It's referring to syncing the pool data to what's displayed on the website. Has no effect on mining itself as they are two different systems. Like syncing your files to the cloud. If you watch, you will see it finish the start over again and again and again. with the stats changing each time it restarts.

Yeah, it's quite sad, but that's what probability and low total pool hashrate can do Sad

The pool really needs 100 to 200 more PH! lol

Or: https://slushpool.com/terms-of-service

Quote
Transaction Fees and Payouts
  • Pool fee is 2% (calculated from block reward and transaction fees).
  • Fees from bitcoin transactions are paid to miners that use Stratum interface.
  • Orphaned (invalid) blocks are not paid. It helps to keep pool fee low.
  • Pool is not an e-wallet or a bitcoin bank. We are not responsible for loss of your bitcoins which are stored in the pool account. All your mined coins have to be regularly paid out to your secured wallet.

Im looking to try this pool. Im looking for where to point the miners on the web site. I dont know if im blind or what but could not find it. Could someone here steer me into the right direction? Thanks

It's all in the FAQ.  https://slushpool.com/help/#!/get-started/getting_started

The servers can be chosen from the following list based on your geographical location:
 Servers Location

Address
USA, east coast stratum+tcp://us-east.stratum.slushpool.com:3333
Europe stratum+tcp://eu.stratum.slushpool.com:3333
China, mainland stratum+tcp://cn.stratum.slushpool.com:3333
Asia-Pacific/Singapore stratum+tcp://sg.stratum.slushpool.com:3333

Is there a way to calculate BTC payout based on hash rate for slushpool?
I currently have only one R4 B2 mining @ an average of 8.06THs.
I was trying to calculate (based on number of blocks per day history) how much my daily average payout might be.
Thanks

It should be in front of your face when you first log into your pool management interface! Smiley It tells you the estimated daily reward. Just keep in mind that it is an ESTIMATION and pool luck is a factor.

I pointed some of my miners today at slushpool.com

But there is a configuration of the minimum diff. I don't know did I do it correct if someone could help me with this configuration would be nice.

Atm these miners are at slushpool.com

1x Antminer S9 11.85THS
2x Antminers S7 4.73
1x Antminer U1

With these miners this is my config of minimum diff.

Will add more miners to slushpool.com after some days.

1x Antminer S9 13THS
3x Antminer S7 4.73

What changes should I do if add these more.

Thanks

I'm not a member of slushpool (yet), so I can't see what you are referring to.
Sorry, I figured with a question like this people would catch on that I haven't yet joined slush.

There are a number of Bitcoin Mining Calculators out there (simply use google).

An easy one is: https://alloscomp.com/bitcoin/calculator

This will provide you with a return based on 100% luck (which fluctuates) -- also factor in the pool fees -- and you have your answer.

There are other calculators where you can put in power consumption/cost -- pool fees and everything -- and it will show you the return.

Who pissed in the pool?  Tongue

The pool luck over the past couple days has sucked!
I certainly hope no one is testing out new pool software/miners on the live Slush Pool site. That is a BIG NO-NO.  Undecided

How about some blocks to go along with the pool hash rate increase to 157PH and the BTC price increase!!!

That is all.

Have you tried sacrificing some virgins to the pool luck gods? There is nothing the pool can do about the laws of statistical probability.

I don't think I know any virgins. At least not legal-aged virgins... LOL

Yes, I understand how pool luck/probability works. But I wish Slush offered a PPLNS option. I know my tiny 60TH's is just a drop in the bucket, but it's hashing away 24/7.
Ready for the chips (blocks) to start falling semi-regularly again. I know it's just a matter of time. Grin

I for one wish that more people would mine here. Antpool has 500 freaking PH!! Slush deserves at least half of that.

Hey every bit counts!

Happy mining to you Sir.

I'm sure a lot of that is because ant ships their hardware with the pools already set and many people don't know enough about what they're doing to go in and change the settings to a pool that might be more beneficial for them. For all they know, antpool IS BTC.
Just speculating, of course....

Unless you live in China, there really shouldn't be any reason to mine on their pools.
At least that's my .02.

Nice to see another Slush block. Now I guess I will power down the two heaters (S7's) I fired up just for the day. I'll leave the night-shift to the S9's.
Mine on!  Smiley
