Good stuff, thanks for the pic! Is that 12AWG wiring?
Any chance I can get another picture of how you're splitting each cable to the ant miners?
nope, its just harvested 18awg wire from random shit PSU's I have laying around. Im just evenly splitting the cables ... 2x cables per terminal, 3x each gnd / 12v to each blade =)

highly recommend paying weekly to avoid tremendously high tx fees ... when people go to spend these payouts...

Guys, should be looking at the brightside of things.... Who cares if these are "used", so what, he made a killing off them before we did... all ASIC manufacturers do this. these were never advertised as new, just in stock and ready to ship. Should be grateful that we got a good price on them and that they work.

Apparently a 530W psu can run a standard (not over clocked) S1. So you'll need 2.12kW to run 4 (530*4). These are all my assumptions, but sushi told me that 530W should be able to run a 180gh/s S1.
The 500w measurement is completely false, was done w/ a shitty PSU. At the wall w/ a 80+ GOLD @ 120v, I see about 1w / mhz, so 400mhz is about 400w! Take 10% off that and these use roughly 360w @ 400mhz, on the PSU itself.

Something strange happened while overclocking today. I forgot to put the # in front of the 350. So I had both 375 and 350 running at the same time. When I first rebooted the miner, for a couple of minutes it was running at 532Ghs, I should have took a screen shot. It finally came down to 400, then 300 and around 210. I was having no HW pop at all, and it was still running at 350. Any thoughts about this. If i continued with both of them, would I damage chips? Thanks in advance..
Im gonna go out on a limb and say its impossible to *damage* the chips w/ incorrect frequency settings. I know it can cause the clock gen to hang, depending on the incorrect setting, and require a power cycle *happened to me*.... but since we are just messing w/ clock gen and not voltage control....I doubt its possible to do long term damage via just clock settings.

tomorrow the last day for ordering right? Has BITMAIN updated anything regarding orders/availability timeframe since the 21st?

So far after 4 hrs @ 400, I only have 4 HW showing. Seem to have a lot of Discarded, around 1/7th of Accepted, normal? Pool is showing 20 min/ 3hr averages right around 200 GH/s, so it must be ok.
damn lucky bastards @ 400mhz ... grats =)

Just throwing in my quick PSU experience.... I have an overclocked Antminer running on a Corsair RM 650, and it runs fine =) I think any good quality 650w+ PSU with a single rail is all you need to run one of these.
How many watts at the wall? 120V? My kill-a-watt says it only takes 420w peak at the wall, which seems really low to me and makes me wonder if it is broken =). Yeah, it is a standard 20amp, 120v line. If you look at the specifications for the RM650, it can carry a full 650w on the 12v rail, which makes it nice for powering an antminer that runs at about 80% of that, I think. You got a so so PSU for 420w =P I have 2 antminers on 2 80+ GOLD PSU's and they each draw about 380-390w @ 393mhz

good news, but I dont see it anywhere on their website =(

Im curious, has anyone gotten any version of the firmware to NOT use 100% CPU ... cgminer uses 100% CPU when mining. Even my avy b2 didnt have this problem..

Whoever said these antminers use 500w @ 400mhz has got to be smoking shit and laying it out to rot.... I don tknow about the exact "400mhz" ... but at 393mhz my unit uses only 394w at the wall @ 120v AC on a 80+ GOLD PSU - Rosewill Capstone 750W
These miners are pretty close to 1w / mhz w/ a good PSU... Im damn impressed!
Im gettin a plat PSU tomorrow and a 700w dell server PSU in coming days... will wire up both and try n give more effeciency reports =)
Just for info, since you have a killwatt measuring device. Power up the PS with the jump the goodpower (greenwire) trick and plug in some known device like a old HD. Nothing else. See what the PS pulls with a lite load, and report it here please. It would be that draw - minused off the total of the miner runnin all hooked back up, to see what it really pulls. Would cost some coin bits tho, downtime to do it. Naw, not really, PSU's are horribly inefficient w/ barely any load. I go based on reviews what my PSU efficiency is then calculate that as part of the usage.
