[UPDATE] RX480 (Ref) 31+Mh, Custom Rom - VDDC OFFSET + Custom timing

I just got in a sapphire rx 480 4gb nitro+ card (elpida).  At default using claymore zcash amd miner ver 11.1 I was getting about 227 H/s but after implementing the rom from here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1584617.msg16814666;topicseen#msg16814666 I am able to get 254 H/s.  I would like to know if this is the max I can get out of this card, if I can get more, what settings do I change in polaris bios editor.  I have looked at this rom in polaris but unsure which section and exactly how i change the setting.  Can I just try different numbers and save and use ati flash to re program, or is it more specific so i dont brick my card

I've never tried personally, but in other thread more than one reported that it does.
Regarding ETH you do not have any improvement with those driver,

I if I was you I wouldn't update

I know this is 'somewhat' off-topic, but does anyone know which one (of the bios in OP) if any would work well for lowering power consumption while still being a good choice for multi-algo mining? (profit switching between XMR, ETH, ZEC).

Most BIOS as I understand it are specific to a single currency, but all I am really looking for is lowest power consumption at stock settings or close to on Rx 480 4/8 GB.

What timing to use for Sapphire rx 480 4 Gb Samsung bios mod?

I now use 1500 straps but it is not working good on eth i get only 27.3 Mh 1150/1850 core/memory a lot of gpu got incorrect share, make sure you did not overclock it too much!

I've got a 30+Mh rom, 480 8G Samsung, around 60-70watt GPU-Z.

The ones i shared here years ago :p, are still good, but they're not custom timings..

RX480Mod.zip give 30+ Mh and low power at card ? .. witch driver use ? old 16.9 ? without mod drivers or new 16.12+ with mod drivers ?

I use before mining XMR / mod bios (vdrop+)1125-2080 mhz  6x480 nitro + oc 8 gb and have wall 690 wats. but when i try mining eth .. i have arround 165 h/s and 920 wats ;/

So uhm, yeah, i managed to get my custom rom running on Windows 10 by bypassing that aweful signature check :p
(Kudo's to Gupsterg and Lordkag for that)
Decided to create a new thread because my other threads are becoming a serious mess..

Reason why using claymore's,  couldn't directly get Genoil's to detect my card   My apologies for that..


Results.

First run (no mod): 24Mh+ : Core clock 1275, Mem Clock 2000

Second run (modded): 28Mh : Same clocks, so: 1275, 2000

Next run (still modded): 30.5 - 31Mh : Lowered core to 1192 and raised memory to the (for now) max of 2250.

Then, for my final(for now) run: 31.5-32Mh : Raised core to 1220 and raised memory to 2275

Will be doing more tests later, i'm sure i'll be able to go over 32Mh.
Great thing about this, when i ran the first testrun with stock clocks, card was at around 60 degrees and no abnormal fan speed.

Overall, awesome card


Power usage tests will follow later when i'm done tweaking my rom to the sweet spot

Sure,I'm run on Crimson 16.8.3 and 90w per card by GPUz monitor. Total my rig around 1000w+ (480x6 and Fan 80%)
