Thanks Grin

Keep up the good work.

except NMC reward for #8644, which I need to recalculate manually, but I'm too tired to do it now

That was the one I was thinking of the other block matches the long NMC block we had so it should all be good.

Nah, most likely something pooped out on slush's server - ie hardware related.

Ok, I'm turning down the pool because needed hardware diagnosis. This is really sad and I'm insanely upset. That's NEW SERVER.

Kind of. I think he is still working on it. I got back in about 10 minutes back but then it wasn't connecting again for a bit, so... He may be doing testing or something. Hopefully back up for the duration though. Hate going to my secondary...

i've been on your pool for about 6 months, but the last week or so when i get home I notice my workers are at 0 MH/s. when I restart them, they go back to their usual rate, then in a few hours they stop getting blocks again and go back to zero, so I have to keep manually restarting them in order for them to continue mining.

I tried api and api2 urls and it has made no difference. is anyone else experiencing this issue?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1976.msg602405#msg602405 and other issues such as DDoS lately.

What miner are you using ?  You should be able to setup a failover/backup to go to when if/when slush goes down...

Almost sounds like it might be a local network issue.

Im sure slush will be able to help you troubleshoot it, but now might not be the best time as he's been dealing with hardware problems on his new server today...

I'm assuming that you're using correct IP (which has been changed in last two days); then yes, I'm sometimes experiencing crash on my miners, too. I think it is caused some bug directly by miner or GPU drivers, because sometimes I need to restart machine completely. It's pretty annoying, because such outages like today can turn off many workers.

I had been noticing that my 4850 has been dropping down to the 300mhz after a while even though catalyst overdrive is turned on.  I would have to change the settings and apply and then change it back to get it going again.  I don't think I had updated the driver recently though.

But since I thought it might be an overheating issue I got a 6850 to replace it any way;).

So far the 4850 is working fine on another pool in my wifes computer though with the latest catalyst and sdk, though I do have the speed set a little lower than it was before.
The 6850 is still with your pool though slush.

Well, diagnosis is behind us, they're preparing new HDD. Unfortunately it's France, so it will be ready probably tomorrow.

Pool is now back up, I did some prevention like marking some parts of disk as corrupted, so I hope it will be enough until tomorrow.

I'm doing my best, unfortunately OVH support did some mistakes like they forget to setup RAID during server installation (heh). Now I know that I need to re-check everything they're doing.

OK, it failed again. Sorry, there's no other chance than wait for crappy OVH support to replace the disk. Damn! :'-(

I'm recommending you to go solo or join another pool, because pool will be down until tomorrow.

Edit: hooray, they started responding! Hope it gets better sooner than tomorrow.

OK good to know. I should have told you to avoid OVH from the start but oh well.
