Sorry guys, but I cannot NOT ask this question:
Why are you giving away coins just like that, instead of paying with them for bounties, where new users are added to Byteball army, more SEO is added, more bot devs, etc??
because nobody want to hold illiquid shit and dump it immediately. Now byter army get at least one reason to hold or EVEN buy btw devs do not create bots because it's unprofitable. If it were profitable, they would come without donations. No sense to subsidise useless things

Justified questions will not be answered here. The demand to pay a team of programmers who develop a real benefit for a specific target group has been around for almost two years. As far as the useless bots are concerned I can only agree with pineapple.

* Unattested addresses get 0.1 point per GB of balance. * 0.1 point is awarded for each GB of balance increase since the previous draw. * 0.2 point is deducted for each GB of balance decrease since the previous draw. Question: If you have 1 GBYTE at the draw, and 2 GB at the next draw, does that count at 0.2 points PLUS 0.1 point for the increase (0.3 points total)? If so, this can be abused, right? Move all GBYTE to another address after each draw and earn more points. Or does it mean you'll get 0.1 point from the previous draw, plus 0.1 point for the increase (0.2 points total)?
Too bad the difference for attested addresses is that high. I'd love to get 10 times more points and enjoy the "non-whale benefits", but I prefer to remain anonymous.

You reveal your identity only to Jumio, all real name attestations are private on Byteball DAG. Or have you managed to use cryptocurrencies without revealing anything about you? Even the email you use on exchange can be traced back to you. Do you use TOR everywhere? Or you suspect that real name attestation could be bugged and you reveal yourself to Tony?

I believe at some point boss Tony said that he (at least in theory) could see the identity information linked to specific addresses if he wanted to. I think he implied her had not and had no reason to, but is this not the case?

Why would you want to share your balances with Jumio or any KYC service? They can sell your data to criminals, share with government. Data can be stolen. And you become a target for $5 attack.

Hmm, no, you are not sharing your balance with Jumio or any KYC service. They will have the copy of your passport, it is not they who post the attestation hash, that's the bot, which is controlled by Tony.

Anyone who sees more in crypto currencies than Fiat winnings wants nothing to do with KYC.
Fiat => regulated markets (KYC) Crypto => unregulated markets (no KYC)
Byteball + regulated markets (KYC) = unsuccessful and worthless
Byteball + unregulated markets (no KYC) = successful, valuable and very fast and widely spread

Everything is not that black and white. It is astonishing how narrow-minded some people can be. There are many people who doesn't want to do illegal stuff, but would like to invest in cryptocurrencies, so they need KYC to deposit fiat currencies to exchange. It is perfectly normal if somebody wants to take their initial investment out to something more stable, so they will need KYC to withdraw fiat currencies to their bank. Mass adoption will come from people who don't want to evade taxes, but that can take years. Even when cryptocurrencies are mainstream, there still be traditional banks and fiat currencies. Cryptocurrencies are not about trading illegal sh!t, it's about the ability to transact without intermediates and hold keys to your own digital vault.

You reveal your identity only to Jumio That part is clear to me, and that's the part I'm not ready to do. I guess this is the part all of the wise part of the community is not ready to do, so this distribution is targeting to reward the unwise part of the community. This is a pity.

What makes you think that? 1 GBYTE = 1 point is only for the first 10 GBYTE, those who have less bytes don't mind doing the KYC, but there are also many un-attested addresses with over 100GB. Attested 10GB would have same amount points as un-attested 100GB. Attested 100GB would have same amount points as un-attested 190GB. Attested 1000GB would have same amount points as un-attested 1090GB. So, this bot is more pro staying un-attested if you are rich and pro-KYC if you not rich.

As we have seen over the past two years, the regime is not exactly glittering with wisdom. - Why expect anything different from the majority of the community?
