Can someone educate me on how to find the sending address for my transaction?
I used bitcoin-qt to send.
1. Transactions button. 2. Right click, Show transaction details. 3. Copy the transaction ID. 4. Go to blockchain.info, and search for the transaction ID. I'm interested to know if there's a simpler way.

Hmmmm... Sounds like a great offer to have chips refunded.
Hopefully Mine 20 BTC starting mid-sept... or get refunded 22 BTC...
Does anyone know what happens if lets say it gets up to only 2000 of the 10,000 chips for a certain batch that would be refunded and no more people are willing to request a refund? Would that mean that I will never get my refund? Or would it just mean that Ill just have to take the chips because it didnt reach the 10,000 after a long period of waiting for the big 10k?

I would also like to know how assembly refunds (if any) will be handled. At this point I am half tempted to have my boards assembled without chips. I would use the boards as wall art and a story queue of something that was almost epic; a community of strangers trusting/uniting to achieve something unprecedented. PS 86,252,232

I am also still waiting to hear about refunds for assembly and shipping. As has been mentioned, I can eat the parts cost but assembly and shipping are labor costs only incurred when something is actually assembled or shipped. Other assemblers are offering at least partial refunds so I'd like to hear from Steamboat about this possibility. I think we all appreciate what SB has done thus far and only want what is fair. IMO if I pay for labor that never occurs I should be due a refund, simple as that.

I have an question about order of batch request refund? Why begining with batch 6? Batch 1 wait the most and batch reqest should begun from first batch toward batch #6, not the last. Let say that 50% of all 6 batches want to refund, then first 3 batches would be forced to receive the chips, that is not fair as they are waiting the longest time.

NO! You are not thinking this through, and/or you didn't read the update carefully. Steamboat requesting the refund for the latest-ordered batch allows this group buy to maintain the earliest spots in Avalon's queue possible. Then the funds received from the refund will be distributed to those in the group buy who requested them, and all others move up in our queue. Customers in a batch which has been refunded will be placed in an earlier batch according to their position in that batch’s order, and their position relative to other batches. All purchases will be kept in their original order, and the order book truncated to reflect the refunded purchases.

For purchased orders prior to today. The above applies to all orders previously purchased, with the following exceptions. Customers which have already made a purchase will have the option to purchase additional chips for the original price of BTC0.086, so long as there are chips available, and any chips purchased and not used may be refunded the purchase price or shipped along with the completed units.
Each customer may choose to submit a refund request for a single order or all orders they have placed, but must refund each order in its entirety. Partial refunds for any order will not be accepted.
So partial refunds from Yifu can't be honored, but surplus chips ordered to protect against damaged chips can still be refunded if assembly has been purchased, right? This is still in effect if someone still wants to go forward with the miner? I have 2 orders, batch 3 and batch 5, and batch 5 I ordered 9 extra chips as surplus. I can still get a refund on the 9 chips assuming I don't use them, right?

Its cool Sometime people misinterupt my qestions and concerns as wining or bitching when I only want to be informed. And dont know what terms to use and not sound like I am wining. Now more then ever I would like to know klondike preformance and overlocking capabillities. That would help me with my decision and if I decide that I want the boards and want to be prepared, so better now then later, lol

Thanks for the update SB. As has been the case all along, it is clear you have been hard at work behind the scenes to make the best of this f'd situation. Hopefully folks on the forum here can show a bit more patience and bit less pitchfork grabbing going forward.

What about chip shipments for those who aren't really interested in refunds?
When are the chips going to ship??? Or rather, have ANY chips shipped???

No chips have shown up yet. Yifu is being very vague and not really telling anyone when their chips are shipping. The same thing happened with the sample chips; they kind of just showed up one day. It's been mentioned on here that there would be little surprise if this trend continued for the batches.

Last I heard, there was still not a 100% completed design, as there's never been a fully populated klondike design, and I believe BKKcoins has abandoned the project, due to the clusterfuck. Seems like it's still a gamble whether or not your klondike will even hash reliably at stock clock speeds. I don't think firmware development was even completed... So there's a pretty good chance that Steamboat's not even going to be able to deliver working units anyway, even if you do stick it out...

... and I believe BKKcoins has abandoned the project, due to the clusterfuck. False. Look at BKK's most recent post. It starts: I'm still here and haven't abandoned the project. This project has enough issues with the late chips that we really don't need the additional FUD.

Hi Steamboat, I submitted the refund request through the google doc according to the format provided in the steamboat mail for 208 chips of batch 6 with the transaction ID:d54e66187243566f3d1d1d2bf3edc1a22a1ae228dfc9024530812e0a4f06d3b1 . Is there a way to know how much refund request are there as well as what will be the approximate time to get refunded for the chips only? https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Au277u2T6_H3dGRjZkllM3R5cTdVXzZpd0h2Sm5Ub3c#gid=0I hope all the people of this doc have also submitted their request through the form. Are there any people who are not in this list but still want refund?
