is namecoin merged mining still available on Slush's pool?  I have an Avalon that I started a little over a week ago and ever since NMC has been "N/A".

Unless something has changed recently, phoenix doesn't do stratum.  Either use the stratum proxy, or use cgminer like the rest of the planet. Smiley

Well, that would explain that. I'd love to use cgminer but it crashes on startup for me every time.

Tried it with AMD 12.6 drivers? I had same problem with 13.xxx?

Yeah, this is a drivers issue.  You'll have to start in to the merry AMD driver dance.  I've yet to figure out what version of drivers are the most reliable.  One drive will mine LTC, a different one with do BTC, one version will work perfectly on one machine and not on another - it's a real pain.  Trial and error time.

All that said, I've had the best luck with 12.8 drivers.  They seem to be the least crashy with cgminer.

No, mining namecoins has been discontinued but slush hasn't removed it from the site yet.

This is very typical.   First you see NONE/NONE.  Then you see a count of total shares and 0/0.  Then, each workers total gets added in one-at-a-time until you see finally see  total_shares/amount. Each of these steps can take a number of minutes to complete.

If you still seeing 0/0 after 10 or so confirmations have gone by, then you can start to worry.

It takes too much current (several hours') trend into account.
And it's still too early. Smiley

There's also a link to Network Graphs on that page.
One can find graphs of network hashrate in different scales there, look at the history and the trend.
ATM, however, the last data there is from yesterday evening, fresh data is missing.
[edit] Still missing data on Jul 06 18:25... Strange.
