i cant even get into the web interface, I get to the user name and password before the interface i type admin admin but it doesnt work, not sure what to type and I have reset my controller

if you really really have to get to the GUI then hard reset is only way to go

The miner is equipped with a hard reset button. This is located next to the power
input on the controller board. To perform a hard reset on the miner you must
press the button 5 times consecutively
,
wait 5 seconds
, and then
press the button a
further 5 times
. Please note that the miner will not restart

from the manual

https://www.kncminer.com/userfiles/file/User_Manual_1.1.pdf

if you just plug the beastie in and it starts up and you use putty to ssh in and all looks good and you get to your pool
and all is well there do like me wait for a power outage before i mess with it again

my pswd on GUI also went poof...got it back but was a pain pushing the button etc (see post above) and just recently
this happened again so all else is ok on my  unit so just have not messed with it yet..miner is otherwise ok and pool ok etc

so just waiting for next brownout storm or whatever power down to mess with it..ssh wise on mine the pool info
did not change only problem (past) and now is getting into GUI ..unit only has 2 months left on it anyway before
end of life

so again...if you can just get it running as per usual asap and putty in ssh to look it over and check your pool
then you can maybe get better info then from OTHERS MORE QUALIFIED THEN ME (where are you guys) on how to approach this last problem with GUI but at least you
will be mining

if you are not mining do what i tried in posts above and manual see what happens power down by pulling plug on reboot
and wait and or do a paper clip power up etc all i know in the first instance this happend to me took me many many tries
to get it work ...so for me not getting into GUI now and all else is fine/correct is not a big deal as long as she be chugging
along ok...again for me an issue to address on a bit of downtime next time i bump the table or a brownout

but by all means get the damn thing up if it is not and just dork with it button pushing away

Searing (to late know one is on to help ..phoenix1969 used to do this every other day on modding his units heh where are you?)

i cant even get into the web interface, I get to the user name and password before the interface i type admin admin but it doesnt work, not sure what to type and I have reset my controller

er it may be Admin/Admin rather then admin/admin (capitalized?)

They found 22 blocks today at 25 btc a block * 600usd = $330,000 today * 30 days in a month = $9,900,000 * 12 months/year = $118,800,000. So, no ROI for YOU. For them plenty of ROI.

//edit - numbers were off a bit (looked at 48hr as opposed to 24hr)

we have been ripped and raped again and again by "the most trusted brand in Bitcoin mining"...

Is there anyone who DIDN'T know this was going to happen?

You've all been told this was going to happen a load of times, you just don't want to hear.

Could I spell it out any more plainly than I did in April?

P.S. Don't forget KNC have said they are hoping to set up 2 more datorhall's, pretty much as soon as they can. So you'd have to assume they are waiting for Neptune to be ready and then they will build them asap. So those who don't think the difficulty will sky-rocket are fooling themselves. And those who get later batch Neptunes are screwed, regardless if you get one or two.

By the looks of it they already started. FU Sam Cole!

2 more 10MW DCs would mean around ~26PH and if they replace the Jup one that would be a total of ~40PH. Yey!

I think it's crazy to invest in new mining hardware now until we see the diff start to level out. If you must invest fiat right now, buy BTC directly and hold it until the mining picture becomes more clear.

do yourself a favor and dont order anything from KnC.

for every miner ordered from greedy pigs, you will pay another 5 that go to their data center.

I hope that bitcoinrama received for his services on bitcointalk big check.

After the next difficulty change, the network hashrate will be ~130PH, so your estimate is way off. At this rate, the network hashrate may reach 200PH before the end of July.

yep....due to me being only legal miner in usa due to getting caught up in bank wire xfer issues...i can get 25% back in equip depreciation over a few years due to me paying on my mining income (sucks don't p/o your bank) and even when i run the calcs it barely pays for me to pick up equip ..not worth the hassle....even in my case for you guys not in my situation really makes no sense....buy fiat..as one guy who drunk the 'bitcoin kool-aid said on here' ...anything below 1000 usd a btc is a deal..if not well BTC is likely doomed with equip difficulty rise etc....so pick your poisoin ..me only hobby bitcoin toys from now on and that is only because i have some 20% equip depreciation i can use over next couple years on the stuff i already have

again don't be me ....wait till regulations change in usa hopefully in 2015 and go 'by golly IRS look at all my bitcoin 2015 was a very good year" and move on from there if you have to imho

Searing (stupid bank)

I have a Titan I ordered like 2 weeks before KNC showed its true color (at least to me) and the IRS pulled the 2013 guidelines stunt and had issues with my bank on bungled wire xfers

so anyway sorry musta been me.....they saw my Titan order come in and decided enough had been sold of KNC product they could not show their 'true colors' and go to the dark side with BFL etc

so anyway I won't be ordering anything else from them ...I do suspect the Titan may be the last equipment they make and go simply to chips and their PH farm afterward..but that is just what I think

Don't think that's their only pool as anyone can point a miner to any other pool at any time.

Yeah, they must have a shitload one thosuand of their 20nm devices ready to deploy, as my guestimate is that more than half of their Neptune customers went for the refund.

They should be able to get around 15PH in one 10MW facility by now.
