Cooler Master stand true to their name, their cooling products are awesome, their cabinets are also great. But their PSU's are crap (90%). I've rather bet on Seasonic/Antec/Corsair. They are the most trusted names in psus, at least when it comes to powering up computers. There is a tiered listing of psus somewhere in bookmarks, if I find it, I'll post it.

The V1000 is made by Seasonic its the new KM3 platform

So it's now 6pm Friday in Sweden, end of business day. No news on shipping. So looks like if you units are still "in progress", the earliest you might see something now is Tuesday.

The difference between "set in stone" deadline of 15th October and Tuesday 22nd is a loss of 7BTC (and counting) per Jupiter.

I'm looking at you KNC.
...and they go on break. Are they Union in Sweden?

I have requested a refund of my shipping.

I pay for next day and I won't see my item for 6-7days from the time it left.

On top of that all the BTC I could have mined in 5 days!!

To my knowledge.. nothing a customer or rep says to you is going to effect lateness on the shipping of units....get a grip
If anything... customers complaining about UPS did inflict the shipping damage
by making them use DHL instead
as far as shipping que... a line is a line... shoulda bought sooner.

I never accept the "compare to BFL" argument, because BLF are crooks who should be in prison. If they were in prison, either KNC would have delivered by 15th or never made a promise they could not keep. They would not risk being late if lateness meant financial ruin/prison.

But it seems everyone is willing to say "could be worse, could be 1 year" and that just gives KNC an out.

I don't. They stated 15th as a cold hard fact, an absolute. And it slips by hour by hour, day by day. They feed bullshit figures to customers on 9th that there are only about 1000 units left to produce. Never mind my calculations above, they have put in their newsletter that have produced 805 in 2 days of production. There is bullshit and lies being fed to us Phoenix1969. It's not so hard for you, as you have your three machines there working for you. Would you be so cool if you had none and time was heading towards another massive difficulty change?

My overnight shipping is going to take 5 days from Sweden to Texas now that they have switched to DHL.  I would have preferred broken box and fans.  It never ends.

Sorry bud, too many people complained about UPS.

I hate to be argumentative, especially after all your hard work, however, when my unit shipped on the 16th I find it hard to believe that so many people complained to the point where you abandoned the carrier altogether in favor of a carrier that takes 3 - 4 times as long

This is a time sensitive business we are in and when I pay $102 for UPS next day shipping and someone decides to change me to DHL 6/7 day shipping and does not consult me it sort of annoys me.

I am sitting here right now watching my Device sitting at DHL in Ohio where it will sit for another 3 to 4 days when it should be here with me.

No one refunding my UPS fees, no one reimbursing my lost BTC.

Again you are the closest thing to the messenger so I mean no disrespect to you when I say THIS IS WRONG.



Yes they did great on the timeline,
They did poor on the firmware,
poor on the communications,
poor on the packing, use the right boxes and you could use UPS
now poor on the speed to shipping.

ok, I agree with this... to a point.   I Honestly do believe they thought they could get me the miners when they said they would, and shiz happenz....  and I didn't enjoy the way we were kept in the dark.  But I don't believe they ever just straight lied to me.

How is it that complaining about packaging makes it ok to switch from next day to a company that doesn't even fly domestic routes in the U.S. without customer approval?
Too many peeps in here were bashing UPS

So? Who gives a s*** "what people were bashing"? Like that is ANY way to justify their actions. Give me a break.
they made the decision because so many people said UPS was not the way to go, thats customer response, and every justification they need. I dont like it either, and know UPS is better, but they made that change specifically because people told them UPS sucks. Don't blame them. Blame the people who complained about UPS, when they hadn't even had their package shipped.

Transam808- yeah... would have been in your home hashing today if it was UPS

Hawaii is about the farthest you can get from sweden, and its here within 48 hours via UPS. Nobody courrier can beat that.

One Saturn is lagging after a day of burn-in


Not lagging by much, 261GH/s, 237GH/s, 275GH/s.  You're using 0.96?  I don't have those cgminer stats reported with 0.95.

My Mercury hasn't hit 100GH/s but seems to have settled in around mid-90's according to cgminer.  Likely not the ASIC module fault as I tried going with a cheap 360 watt switching supply of a kind I'm having good success with powering a blade.  I went to 2 of the supplies in parallel even tho the  two supplies are only drawing 143 watts at the wall and bertmod reports DC/DC power 94watts.  I'll go back to one 360 watt supply and add some tantalum capacitors then after letting it run for a while I'll upgrade to 0.96.  Although I've heard that if one's system isn't doing well on 0.95, going to 0.96 isn't a help.  More than a third hardware errors.

UPS was and is the best choice.  
They have no right to bait and switch.  
They have no right to transfer complaints of poor packaging onto UPS.
