They will be in the playoffs but honestly it's a different story when they are in the playoffs. This team's lack of defense is not something I admire during the playoffs as we know how physical the game in the playoffs. They need to improve their defense first as that's their weakness based on my observation.

I like the ball movement, they are like a young Warriors, but the Warriors are a team who have a balance offense and defense.
Your observation is interesting!
I confess that I was happy with the performance of the Kings this season, and consequently their participation in the playoffs this season.

As usual, I always talk to my friends, the playoffs are the place that separates the men from the children.
The playoffs are very competitive, and a very important factor is the experience that some players need to perform satisfactorily in the playoffs.

As it has been years since the Kings reach playoffs, I speculate that they will lose quickly during the first rounds, defense, experience are one of the important factors to stand out the playoffs.
In addition to that are the possible injuries before or during playoffs that could greatly affect their teams' fate. Playoffs are more intense than the regular season. Just look at Harden when he was still at Rockets. He is superb in regular season but dubbed as choker in playoffs.

Kings' last playoff appearance was the 2005 -06 season. To be able to reach where they are right now is really surprising. Kings will surely give a tough fight in playoffs. I can say their future is bright as long as no injuries will happen.

Meanwhile, Giannis and Middleton are listed as probable to return vs Pistons.

I don't expect them to be that dominating in the playoffs as well.
I commend the Celtics last season for how they played in the whole playoffs and take note that there are some of them who are inexperienced in the playoffs.

I always believe that playoff experience for both players and coaches matter. Playoff experience will affect the decisions of the whole team in different situations. As for the Kings, I only see Barnes and Dellavedova as the only players who has a playoff experience with the whole team and the rest doesn't have. You said young Warriors. Look at their coach, Mike Brown. He is the assistant coach of the Warriors and won 3 titles with them so his experience with the Warriors so he learned how Steve Kerr's playstyle, but with a balanced approach.

Defense is a big role when it comes to playoffs and again, let's see the Celtics last season and how good they are defensively. Their defense is the main reason why they entered the NBA Finals. Overall, I don't see the Kings that dominating in the playoffs.

They will be moving to the next round but the real competition is just started after the elimination, they will be tested if how
far the offense and defense cna bring them a win.

Good point, it's a seperation between experienced squad agaisnt the non-experienced, it will be a good testing ground for them.

Hopefuly they wil manage to adjust and win some games or even excite the fans to push the series to a do-or-die game.

What happen to the Warriors vs Nets game?

I didn't bet on this game so I didn't watch, but I checked the score and Warriors is leading by 10 points and I said that yeah, probably double digit win by the Warriors and probably those who bet on the handicap is going to win.

But when I come back later I was surprised to see the score as the Nets won by 4 points at Chase center?

I would say it's a huge upset, Warriors have a very impressive record at home and they usually are good in taking care of their lead but this team they failed my expectation. Good for you because you didn't bet this game, me, I regret betting on the Warriors because they lose, would be fine if they won and did not cover.

Sometimes this happens, the game consists of four quarters and if the team decided that they had already won this game before they ended, then wait for a surprise. We saw this recently in the match between the Lakers and the Grizzlies, it seemed that this game was lost for the Lakers, but in the last quarter they made a very good breakthrough and played well on defense, this brought them the victory.

Kyrie Irving happened.  Cheesy Then, a big help came from Nic Claxton earning a big number on both the offensive and defensive end. 24 points, 15 boards, and 3 blocks. He does it all in the paint. Steve Kerr tried the "Hack-a-Claxton" strategy but he somehow sinks some of those free throws, Draymond won't even let him get the ball up so that he will earn in the free throw line too. Still, they managed a win.
I think the defense was one of their keys as they put more pressure on all three-point shooters of the Warriors. Seth and Royce especially keep on moving their feet to force them to just score a two instead of a three. It's a good game, I am happy I took the +8.5 in the first half for the Nets.

Great day and great win for the Lakers. Who else taught the game was over at the half? and when the Lakers was down by 25 at one point of the game? Dangg! Do the Lakers need to be rebuilt? or they just need more time to stick together as a team?
Coz I can see a lot of underrated guys, especially on the defensive end, like Pat Bev and Schroder. Westbrook was also silent even without filling the stat sheet, but the impact his making while on the floor is actually underrated. T. Bryant on the other hand is quite working on improving and making himself more valuable in the absence of AD.

Schroder was a huge addition to the team, he was just new but he was already vital for the team. This man has now  a chance to be offered a decent contract again and hopefully this team he will not refuse it. The run of the Lakers now are good, despite not having AD, they are still winning games.

Lakers are now rank number 12, but they can be in the top 8 if Davis will come back and they'll improve as  team.

Yes, it was a huge win by the Lakers against Portland, Trailblazers took a big lead 25 points, but then they were outscored in just one quarter, in the 3rd, by 20 points.

After that, you can smell the Lakers wanting to get this win, Bryant has as huge game and so is Dennis Schroder hitting those big 3's in the 4th quarter. And Pat has that one steal against Dame pushing the Lakers as well. They will just have to play with this kind of intensity regardless if it is a home or away and then wait for AD to make a comeback.

The Blazers are completely the same team, they don't have the kind of defense that brings championships, even the rebounding, it was controlled by the Lakers. Their good shooting alone will not last in a tight game because defense wins games all the time. If Blazers will still struggle this season, I think it's wise if they will rebuild and find a way to trade Lillard.

I agree and this time they will gonna end up not getting to the NBA playoffs because they haven't changed the way they play and also they lose some good players along the way throughout the years. They really need to consider fixing their rosters and following the current trend which is getting another star player to build a stronger team to compete for a championship. The time when a star player can push his team up to the finals is long gone, nowadays you need to be real because the other teams with multiple stars on them are really dominating the leagues right now.

I always wanted Denver Nuggets to surpass Boston and lead the overall NBA win-loss race. But today its 9-game winning streak ended. Unlucky for them since Jokic is out and we do not know how long he will sit. MPJ was also absent but I thought that they can continue their winning ways with Murray, Gordon, and KCP running the offense. Bet lost as Oklahoma's thunder torched them in a close game. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is a different animal this season and OKC should start building the team around him.

I agree with you on that, SGA is such and underrated player, we are not talking about him but he always showed his consistency by dropping huge numbers in every game. He stopped the win streak of the Nuggets with his winning shot, this team deserves huge respect for what they have achieved this season so far. Currently tied with the Warriors in ranking, number 11 to be exact but if the trend will continue, they might make it to the playoffs.

A big offensive power of the Thunder. An all-around player, the type of player that is rare to see.
They are winning games because of him, consistency is there, but he needs better teammates. We wait for Chet Holmgren to heal next season, maybe that will be the one missing piece of the puzzle. All of the efforts of SGA will be a waste for now, if they don't make it to the playoffs. But next season, it might become a better one.

Did you guys see the hilarious thing done by Patrick Beverley in Portland?
Here.

He made fun of the Dame time like the watch is broken. PatBev never ceases to amaze me with all the brainy actions he can do to mess with people.
The Lakers did win on the road, so it's cool.

The Lakers are not actually playing as a team in my opinion right now. They are actually depending on certain players too much to do all the work. And they are actually winning because of those. Incredible individual performances. I believe they should try to perform more like a team. But the positive thing is that they are at least getting the results. And I also believe that after Davis comes back, they will start performing a lot better. I also believe that they will have to be a little better defensively.

Defense is a big role when it comes to playoffs and again, let's see the Celtics last season and how good they are defensively. Their defense is the main reason why they entered the NBA Finals. Overall, I don't see the Kings that dominating in the playoffs.

The Kings are a very young team. I do not expect them to dominate the playoffs but getting there with this young roster is already an achievement. This team needs experience in the playoffs, and it is good that they are getting it. With the right management, this team will be dangerous in the years to come. Just like the Celtics, when Tatum was not so successful in the playoffs as well but the Celtics sticked to their young cores, developed them and now they are reaping the fruits. Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum are now at their peak and ready to take the championship. I think the same can be expected with the Kings if they play their cards right.

Rooting for Sacramento this season, I hope they could have a good run during playoff. But there's just a problem that I can see with the team, they are the halftime boss right now, they score 60+ 70+ during the first half which is a good thing but after that I feel like they are comfortable with such a high lead which makes the other team in heat to comeback. I didn't imagine Philadelphia would win without Harden and Embiid of their last game  Huh and they choked big time!

I have to admit, there are some young talents but I don't think Lakers can hold on too long, they have to rebuild soon enough. Ok, they have Lebron, one of the top players of all time and even one of the best currently, at the age of 38. But for how long? He single-handedly held the Lakers in the race in an environment where Anthony Davis had been absent for a month. Had the mavericks and sixers games lost in the final moments been won, the team would have been in a much better place. And even Austin Reaves and Lonnie Walker have been absent for a long time. If the Lakers are winning games with the less talented, shooting handicapped guys and somehow they're still fighting, it's thanks to Lebron's inhumane performance. It is not a job for a 38-year-old man to play this perfectly. He is like a machine. I don't know if it's the goat, but he is immensely huge, that's for sure. This doesn't mean a rebuild is needed. And a rebuilding seems not far away in my opinion.

Sacramento Kings are 3rd in Western Conference! Just let it sink in guys because this is a real achievement from a small team that have been working hard in silence for all this years and finally they are having a great season. This small club really deserves more as we see people are back in the court when team is playing and if we take a look 2 years ago on Sacramento games , we will have saw empty seats over empty seats but it's not the case anymore.

Even if they lost last night , they still scored 127 points without having a great defense game because hey , no one is playing defense anymore this season ...
Aside from the Pelicans which I think will be the "Dark Horse" of the league, the Kings are the ones who I didn't thought that will surprise me.

The Kings-Pacers trade that involved Sabonis and Haliburton is the first time that I see both teams benefitted from it. I mean often times, we always see trades where one team is obviously winning while the other one is losing. On this one, both teams benefitted and they are performing better than they was last season. Haliburton is leading the league right now in assists with 10.2 APG while on the other hand, Sabonis is the one who is leading in rebounds with 12.6 RPG. Both teams benefitted from the trade and now Sabonis and Haliburton are playing on their best season currently.

The Kings finally after the playoff drought has the change to enter the playoffs this season. With them at the 3rd spot, there is a high chance that they will enter. I just hope that they will perform the same or even better when the all-star game ends because I already saw some teams who played very well before the all-star game and ended up badly and performed awful after.

We can't know for sure, I mean, yes, experience do prevails when it comes to playoffs where all games are intense as they can't afford to lose even one game in the whole series because that would risk them to an elimination. But there are times that even a non-experienced team can defeat a team that has been marinated throughout the time but let's see how far can the Kings go on in the post season.
