In last one decade Pakistan suffers badly due to terrorism issues and unable to play at home which hurts them very badly otherwise Pakistan is still top ranked team in test history with their overall percentage now after successful tour of Australia we can say they will do some better and take higher rank in ICC test ranking which could be third or fourth is surely in near future which could be increased after some good number of matches.

But, if someone says Pakistan is not good test side it's his own view without checking all details about test history and their record because Pakistan is fourth-best test playing cricket side in test history.

Recently we have some good decline in test matches which is surely hurting few countries because ICC is never been a good sports authority which can handle this all fairly, so it's beneficial for few countries so if they manage for all then surely we can expect some good results from other countries as well.

Despite no cricket at home grounds for almost a decade Pakistan still manages to attract Australia at home. I know its hard for few people to digest this fact that Pakistan is one of best side despite losing the test series 1-0 to top team like Australia. Its just one series, give Pakistan home series like other countries are having and then say they are not among top teams.

Pakistan had great fast bowlers in the past and can you compare any of those legendary players with the bowlers Pakistan have right now. They had some great batsman who dominated any bowlers on their given day and now they had Babar Azam in that same standard and now they need to identify similar great players and then we can say they have a great Test team that can dominate anyone.

Pakistan do have some great young fast bowlers. Examples are Shaheen Shah Afridi, Naseem Shah and Muhammad Hasnain. Babar Azam is already being considered as one of the legends in international cricket. The same may happen with some of the younger bowlers, but it takes time. I don't know which one among the group will establish themselves in the future, but in the 90s, bowlers like Waqar Younis and Aaqib Javed started like them only. All that said, Pakistan first need to prepare quality tracks that offer some support for these bowlers.

In Test cricket, Pakistan is obviously not one of the best teams because Obviously, they are sixth in the standings. and it is not just good enough to say that they are one of the best.
if there were a lot more teams playing like 50 or 60 and among them Pakistan was sixth, then it would have been ok to say that they are one of the top teams,
but there are only 10 teams playing regularly and being the six amongst them is not good enough to be a top team.

I really don't think it is going to be the same after the rehabilitation. In the past, we have seen the same case where a bowler has to undergo rehabilitation and he was not the same bowler after he was cleared to play. He needs all the support from the Pakistan cricket board that he can get. but I highly doubt that he is going to be the same bowler with the same set of skills after this.

No doubt it's very hard for anyone to do this but keep one thing in mind age factor is still with this wonder kid, and he can do things even it's going to take some time because it's not all over for him PCB is doing some good work. Surely one poor thing is happening in Pakistan they are not doing any good and authentic work for checking these guys before their International entry, so it's hurting many guys hopefully in near future we will have some good changes in this way as well because now things are changing in positive way very quickly for them and after successful PSL and Australian tour they are feeling some healthy in financial sector which was concern for them in the past.

If we have some not wholesale changes in near then surely PCB could be on track for these young guys, and they will lead from front for their country in this fast bowling.

Only if they play in franchise T20 cricket or international matches, the suspect bowling action is reported. Nowadays the technology has progressed a lot, and many of the domestic matches are being broadcasted or streamed live. Now this increases the chance of suspect action getting noticed by the match officials. Now coming to Hasnain, chances are low that he will be able to perform at his previous level. But let's be hopeful.

I know that he is not old but the problem is when you have to change your bowling action with a natural way to do something is taken away from you and that is not helpful. It obviously takes time to get used to a new action for anyone. We have seen Shane Warne having to change the bowling action because of his injury and after that, he was not as effective.

The best thing about this kid is he has time on his side. He is not old and has a lot of time to improve. But the problem is if he does not perform at his previous level he might just get overlooked, which can be detrimental to any player in his career.

Yes he is very young and if his board can help him he can definitely come back to international cricket. But this will take time and he must not panic as he has lots of time to recover. He is just 22 years and played around 25 international games for Pakistan.

Abdul Qadir, Saqlain, Mushtaq, Wasim etc were lucky enough to play cricket before the era of this technology and Big-3. Now only players of small boards action are reported, you will never see any talented bowler from big 3 getting banned. Now there is need to have some sort of guidance during initial days of bowler to report his action.

Shoaib Akhtat action was not fixed rather he was given benefit of the fact that he has some built-in jerk in his hand. At that time ICC rules were not that much strict and every board has same representation. Apart from Shoaib there are other fast bowlers too like Muhammad Asif,  Aamir, Shaheen etc.
