1361  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Smith Inu? on: March 30, 2022, 08:59:42 PM

Bud, what even in the shitcoin's space is this? As if variants of Shiba Inu weren't enough, and now we got Will Smith. I know what happened to that particular segment, and I just didn't expect that someone would even a coin out of it.
This just says it all that many new devs/teams are running out of ideas to make new coin now these days. It's all about taking that trending meme and just expecting people to buy it and use it in the long term.
I wish you did a snapshot of it that it reached #1.  Cheesy
It would be hilarious to see that.

Depends on what type of questions were you asking. If it is an obvious scam, just like what others mentioned in here, it could lead to a blocking you whatever communication medium were you using. They can still straight up lie to you with either falsified conclusions or even statistics.
You can ask a project dev about their Github repo as well. You don't need to know how to code to see how active the project is as there is an indicator of the activities inside the project there shaded by green.

This.
I usually just share some experiences I get when I am sending Bitcoin to another individual. It's more of.... technical stuff. I do not brag about my crypto returns, cause even myself either do not care about those people bragging too much, while I feel sometimes happy for some that a little humble at least.
"People just come to you and borrow money". Oh boy and then there would be a time that you would get annoyed by those people borrowing from you and that can also ruin connections from other people as well. Well I can just say that they brought that stuff for themselves. Cheesy
1364  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrop in 2022 on: March 30, 2022, 05:58:36 PM
Anyone still joins airdrops this day? If Yes which platform are you using to participate in Airdrops? I'm using coinmarketcap but I never get a single payment from projects on the platform.
If airdrops would be just the way to go to get rich, why won't everyone just do airdrops and never think about work again, lol. See that's what is wrong, OP. There are people still depending in these airdrops thinking that it would even pay them a dim, and even if they did, it is a shitcoin that won't last overnight.
It's not profitable nor worth the risk as it was back pre-2017.

Time has changed, I know.

Somehow this was my checklist when I was looking for new coins to buy in the market. When it is in Binance, it's a green light for me although I wouldn't count the exchange itself alone as fees are bit of a pain sometimes which kind of hurts my capital when I was day trading back then.

It was thorough DYOR for me back in the days. Cheesy
1366  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin market, what to expect I'm this season on: March 29, 2022, 09:45:32 PM

Usually altcoin prices tend to follow Bitcoin prices for obvious reasons that same mindset of some investors that all coins are connected together as they're all volatiles with the exception of stablecoins.
When I was still starting up in crypto, I had the mindset that I should go for Bitcoin first before I consider these altcoins which I did long time ago.
1367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this true? on: March 29, 2022, 04:13:37 PM

Lol even by normal conditions, those shitcoins will never ever see a daylight ever. Most altcoins are either carbon copy of another existing project or just purely copy-pasta of another coin. I saw a lot of meme coins even having variation. I can remember that Shiba coin gave birth to a lot of shit forks/variation with just added color to the name.
1368  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin market, what to expect I'm this season on: March 29, 2022, 04:09:18 PM

Either way both of those would depend on Bitcoin anyway. There are many shitcoins out there so I am not sure what you mean by that alts are safer than meme coins, since both of them are volatile in the end. Only other thing I can say for meme coins is that it is hyped so bad by many influencers out there.
I never saw nor heard an influencer pumped a random altcoin still.
Who knows though I don't care about these type of coins anyway.
1369  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: who is behind shiba inu on: March 28, 2022, 09:34:32 PM

Many fake-toshi out there, bud. I had doubts that s/he or they will come out in public ever to reveal or prove that they're the real Satoshi. Some even speculate that the name Satoshi Nakamoto is not just a person but a group of individuals, although no one is entirely sure of it though.
In the end, it's great that we have something called Bitcoin. Smiley
1370  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we just going around in circles? on: March 27, 2022, 08:40:50 PM

It will. Along with NFTs, although I have a belief that NFTs would somehow stay longer than any of those you mentioned since there is that "interactivity" with these NFTs, let alone those NFT games that were popular since it hit the trend.
There would be a time that these games won't be profitable anymore and that's what they called "too grindy to continue", just like in any shitty MMORPGs there that don't even give you crap for staying up all night.
1371  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Getting more skills in trading on: March 27, 2022, 08:32:32 PM

Reading alone won't give you skills in any field. This is what contributes to trading unlike being self-taught to any other field like programming. In trading, you'll really need to risk your money and test the waters if the strategy or the knowledge you had learned went into full effect.
Some would suggest to a virtual trading or a simulated one, but in that case you wouldn't really have been affected by the losses you make unlike when you're actually the one trading.

Investors were all about the returns anyway, so it is pretty much DOA already if we can tell? Cheesy
I never went for these shitcoins even if they did had strong community. Maybe call me "interested to learn" these coins, but that's pretty much it for me. It is only me, but it won't involve any single penny coming from my own pocket ever.

Edit: Snip error in my side. Cheesy

Logically think about it, people would be buying a lot during bear market for obvious reasons and this coin just blended in. People would just seemingly pump the price unintentionally due to them maybe either hoarding or just buying all the possible shitcoins out there for the hold.
It's always the case though especially if it is a brand-new coin. I highly doubt that it will even survive post-launch.
1374  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: TIPS how to manage from losing when investing new projects. on: March 25, 2022, 09:42:19 PM

People just find it too hard to do DYOR and that's why they are now overlooking it these days and went just like "fuck it, sell it if it does not push through". I still do it though, but I never bothered invested in one since I am full-time hodling Bitcoin.
Most crucial part of me in DYOR, is looking out for paid reviews which are common now these days, since people can just get out of it easily anyway.

For sure it will be more than doing spreadsheet, counting posts, communicating with the team, if it is done out of the forum. I had seen in freelancing sites that this is somehow similar to digital marketing which is relatively a large field to be honest.
In Fiverr, some are even doing it for lower price.
1376  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be cautious regarding highly rated apps on: March 25, 2022, 08:42:44 PM

Just similar when I browse in online shops here in my country. A cheap Iphone with 5 stars ratings like give me a break, lol. Once you looked into the negative ones, you will a single comment with plenty of upvotes.
It is easy to get paid reviews now these days especially that people are willing to do it.
1377  Other / Meta / Re: Please State What Criteria or Reasons Willing to Give Your MERITS to Someone? on: March 25, 2022, 05:44:19 PM

Careful though. Even if the post is quality for you, it could be plagiarized and that would be a waste of merits as that user would be banned anyways.
This is why I do not award merits that easily when a user posts a long wall of a topic.

OP, if the answers of the many already satisfied your question, it would best to lock this topic to avoid further unnecessary answers.
1378  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where should I invest money? on: March 24, 2022, 09:35:32 PM
This thread has turned into a shilling and/or memeing thread  now, lol. I see so many links leading to the project's Twitter page/official website. I usually steer clear of Twitter anyways when it comes to crypto.

No wonder many people are getting scammed now these days. Sad

Newbies should spend more time reading rather than posting/creating topics.
1380  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Avoid PSU overload at all costs on: March 24, 2022, 09:28:18 PM
I am pretty sure this is a common knowledge to everyone building their own Gaming PCs as well as building their own mining rig. Avoid every single generic power supplies also out there. I never built a mining rig, but back then I used a cheap PSU for my PC and the ATX cord to my motherboard just got fried and it was sparking. It was hell of an experience, but good thing I still manage to save my rig. I feared that my CPU was about to get crisped to death along with my Motherboard.

When I see a PSU with a ketchup-mustard cable, I sometimes assume that it is a bad PSU just coming from my experience.
