1281  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: BITMAIN Antminer support thread on: January 16, 2014, 06:36:38 AM
Has anyone discovered how to clock these to 375 ?
nope, scratching my head. also emailed ktzhan, waiting for a reply. Any inputs would be welcome.

Code:
        #option 'freq_value'    '0780'  #400M
        #option 'freq_value'    '4e81'  #375M
        #option 'freq_value'    '4d81'  #350M
        #option 'freq_value'    '4c81'  #325M
        #option 'freq_value'    '0580'  #300M
        #option 'freq_value'    '0981'  #250M
        #option 'freq_value'    '4f02'  #190M

Simple pattern matching suggests that for 375 the last 2 hex digits probably would be 0x..81

So.... by looking at this table, smaller than 25mhz adjustments have to be possible, look at that 190M value.... gotta figure this out.

So after some trial and error the numbers that end in 80 go in 50mhz increments. 0580 -300mhz   0680  -350mhz    0680 -400mhz
hrm... I wonder if its some sorta multi / divider type thing goin on. I wonder what happens if we go to '82' on the end....
1282  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: BITMAIN Antminer support and OverClocking thread on: January 16, 2014, 06:17:57 AM
Curious, anyone know what the '81' is ... ?
Its listed in every freq_value
ie: 4e81, 4f81, 5081 etc...

So, I upgraded to the 1226 firmware ... and cgminer is running at like 100% cpu usage..... this normal?
1284  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 open for sale again] The last round before the Chinese New Year on: January 15, 2014, 07:35:58 PM
Just wanna state that the antminer S1 from the first firesale of 30 units @ 2.4btc showed up =) and as he stated, because I pointed out a bug on the site, there was a free U1 USB miner sitting in it ...woot
Smoothest ASIC purchase ever.
1285  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon ASIC users thread on: January 15, 2014, 06:55:50 PM
Anyone know the maximum current the onboard fan headers can supply ... on avalon gen1 b2?

12v 1.5A.

You might be able to 3Amp fan in but the more amperage the fan is the more stress you put on the power supply.

You talking about the actual PSU in the avalon or the power circuitry on the control board the fans plug into? Cuz I dont wanna blow up the control board.

bleh the promised lead time is much worse than the 2.4btc sale, which was a lead time of only 2 days.

1288  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: hashra.com - CCBMC 230 GH/S Bitcoin Miner, legit? on: January 15, 2014, 07:08:40 AM
looks like the avy2 boxes, now if the seller is legit...who knows..
That 290GH claim is bs.... thats on the 5s measurement and the rig only been on for freakin 3minutes.
1500mhz on avy2 is like 240-250GH/s I believe...

https://blockchain.info/address/1KFHE7w8BhaENAswwryaoccDb6qcT6DbYY

This address is getting an insane amount of block finds and is causing other blocks to be orphaned. When they find blocks, its usually 4-5 blocks in a matter of a few minutes each day. Could they be trying to pull off that attack described a couple months ago? (I forgot the name of it)
Either way, I notice their blocks are causing other pools to get orphaned. Todays blocks caused a ghash.io block to get orphaned.

How much longer are the 1/7 orders delayed?

seems 4 days , we are so sorry

are you fucking kidding me? this means orders on 1.10.14 wont ship till like a week or 2 from now?

I believe a partial refund is in order ... this is utter bullshit. Next time dont say you have 500 in stock, unless they really in stock and ready to be shipped. Not, have to be assembled n crap... ugh

1299  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Setup & Troubleshoot] Bitmain AntMiner S1 180GH/S miner on: January 12, 2014, 07:42:26 PM
So, I read the warnings that at its max clock of 400mhz its pushing what the VRM's can handle and can cause harm. Has anyone mined @ 400mhz w/o issue?
Is there any way to see the VRM temps? I imagine as long as the VRM's are cool its fine at 400mhz

Its really cold right now, and my avalon mines @ 22c(hottest temp) in the garage .. I plan on putting antminer in there as well, would it be fine at 400mhz in same temps?

Im just trying to figure out if 400mhz is really pushing it ... PERIOD or if its for people who are dumb and run it at 400mhz in really hot environments, therefore causing risk for it to melt =P
