miscreanity, you have more patience than I.  I give up and this is my last post to this thread.

I've almost been in tears from laughing so hard at some of the stuff posted in this thread. Gotta have fun with it!

+ 1 miscreanity, you do have to always keep your sense of humor through these theads
1802  Economy / Lending / Re: Bryan Micon's List of BTC Ponzi Schemes that should not be listed as "Lending" on: August 22, 2012, 09:16:07 PM
seriously kids, get fucked on this one.  You were all so arrogant to the bitter end.

I'd say the fact that you're still trolling about it, long past the time when anyone can make a deposit or withdrawal on their own proves your own arrogance.  Its not like you can 'warn' anyone off.  You're just trolling for your own amusement.

Seriously why do you create new threads and put your name in the title every time ? I find it egotistical and creepy when someone speaks about themselves in the third person all the time.

Huh?  Surely you aren't talking to me.

u mad braj?

So before BCST went busto it was just FUD?

After BCST went busto it is just trolling?

u mad...

1803  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bryan Micon's Bet That Pirate Pays Back Everyone Thread on: August 22, 2012, 12:00:07 PM
You're not asking people just to gamble on pirate, you're also asking them to gamble on the honesty of PPT operators...

Stick to a simple bet.

Just BurtW and Payb.tc - most people think they would pay if pirate pays - so you are mostly betting on Pirate paying in full.

This is not a troll thread, but a simple example that no one will bet me as stated.

no one thinks Pirate will pay back the 1-5M USD he owes.

UPDATE:  no one has bet me yet

HATERS:  silent

BurtW?  Clipse?  aq?  MissCredency or whatever?  where did these ppl go?  Remember when BurtW posted in his sig BCST wasn't a Ponzi?
1804  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bryan Micon's Bet That Pirate Pays Back Everyone Thread on: August 22, 2012, 10:29:05 AM
i am illustrating the following points:

-- no one believes Pirate will pay
-- ppl make bad bets
-- ppl accept horrible terms
-- ppl use vague language when listing the terms
-- burtW can bet more on Pirate not being a Ponzi if he wants
1805  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bryan Micon's Bet That Pirate Pays Back Everyone Thread on: August 22, 2012, 08:36:44 AM
I will recommend using escrow for this bet as well.

no escrow, do not bet me if you do not agree to terms.
1806  Economy / Lending / Re: Bryan Micon's List of BTC Ponzi Schemes that should not be listed as "Lending" on: August 22, 2012, 08:06:00 AM
oh it's game over man.  When you owe a self-admitted $5M+ USD and you are fighting with bitlane on PM day 3 after payback was to start it's all over but the last few die hards.

1807  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: Bitcoin Savings & Trust - Money Returned List (zero Monday, none reported Tues). on: August 22, 2012, 08:01:52 AM
I'm not sure what the average hashrate of GPUMax is when public work is available, but I would imagine it's considerable. GPUMax also pays out daily, but it's not unusual for there to be a couple day delay before payments are made. If Pirate was about to take off with all the money, it would make sense for him to provide 100% public work for 3 or 4 days that points towards his own private pool. He would get a decent bonus of untraceable coins to add to his tally.

Lol, so suckers gave him $5 million in BTC and they are also mining coins for him?  He has it all figured out.  Genius!

If you just heard about GPUMAX please STFU.

Huh? It is not like all of us have time to read every single thread on this board and chase down references to everything around here.  harsh.

+1 / extremely relevant to find out what Pirate is doing with GPUMAX.  This guy could owe as much as $5M USD+ and you are still somehow allowing him to sell your hashing power?  with 10 other way more reasonable looking mining pools available?

1808  Economy / Gambling / Re: Breaking Bad... Bets on: August 22, 2012, 07:56:41 AM
Weeds was almost believable for a minute then there is a goofy black family selling weed and stealing her car with guns and shit and I even heard that by the end of that series the weeds bitch was banging the Mayor of Mexico or some such nonsense.  Totally fucking ridiculous.

Basically she owns a tunnel to mexico, gets caught, goes to jail, then she is running guns in NYC, while she in a half-way house, pretty much stopped after that. I think the writers were high.

conspiracy theory:  Weeds written by meth head, Breaking Bad written by stoner
1809  Economy / Lending / Re: Bryan Micon's List of BTC Ponzi Schemes that should not be listed as "Lending" on: August 22, 2012, 07:51:01 AM
I would first have to understand why you offer a bet, which, at this time, you are sure to lose, probably entirely obviously in a few days.
That's the $64,000 question, isn't it?

I have speculated much myself.  I cannot figure out why Matt is shooting off so many coins.  I almost feel bad taking them it's so obvious.  Why not stop the bleeding!?  is this being backed by someone else that ain't paying?  Is Matt a fundamentalist Morman and is going to teach us all a less about how betting is wrong? I am going to get this moved to speculation.

shout to AQ / Clipse / BurtW / Imsaguy / Payb.tc  I'm sure you guys are still not sweating it and are like "whatever Pirate has assets and arbitrage, he's just unwinding shit like a boss"

seriously kids, get fucked on this one.  You were all so arrogant to the bitter end.

Trolling and FUD IMO

Nancy will kill Skyler, then team up with Walt... and of course, sleep with Pinkman. Pinkman vs. Andy... taking bets...

Really not sure a Weeds/BB crossover would work unless there were more people for Nancy and Andy to sleep with.

LMAO, certainly seems to be Nancy's solution to everything and at as far as the show is concerned it works for her.

I think weeds has lost its way a bit, Breaking Bad pretty much blew it out of the water as the #1 drug drama show.

weeds went crazy, you could never believe the evolution of the characters, breaking bad, the story evolution makes sense and is believable.

+1

Weeds was almost believable for a minute then there is a goofy black family selling weed and stealing her car with guns and shit and I even heard that by the end of that series the weeds bitch was banging the Mayor of Mexico or some such nonsense.  Totally fucking ridiculous.

Breaking bad in all of it's morally ambiguous fantasy, has always come really close to the "how a smart guy would do it" scenario, save only a few goofy scenes over the 5 seasons that missed the mark

Here is a wager that I am making available that I encourage everyone not to bet me, but I will bet anyone that wants after this warning.

If you think that Pirateat40, a user I believe to be at control of the largest BTC Ponzi in the history of Bitcoin Will make good on all of his obligations to all parties and those parties will then meet all of their obligations to their parties then I will offer you a 1-to-1 wager on any amount.

The terms of this bet, if anyone chooses to make it, are as follows:

-- you must send bitcoins to:  1Jy5Ss8BprE2LHdTfj3KS2wvAm2KaF1zm9  to bet me.  I don't know any of you very well to take any chances.  I understand this may turn you off from betting me.  I'm trying to do so by making this an almost air-tight bet for me to win.  IMO the terms are extremely favorable to me and extremely unfavorable to anyone stupid enough to bet me.  So if you want to bet me still, send coins to the above hash.  No I'm not going to repeat it.

-- I will accept a bet of any size.  Literally any size.  Send 5% of the total bitcoins in circulation to my hash like you guys did to Pirate. I don't care go ahead ship it.   I can accept any amount wagered

In order for you to win the wager:

Pirateat40, Bitcoinmax, and all BurtW-run Pirate Pass-Throughs bonds must pay all obligations in full by 9/1/2012 at 1:11am PST.  If any one account on any one site goes unpaid then I win the wager.

I will be the sole arbiter of this wager.  I am extremely fair and if you do not think so then don't bet me.  The answer to settle this bet will be extremely obvious either way. All accounts.  All Pirate Payback.  I hope you guys have learned your lesson from this and do not bet me.  It's throwing away BTC if you send them to my hash above.  Don't bet me, but I will of course accept all bets if after this you still want to bet on Pirateat40.
1813  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I'm giving 100% ROI away to anyone who thinks pirate is a fraud on: August 21, 2012, 10:24:38 PM
yikes Matt.

I don't know why you are doing it, but I must max-fire to prove my point.  I still feel bad but there can be no half-measures here.

250 BTC

17ByDBb93SP3guxJ7Sqcbz7peoaiBSkGdu

Please cut it off / stop the bleeding for yourself Matt.

1814  Economy / Lending / Re: Bryan Micon's List of BTC Ponzi Schemes that should not be listed as "Lending" on: August 21, 2012, 10:16:18 PM
Up until Monday, he did whatever we wanted.  If we wanted payments, he did payments.  If we wanted withdrawals, he did withdrawals.  He never pushed us in either direction.  The stability bonus was never intended to be tied to interest payments and had no bearing.  Whoever says pirate encouraged reinvesting is just plain lying and spreading fud.  Now that he's unwinding, I'd expect the interest payments to change from the status quo, instead paying interest when he closes the account.

imsaguy spreading his typical foggy nonsense. Or can anybody here possibly make sense of that garbage?

You are either one of pirate's helpers or one of his accounts. Time to shut up, don't you think?

What is foggy about it?  I am my own person.  He doesn't pay me anything more or less than any other person invested in him. He doesn't tell me anything directly, I only learn it like everyone else in #btcst.

And you still claim to be watching the same thing we are?

1816  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Hey Pirate, it's Monday....WHERE ARE MY BITCOINS ? on: August 21, 2012, 09:45:36 AM
Meanwhile, Liberty Reserve is mass closing down account
It is possible that :

1. "Someone" exchanged significant amount of Bitcoins to LR $ in various "mini" LR account after the "operation" is successful
2. Liberty Reserve doesn't have enough massive "reserve" to cover that up
3. Liberty Reserve goes into "maintenance" mode for 2 days until this pirate incident is clear

Note :
LR is hacker's preferred payout choice during bitcoinica and other bitcoin "hack".

interesting find.  would love to have on bitlane on DonkDown radio on Wed.

1817  Economy / Service Discussion / Bryan Micon's BitcoinMax Discussion Thread [orignal thread locked] on: August 21, 2012, 09:16:11 AM
Payb.tc has locked the original BitcoinMax thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=83904.0

1)  Mods this should not be allowed.  There is a major "possible" scam going down that Payb.tc helped perpetuate in one of the largest ways possible and discussion of BitcoinMax is extremely relevant at this time.  Pirate pulled a similar move with his thread so he could not be discredited with logic and reasoning and continue to scam another week or two.

2)  Let this thread serve as discussion about BitcoinMax while the original thread is closed.

My personal thoughts on this matter:

-- it is extremely scummy for Payb.tc to lock the thread preventing discussion at this critical time
-- Payb.tc said something that made me understand why he is so mad

Quote from: Payb.tc
Q. does everyone think 100% of my BST account belongs to 'bitcoinmax' and has had no other (private) cashflow whatsoever?

yikes.  So at this stage it is reasonable to assume that not only did Payb.tc gather up all the smaller monies to send to Pirate in 1 big payment each week ("small accounts welcome" - remember?) in addition to doing that amazing task for the scammer he also sent him a bunch of his own BTC and now has to deal with guys like me pointing out that he is scumbag for now not revealing the true size of his BCST account.   I feel this information is extremely relevant.  The biggest BTC debtor to date must owe a sick amount of BTC - maybe even as much as 5% of it - to the community - weather he pays or not, it's important to gauge the size of his obligation to better manage expectations no matter which side you are rooting for.
1818  Economy / Long-term offers / Re: [POLL] How will Pirateat40's debt repayment unfold? on: August 21, 2012, 09:01:05 AM
1)  I voted that he will not pay back because he is running an obvious Ponzi scam slightly updated to use BTC.  Pirate's object was to put many bitcoins into a wallet he controls, and he has done that.  He does not care about you or your lost BTC or your feelings or family.  It takes a real hard core scumbag to run a Ponzi.  This is literally a 100 yr old scam executed almost to the letter.

2)  It is amazing how long some of the marks are holding on to hope that he pays this community the $1M+ USD he scammed from them.  It will be interesting to see which ones hold on longest.
1819  Economy / Lending / Re: Bryan Micon's List of BTC Ponzi Schemes that should not be listed as "Lending" on: August 21, 2012, 08:53:04 AM
[21:04]   <pirateat40>   Trading vs Shutting Down is a much harder than just clicking a button. There is A LOT of money moving around and I want this done as orderly as possible. The process began last night and has been happening all day but its not something that happens over night. The repayment will begin with the earliest investors first, but its tricky cause some of them now run PPT accounts which isn't fair to some. When coins being to move I'll let everyone know. BTW, No you can not buy your way to the front, so stop asking.
[21:17]   <pirateat40>   I'm handling the process as fast as possible. At no point did I say it would be fast and easy, I said it would be done. Thanks for your patience, I'm always watching. Stay tuned.
[21:19]   <pirateat40>   Trading coins from hands to hands is not the same as trading out the coins to be returned.
[21:20]   <ErebusBat>   I am assuming you ca not elaborate, yet, pirateat40. But thanks for the update
[21:21]   <pirateat40>   ErebusBat, the more I talk the more questions, emails and pm's I get.
[21:23]   <pirateat40>   I can't be everyone's best friend and I'm sorry if I step on toes, but I'm wanting things to go as fast as you guys do.
[21:25]   <pirateat40>   Now, back to your regularly scheduled trolling.

seems to be from today / got this from Maged's thread in important announcements https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=101339.0

This should be considered the second stall.  Remember, Pirateat40's game now is the infinite stall - from this point forward there will only be vague excuses and very close to zero block-chain verified large payments.  There is a small chance of 1 or 2 payouts to a smaller pass throughs to give the appearance of the beginning of payments, but very unlikely.
