Well, it looks like we are days away from testing the btc-address escrow tool.

I am interested in betting on future BFL shipping dates.  

If anyone is looking for a bet, I will bet 5 coins minimum and 250 coins max that the following statement is false:

"by 5/15/2013 Butterfly Labs ships products to 3+ forum members unconnected to the company and the devices achieve 350+ Mhash/Joule"

I have a feeling this bet, like the previous 3, will not have an issue determining the winner, i.e. I don't think it will be "close" but if so the escrow we have used is Mike Caldwell to call it.  His btc-address tool will be used for escrow, with Mike in control of both invite codes.  

yup, i can confirm this.

SwC will be back on PokerScout as soon as we get a small technical issue with it resolved. 

Most of our players will rest easier knowing this reporting function was put off until all security and game issues were beat to death. 

IMO o/u 70 hours it will be back.

1)  hrm.... 250ish current connections and mine from Vegas is working fine..

2)  forwarding Aussie connectivity issues to ST6 so they can investigate

4)  Seriously a big personal thanks for the outpouring of support for SwC when we were down.   You guys drive us to make it better all the time, and I want to reassure our ravenous player base that we are currently going HAM to make the best, most complete, lowest rake poker site ever.

Seems to be back and fully functional. 

About to play a bit to make sure it stays smooth.

If the attack continues, we will continue to improve the technology needed to fight it. 

SealsWithClubs will never pay a ransom (although there was none requested during this attack) and will vigorously defend this site against all future attacks.  We will never quit and will always grind towards the solution.

Update:

fresh off the phone with Freemoney & ST6. 

Progress made, new datacenter online, server restoration started.

My personal best guess is still hours and hours away.

Freemoney + Seal Team 6 is working constantly, and as of now is actively engaged in server conditioning.

Should still be hours and hours, but the boys are on it and the end of this process should be massive DDoS protection by a company that specializes in it and SealsWithClubs running on a much faster machine. 

While that doesn't help anyone out right now and we apologize for the extended downtime, we are doing our best and think the end result will be a much stronger SwC.

again I ask for patience and to bear with us.  It sucks.  I want it back too.  Freemoney likely wants it back most.  or maybe Crosby.

1)  This current downtime is used to make for more uptime in the future

2)  The Mavens component functioned just fine in this instance.  The DDoS was the issue this time.

3)  As many of our players have likely seen with the rapid development of various SwC organs, let me assure you the technical team I refer to as Seal Team 6 is hard at work as we speak upgrading many components of this site.  We are cooking up a badass low rake poker.  Sit tight, we got you.

fyi to anyone with *this* type of an issue, this is obviously a coinbase issue, as SwC (when it's turned on) is processing btc just fine.

2nd, yes, the site is still down.  Freemoney is on it.  Will update when I interrupt their work to ask what's going on
