I think people underestimate what Ayton can do for the Lakers. While he's not as impressive as the other big man.

I honestly thought he was already set to retire, so I was surprised when I saw the news that he signed with the Kings, and with a pretty solid deal too. Three years for $45 million isn’t bad at all. At least he secured a good contract before eventually hanging it up.

I guess that as long as there will be offers for him, he'll just take them. The figures are still good and life changing and so, as long as he can play in the NBA he'll play.

He's no ring chaser I think and that's why whichever teams give him a contract, he'll get them.

Yep. I don't think that the Rockets will trade KD to another team especially with how they're constructing the roster right now.

Last season, the Rockets lacked a closer in crucial games, and now they have it already in Durant. Aside from that, they also got a reliable 3-and-D guy in Finney-Smith which makes their defense even better compared to last season. I would say that he's a better defender than Brooks. Overall, the Rockets is making an upgrade, and losing Durant to this "7-team deal" will just make that "improvement to the team" quite worthless.

Anyway, this is just a rumor only, and I don't see the sense of getting Durant only to get traded yet again. Well, if they will be getting another all-star player then I guess, but most probably, they will not trade Durant. And I do agree, he was inconsistent in every way that's why they've lost that series. He should be the one leading them, unfortunately, there were times that he was bench in the last minute and probably that is one sign that the coach don't trust him anymore and management might have taken that as a cue to trade him with a All Star in KD that don't choke. Yeah, and it's all about chemistry though. Booker and KD didn't click, but maybe KD and the rest of the young core of the Rockets might, but we will never know until he plays with them. And also Green, maybe this could be a wake up call for him to really step up his game because everyone can be traded and no one is safe. Just like him being the Rockets go to guy, but he just regress if I may call that during the playoff. But I do agree with the concerns of KD, he is old, maybe he can score, but there is also the mindset that anytime he might get that career ending injury. Jaxson Hayes agreed to a 1 year contract extension with the Lakers, at least for now he will still be the backup center for them, as Ayton will be arriving and be the main guy in the middle.

Not really. The Suns made the playoffs twice while Durant was in their uniform. But both times, they didn't have a deep run in the playoffs.

If the headcoach will able to blend a good chemistries between Green and Booker they'll be having a good front row as both can make a huge damage and attracts the defense, it's just on how they will established that connections and bring their role players to work with them, no hate but like you mentioned Green if fate permits not to get any major injuries he'll be able to keep improving his game and in his young age he can bring more to this league.
