it's 11:27 am in Stockholm now and I just tried to call KnCMiner several times without success Calling from my mobile => hang up after 3rd ring Calling from landline => nobody picks up after 1-2min similar experiences ? edit: tried it some more times until I was successfull All my questions had been answered very detailed and I'm very happy with KnC support once more  |

Looking at the rise in the bitcoin exchange rate I cant help but wonder if people are seeing that mining won't break even, or is unaffordable and are buying instead to a greater extent?
Maybe the miners arent selling. Supply vs demand. Possibly. Saving up for another round of nail biting on the next gen of rigs? lmao ditto to get ROI back or double down say in feb for next round of "Searing vs the ASIC BEAST from non-fiat land" |

with firmware 0.9.5 I get a difference of ~45 Gh/s between closed and open case (~480 Gh/s vs. ~525 Gh/s).
going to try firmware 0.9.6 with closed case.
525 Gh/s closed or open case? 525 Gh/s open case with firmware 0.9.5 EDIT: in the meantime firmware 0.9.5 did reach 516.16 Gh/s with closed case. it seems to me it takes a while until it adjust to the max. level with closed case. my impression is with open case adjustment of max. level is faster. 550 open case in bsmt at 62 degrees F with a small stand alone fan blowing from left front corner to back right corner of unit at an angle to the fans/heat sinks...in order to get air circulating by the unit w/o messing up air flow of core fans....that got me to 550gh on .95 (again has been running w/o interruption since Friday when I put it up..why mess with success) |

The factory produced 280 boxes yesterday. This was the result of a few failures which have now been addressed
We will be back to full production on monday and expect to get back to shipping over 400 a day from monday onwards

So why do we have to wait till monday? Same reason when on the 9th bitcoinroma claimed there were only 1000 units that needed to be shipped, but the have shipped over 1k units already just shown in the shipping updates, and they said starting Monday they will be up to 400 plus again shipping, someone lies out there teeth is why Hold on, I hope you're not accusing me of lying there. its a pool difficulty setting.... settable in your pool options/account page ..maybe...if they allow it although eligius says the min diff doesnt work yet...it does now, for the last 2 days... ok I use slush...mainly cause i'm always reading about eligius being down or getting dos attacks or some such not sure if true what I see Searing |

New working week has started. I hope this week will see my hosted 39xx Saturn being produced and put on-line. The response from Sam saw optimistic, to the effect that my place in queue was very close to production. Lol i got more then 2 weeks status in production, i ask them refund, you will never see your money back yeah I bailed on a 2nd unit Saturn....just too weird ...it is like the pool scene in caddy shack everyone and his brother is jumping into the pool and of course we have all the other guys jumping into the pool on the next round of knc stuff that ships after nov 15th....fun times indeed also got the refund from the point of view .this was supposed to be a hobby ...anyway at least everyone moved up a step with this cancellation of the 2nd unit Saturn knc can get my 4k in the spring on the next units then maybe..that whole prev customers preferred standing has a nice ring to it ..save my pennies |

You know, a lot of the problems people have had could have been prevented by a decent burn in period. It would be fine with buyers if it meant a day late delivery because the rigs would be hashing on the pool details given so it wouldn't mean any lost income. They would just be hashing there instead of at our end but where faults are so much easier to fix.

I JUST GOT 48 F'ing cores online/a dead die is ALIVE, first try with enablecores.bin on firmware .94!
Was getting a 486ghs(avg) in CG now getting after a few min 516ghs(avg) WOAH!! All I did was stop CGminer by pressing q inside it, then I applied the enablecores.bin and rebooted. I'm an 8 VRM Jupiter guys DO THIS, stop waiting.

so let check if I understand this correctly. 1) u where running on 0.94 @ 486GH/s 2) you have a die on one of your ASIC slot with all 48cores disabled. 3) you stopped cgminer 4) apply enablecore.bin from web interface 5) click on the reboot link in the web interface. 6) after that you're mining @ 516GH/s is it right ? |
