You got a tracking number?  What number was your order?

Yes: 111xx

Nice.  My first order is 118xx and my other orders are 4 hours later.  Hopefully they all ship out this week.

I have not found any words in planB terms that says we will lose "two for one program"

And looking for news where all that was stated before we can see that "early adopter" must get "hash while wait" AND "two for one"
If they will do "hash while wait" OR "two for one" - seems that knc is goin to scam their early users

they tried. seems we were just a tad to intelligent to fall for it.

I previously warned everyone who wasn´t willing to do his refund in this thread.

While i do not want to feel "Schadenfreude", I don´t necessarily have too much pitty for anyone lacking basic maths skills.

The whole KNC cloud thing really looks like a massively shady move.
Any credibility KNC might have retained before this should surely be gone by now.

I would thank the folks that bothered to read the T&Cs and ask questions for that, seems like using your logic many here was not that intelligent..

It's true.  If you accept "Plan B" you become ineligible for the "Bonus Miner".  After confirming that with Anna, I told her I intended to cancel my order.  She denied my cancellation because they are "shipping" already.

---
Hi,

This is correct. You may choose either one.
If you choose Hash while you wait, you will not be eligible for bonus miner.

Unfortunately, we don't accept refund request any longer as shipping has started.

of course, this is the joy of a close-knit community such as we have here.
I always pause to scan the threads before making any commitments.

Actually your incorrect about Intel being the only silicon manufacture of 14nm size dies. So get your facts straight! LOL

TSMC does 14 and 16nm for selected clients.  They want to go to 10nm by 2015.

http://www.eetimes.com/document.asp?doc_id=1264668

There is no large scale manufacturing of 16nm at TSMC atm (unless there is some nand production, I dont really keep track), ofc they are making test wafers since the production is going online late 2014/2015 but you better be buddy buddy with them to do test designs and you can forget about anything close to market volume production. TSMC are not going to do 14nm at all iirc, and volume production of 10nm late 2015? Ye lets return to that at end of next year, second half of 2016 sounds more realistic.

Intel will be the only foundry mashing out volume wafers at 14nm this year (building up inventory for broadwell/skylake launch)

Given the shear number of boxes they need to produce, one should consider the option imho.
For example...  CA batch=1200 neptunes x 5 boxes = 6000 boxes
                     Batch1=1200 neptunes x 5 boxes = 6000 boxes.
So, given the numbers... if you are in the middle of batch one, say order 14xxx, then they would need to produce 9000 boxes before yours ships. That changes things for many.
You now need to decide which one will make more coin.... 3th now, which is 9000 to even 12000, boxes early(end of B1), or an extra 3th at the end of batch 3.
cheers

I had thought of that, but given the circumstances, and recent actions; I assumed any refunded orders would be "earmarked" for the datacenter, and doesn't actually "skip" orders. (Worst case scenario)
***But, even given the benefit of that doubt...
and cutting those estimates in half.... still a "tossup" to me... might as well flip a coin

That was almost a major blunder....

 Hi,

If you choose Hash while you wait, you will not be eligible for bonus miner.
As per your request, we changed your choice to Wait for Neptune.
Hash while you wait will not be activated for you.
