I think oroboras got 4000 odd NMC as a reward the other day lol

I did *kinda* - it showed up as a reward, even went into my 'confirmed reward' when the block was finally verified, but obviously was an incorrect listing, as I have a 0.35 payout threshold, and it didn't pay out (I knew it wouldn't, tbh), but it was nice to see Cheesy

It's weird, at the moment I'm hoping the round doesn't end...

More scoring/reward weirdness:

Current round shares submitted 4797 over past 1 hour 19 minutes, but estimated reward only 0.00000127 BTC

and 18263 showing 25% of normal payout

18263 -- 2013-05-28 16:02:36 -- 2:15:30 -- 21570361 -- 8816 -- 0.00296759 -- 238376 -- 25.11542000 -- 93 confirmations left
...
18259 -- 2013-05-28 11:17:00 -- 2:18:20 -- 21656874 -- 10248 -- 0.01178656 -- 238334 -- 25.41659740 -- 51 confirmations left

Don't blame block 18264 rewards. The block is invalid anyway.
There were issues with "resetting" only some of the scores, but it's no longer important.

Ok, understand 18264 scoring -- but still have the payout question on 18263.

It's invalid for everyone - that's what it means.

as to your reward, it's just luck of the day.

Didn't Slush fixed that problem? Anyway some pool admins are doing upgrade to 0.8.2 that should help with invalid problems. So Slush do it ASAP...

Thank you, I'm still tiring to wrap my head around all this before we make an investment into buying, trading or mining bit coins for profit. The mining part is easy and addicting to my inner geek. I stumbled into Slush's pool a week ago. Glad I did, seems to be a good place for us noobs.
Thanks again, Karl

Invalids are bound to happen occassionally whether there are issues or not; The issue was a slow network connection before that caused us to have a much higher than normal invalid rate. That has been solved but we should still expect a few invalids a week or so.

Yes, I've already reported it. It's the 18264 in our (Slush) numbering:

Well first time was connection, second time was a bug in 0.8.1 and as far as I know patch that Slush applied doesn't solve the problem completely. From what I can understand that pool admins are saying they are thinking that new 0.8.2 will fix the problem... And since we are seeing big numbers of invalids again I think that is the case of patch not working... How many in 24 hours? 2 or 3? Too hi. Pool has bitcoin problems, stratum recording shares problems and reword calculation problems so it is really bad time for Slush to have personal problems and not taking care of the pool. I know he is not a robot but he should found someone to look at things and fix them or report to him. At the end of a day it is a businesses.

0.00020156 NMC

They are far and few between when they happen, when they do, they show up in the  https://mining.bitcoin.cz/stats/ as NMC rewards ( no total at the bottom ) until they roll off the list... for more info on how slow it is, check https://mining.bitcoin.cz/stats/nmc/

[EDIT]
I hope i get to keep this one!!!

Only getwork is mining NMC. It is only 2% of the pool. But everyone is getting them as long as you have a valid address. It just take time and you don't get a lot of them.

... really bad time for Slush to have ...

For gods sake, who are you to judge Slush? If you are so disappointed in this pool just go away, fuck a blender or two and leave us all alone finally.

PS. I mine with Slush since 16-th april. Lurked around the forum since, every day. My miners are on 24/7 and there were no problems whatsoever. Except the times  when pool was ddos`ed and hacked. My rewards are fine cause I never bother to check them before they are confirmed, all my shares are always there, because it is more practical to not give a fuck if 0,000shit percent are lost, than to be the epic hysterical squirrel about it. http://images.wikia.com/adventuretimewithfinnandjake/images/c/c7/Modelsheet_squirrel_-_specialpose.png

Thank`s and respect to Slush and the constructive folk who keep the forum useful!

So, if I'm mining in reverse, does that mean I'll make more coin if I stop mining? hah!
Sure. Now you are generating Anti-Bitcoins.

Wondering if my electic meter is also running backwards??

It moves perpendicularly to the time axis and feeds the electricity to the fifth dimension.

... really bad time for Slush to have ...
For gods sake, who are you to judge Slush?
One who calculated that have lost in last system crash of the reword system 0.01 BTC. If I have had all my miners hire I would have lost 0.03 BTC... And don't worry after that I did left and I'm looking when pool will become Slush pool again. Pool is good when Slush is hire. But right now it has one system failure after another. In 24 hours I have detected stratum not logging my shares for 16 minutes(after that time they did come back but according to forum posts they are lost if block ends), total crash of a reword system that cost me 0.01 BTC and 12 stratums disconnections without a reason(probably it cost me some BTC but is hard to say). If you are a hobbyist I do understand but if you look on this as a businesses it is a totally different story. ASIC is coming and every hash is important. If every day would be like that 24 hours that I tested if Slush fixed problems and I had all my miners on the pool I would lost out 0.03BTC*30days*130$=118$ per month. If I take today for example. I'm sure you had 2 invalid block or maybe even 3 not sure. That would be without even taking into account reword system problems that pool had again 0,09 BTC. So even more then in test(354$). If that are normal losses to you please send me that much or allow me to say Slush you must fix the problems. I'm not sure why you are not saying that since you should. But then again you might like to loos BTC if so you can loss then on my address I promis I will not send them back... 1CPPdCNUash5ZYQXNRDW8pQiYWzZh5hCFu
