as soon as the market jumps into the $3950-$4000 range.  I expect the market to fall down at least 10% from that point. My buy back target will be around the $3500 level. If everything goes according to plan, I will end up with a decent and quick 10% gain.
I have a predict about the market in next time, if in August the price of Bitcoin still high than $3000, the bearish market will ended and change to other period, maybe neutral or bullish trend, depending the emotion of trader on market in this time.
I can speculate it will reach to $4000 or more as it depends on the emotion of trader. Well, as we can see to it the bullish in the market still continues. So a lot of traders are happy on these price and most gained profit already. Moreover, lets ride with the movement in the market and for sure it will climbed its value.

Idk what's pushing the price towards $4000 anymore, at this point, it's really worrying what's gonna be the floor when it comes down crashing.
843  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: August 12, 2017, 07:59:55 AM
Yes I also read about Paul George rumors but I don't know how authenticate is it.

"Warriors owner Joe Lacob “is going to try and find a way” to get George to Golden State."

These are some of the ways:
- They must give up some of their caliber players in order to acquired George.
- George must demand for it
- They have to build up a better package

But in this case, GSW management is the one who will pursue to get George. It's different if this guy is eager to joined GSW like what Kevin Durant did that he sacrifice his salary just to get to this team.

If this will happened super team will now become a super team more. Really a bad idea as it will destroys excitement.

Isn't George already traded to the Thunder?

It's not gonna happen, as if OKC would be willing to give him up with having good pieces for themselves.
844  Economy / Speculation / Re: Game over for now on: August 10, 2017, 03:37:01 AM
No way to make any decent gains for the forseeable future. Mkt cap is $50b that means $100b to double your money.  I see sideways bs looking for idiot buyers for awhile then a bear market before the next leg up.
The current adoption simply doesn't support a continued rise.

I sure hope this isn't the consensus around here. More moon talk, please. I'm really not sure where the price will go in the next few months, but I'm praying for a correction to buy into...

Sentiment seems mostly bullish, but with all this positive media press, the LedgerX news and the market uncertainty around Segwit activation gone, I think we're still headed to the moon.

Overstatement IMO. Besides, 3k is already the 'moon' level if you've started from the bottom.
845  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it worth to buy Waves now? on: August 09, 2017, 01:51:08 PM
I want to buy waves but really all this optimistic people telling it will go to 20-50 usd makes me scare. Even some people thinks that this much little investors will never win. New dex , adding cny theese can get waves up but I am already scared of this coin.

Just don't go spending what you cannot afford to lose, that's the rule when it comes to these kinds of things. If you've got spare, it's always worth the risk.
846  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC-e still down, Russian arrested in Greece on: August 09, 2017, 01:47:55 PM
BTC-e down for over 24 hours.  One of the owners went by Alexander.

Possibly related, 1h ago:

Greece detains Russian Alexander Vinnik for bitcoin 'fraud'

ATHENS, July 26 (Reuters) - A Russian arrested in Greece on suspicion of running a money laundering operation through a bitcoin platform is 38 year old Alexander Vinnik, police sources said on Wednesday.

Greek police earlier said the suspect, who was picked up on a U.S. warrant, was thought to have used bitcoin to launder 'at least' $4 billion earned through illicit activities.

I'm lucky I stopped using BTC-e a few years ago but I transferred my coins from there to Cryptsy which didn't end well either. I ended losing most of that anyway. These exchanges are high risk and this is another reason why we need to be careful and not keep many Bitcoins on them. Even good ones can get hacked and there's no way to get it back.

Which is why we always go back to the golden rule in this space, don't leave your money on exchanges!
847  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Genesis Mining vs Hashflare Review - Which is better? on: August 09, 2017, 01:41:04 PM
hashnest seen better than most for profiit but if u can buid a pc make a mining rig try it out with 7 gpus and use rx 580 or gtx 1060's
next you could buy 3 x antminers from bitmain and try it out maybe go for the L3+ or d3 these all pre order
thx
steve

From experience, the one that makes Hashnest profitable is that their GHs market is very active. Trading GHs is much more profitable in their vs their mining.
848  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin reached 3.2K!! on: August 09, 2017, 01:05:30 PM
And everybody's happy! That moment when you can't stop grinning. In a span of one month we've seen a $1,000 surge and so there's nothing stopping btc to go for $5,000 by the end of this year, right? Considering all the fluctuations that may happen. I think four months is enough for bitcoin to have a two-thousand dollar additional surge, don't you think? Crossing my fingers! Grin

That's too optimistic don't you think? Would be a very nice thing to happen but let's keep grounded here.

A ~$1000 rise is more plausible IMO.
849  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: August 09, 2017, 01:01:21 PM
I think Golden State Warriors still unstoppable next season. Maybe only 2 or 5 top NBA team as title contender for Curry and folks.
Anyone have created thread for 2017/2018 season yet?

The NBA is yet boring again for another season.  Smiley

Super-team dominance isn't healthy for the league at all IMO.
850  Economy / Services / Re: [INVEST] I Want to invest 0.5 BTC + on: August 06, 2017, 02:57:19 PM
If i were you, you should start an agency of your own. With that skillset you can start your own company and hire VAs for the other needed work.

851  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: AFFILIATE PROGRAMS on: August 06, 2017, 04:51:49 AM
Have you ever heard of RunCPA? They're a network on the BTCBTCBTC-niche.
852  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I need your help for investing! on: August 06, 2017, 12:28:13 AM
Let me be clear. Nobody here can give you a 100% guarantee of good returns on any coin. Altcoin market is very uncertain and scams are quite common. Unless you yourself understand the market, refrain from trading in altcoin and stay in Bitcoin. Bitcoin has least risk and gives good ROI. You got a huge amount. Invest wisely. If you want to start with altcoins. Start with small amount like $100 and try to understand the market through charts.

It's a high risk high reward, if you're willing to take it. Overall if you've got money to spare, it's worth the try.
853  Economy / Speculation / Re: New all-time high on: August 06, 2017, 12:25:14 AM
This new ATH is great and all, but the greedy bastard in me is more looking forward to even higher ath's before being satisfied, at least before this year is over. Not that I'm impatient and not enjoying the current state of things, being a longtime hodler.

BTW, did Bitcoinity have a picture to mark the new ATH? I missed it if they did.

What a time to be alive isn't it? I love that feeling. Hopefully this remains the new floor.
854  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: August 05, 2017, 11:34:21 PM
Miami would be a perfect fit for Kyrie, they've got good bigs there. Kyrie would be complete their missing piece.
855  Economy / Speculation / Re: Price after fork on: July 29, 2017, 03:01:22 AM
Bitcoin will obviously have more value than Bitcoin Cash, there are only a few mining companies that are planning to support BCC chain, I am predicting a price crash on BCC once it goes live on trading exchanges, traders would just dump it fast before the price goes crashing to the bottom.

You are confusing cause and effect. MIning companies will decide which coin to mine, depending on the price of each coin. Support of the miners won't determine price.

In the end, it's still profitability that determines choices. Isn't that ironic for a supposed decentralized economy.
856  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC upto 5000$!! on: July 28, 2017, 04:03:33 AM
Can you at least tell us why you think that will happen? Smiley or are you just making uneducated guesses?

On reaching $5000 though, I think it's very possible. And I think a huge factor of the end-of-the-year price would be how the scaling issues will go in the following months.

What happens this August 1 is much more of a factor I suppose.
857  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2016/17 NBA Season on: July 27, 2017, 01:13:21 PM
The Cavs are looking to contend for a championship still, they wouldn't trade Kyrie for a rebuild.

They don't have to rebuild but they need to adjust with their new roster together with Derrick Rose. Rose isn't good as the old times, they need to take the time for having the chemistry with Lebron. This is everyone has been waiting for to look for an adjustment and change in roster regarding their hopes to hit again another championship.
Let's see if rose can really bring success with his stay in the cavaliers, I think he will be welcome by the fans as D Rose is a legend IMO.
Not literally a legend but the way he played when he was healthy is something that people will never forget.

But frankly, that guy has brittle knees. He'll just get injured all over again.
858  Economy / Speculation / Re: Goldman Sachs predicts Bitcoin may get as high as $3600 in the next wave on: July 27, 2017, 12:54:47 PM
I doubt it, there are different things going on now that will push down the price. The negative sentiments regarding BTC-e and the arrest of the owner and the lost coins and also AlphaBay coins that are not being used. We normally see a cool down period when exchanges gets hacked or coins seized or even illegal markets being closed. I think we might see $3000 in about 2 months from now, when the scaling issues has been dealt with.

$3600 is very optimistic.  Roll Eyes

We've been here before haven't we. Every time, BTCBTCBTC did recover and went even higher. Hopefully, the trend would still continue.
859  Other / Off-topic / Re: Job Vs Bitcoin on: July 27, 2017, 10:08:15 AM
Try to think long term here. If you decide on pursuing just one, would the road or journey not be a dead-end one? If you are somebody in your teens or early 20's, the decision might be easier to make since you can still change your career path if things don't quite go according to plans.

To do full time trading? It's more of the experience I say. You'll have bad times but you'll learn. Age isn't exactly a contraindication.
