1481  Economy / Gambling / Micon's Shenanigans Bitcoin Gambling Update on: December 04, 2012, 01:16:28 AM
I am going to maybe make this a regular thing, once every 6 months or so update the shenanigans gambling sites that are certain to sprout up from the easy of BTC integration and general continued increase in world wide acceptance.

1482  Economy / Gambling / Re: SealsWithClubs.eu | Largest Bitcoin Poker Site | No Banking | Fast Cashouts on: December 02, 2012, 06:28:09 PM
ok,

so I don't want to do anything that is against the site rules.

Would I be able to load up say 50 coins in a new account called "Xmas1" with a temp password

and give it to a family member as a present?  I'd like to do that for many family members to try out the site.

However, I didn't want to do this if you'd prefer people make their own accounts.

Please advise!

this is completely legal.  I personally call these "burner accounts" and have made them for my friends to try out Seals as well.

1484  Economy / Gambling / Re: The Biggest Fish - cooperative gambling game! on: December 02, 2012, 02:32:51 PM
I often double or triple click on a fish that I had only planned to attack only once, especially if I have 2 windows open at the same time on a split screen in order to get the cursor live on the other window & end up doing 2 or 3 bites in quick succession when I'd rather do 1 bite then reload my balance to match the other fish if I lost before making a second attempt, it's my fault & I should have learned by now to be more careful as I've done this repeatedly but if there was either a confirmation pop up for each attack or a delay of 10 seconds or something before one could re-attack the same fish then that would solve this, but if it interfered with smooth game play for others then np as I do think now I will not make this same mistake again but expect that others will get caught out by this though. Even some other place to click in order to be in attack mode again (one's own fish, octopus, a base line spot) would stop inadvertent multi-bites, or a choice of single shot/bite versus repeater/automatic mode would be ideal as a setting for one's fish so one would need to click somewhere (anywhere) other than the fish just attacked before re-attacking it when in single bite mode.

I loaded up a bunch of windows / loaded a fish I think to bite you Otoh and it 3x-bit

that being said I am still a huge supporter of Biggest Fish and think it's awesome.  I'm sure the "multi-bite" issue will be fixed quickly.

to be clear, this means you lost, right?

payout = 0?  = donkdown?

yes, full loss.

Byron Micon's Poker Ponzi

I rate this poker playing AAA-

It's important to pick out the trolls from the absolute solid gold comedy.  Clearly we have the latter on our hands.  Patrick Harnett + Wife, wherever you may be, this one is for you.

"Bryan Micon's Lose Your Poker Money Buying Thread"

hrm.  Seems naive.

An amazing poker tournament player with an extremely high ROI will cash about 16% of the time.  When you win, you usually win many times the buy in.  In this latest case one of the smaller field tournaments I will play in a year, you win 18x your buy in.  Of course you are going to lose many times, even with a skill advantage, to average a win.

I have my full live results in my signature, and every WSOP I don't need to convince sharp gamblers to back me - they come to me and ask what is available.  I am going to keep listing poker tournaments here, and I will hit one eventually.

It's fine to make fun because humans do that for whatever reason but those that understand the gamble here will keep betting on me.

How much did the winner win?

My buddy Pat "thakilla" Cruse ended up winning the tourney and a little more than $18k+

got rollin' up to 17k,

blinds 150-300 a25 and I find AK in the sb.

Raise UTG to 675  early, call, call, call, button folds, then the super-button calls, I make it 2700, original raiser folds, first caller makes it 6800, everyone folds back to me, I shove, and he calls quickly with AA

K-x-x flop and had the 2 outer twice and Q river teased but donkdown Sad

I liked the way I played the tournament, really disappointing to be out right now, wanted to play that all night of course.

Anyone know how to script me up a bot to keep topping up a fish that gets bit?  May just make it rain Miconfish...

I can do that for you.

The API's not ready yet, he's just listing the features it will provide.  But when it's done I'll make you a bot to keep your fish fed.

Dooglus, as I'm sure you have already theorized, I will need a fully autonomous army of regenerative fish that when given the signal will attack with the ferocity of 1000 armies.

I'll be heading to Cali to talk to different people, like Kid Cudi, soon.  Just need to sell this watch and remaining silver.

Holy shit this one is special.

This thread, started by the lowest of the hanging fruit, has now gone from Ponzi, through music, all the way to going to Cali to meet Kid Cudi.  Yes, this thread, on the umpteenth delusional tangent, has gotten to Kid Cudi.

Mods lock it up, ship it to the hall of fame (is there a hall of fame here?  If so this thread is a first-ballot lock)

I'm going to make the bets of bitcoin right now...

Just like to drop in and say that Teppy is one hell of an admin.

He is so passionate about his project and so good at making the endless world that you must make for MMORGs to be fun.

this is such a unique and complex gambling product that is of course only made possible by btc.  when a user smokes, and the btc wafts through the air, and the other users rush to it... you can't get that social gaming aspect if you don't have something slightly valuable, because as we have learned we are all selfish, highly evolved animals looking out for #1.  But it's amazing... a btc MMORG preys on the human nature of wanting a little bit of money for doing something.  It satisfies the brain really well, and I just want to publicly blow Teppy a little bit for being so awesome and staying so dedicated to his project.

A shining example of a well-run btc gambling business bringing something totally new and never done before.   In full disclosure, Teppy bought advertising on DonkDown, but my reputation is pretty stellar for not being paid to say anything.  These are my genuine thoughts after running around DT, getting to level 2 with some help, and sailing to the special island.  I just signed up for the Dec. 2nd tournament.  I still don't have a clue what the competition will entail, but I'm in and I love it.

Will there be an API built?

I'd like to have some fish re-feeding bots set up by mid-December

OK.

1. Get the list of visible fish (id, name, website, weight)
2. Bite a particular fish
3. Get Diary entries (with ids to know who ate ur fish)

Requests will be sent as HTTP POST with POST parameters. Responses will be sent as JSON.

Is it enough?

I was only half-joking.  I feel we will need cash-in address as well to make this work... I can understand keeping withdraws manual.

TY to all who showed up for the 210k block party rebuy tourney

By the numbers:

108 entrants showed up and made, 215 rebuys at .05 btc a piece.  20 players walked away with coin, and Svarne2 won 7000 chips for dodging that minefield.

JOIN US DECEMBER for tons more promotions at Seals - we are growing nicely and have insanely low rake - and then we give you back some of that even with a crazy amount of promotions and added rakeback and such.  I very proud to help make a site that while small is groundbreaking in how little we take from a poker economy.  Shit, I'm very proud to say that we have a tiny little poker economy.  It is very fun to work on this project and I hope anyone with traffic joins the affiliate program.  Also if you are Zuckerberg+ with that windows programming get at me or Freemoney.  Always looking for sharp ppl to help us.
