But if u look at the stats, price of bitcoin is averagely going up and people are earning good returns through their investments .People buy bitcoin at current rate and and later on when time comes and when they need some money,they could sell it and earn a good profit through it ,though we cant say anything about its future, but still there is a great probability of gaining some good profit through bitcoin.It gives better returns than traditional investment assets.

Even now if you go through the price growth happening, it was just around $4300-$4350, and now this has been getting closer to $4400. For me, i hold and store bitcoins for some future uses like when im out of allowance or money, i can easily widraw bitcoin in fiat currecny also im using 3rd wallet site because it has many feature like prepaid load, game credits, paying bills, shopping online etc. Another reason i store bitcoin is its price thats has been increasing now, so tthats a good reason to store btc.

People are holding on to Bitcoin basically because of 2 factors. First, its value trend today is more of rising than falling. It may fall a bit, but the rise afterwards would have a more significant value. So as per trend, it would be more practical to hold on to your Bitcoin for a bit longer until such time you think it has reached its peak. Second, Satoshi gave Bitcoin a 20-year life span if you will..Now it has been barely 8 years since its creation and we still have about 12 years to go with Bitcoin. A lot will happen in that 12 years!  Most probably a continuous rise in Bitcoin value..And this I think is the reason why many are keeping their Bitcoins so that when that time comes when it reaches its peak , it will be the time when many will be rejoicing!

Bitcoin has becamed a digital gold, soo the question is why would you sell something that you believe and know that can grow more over time, soo it does make sense to save your coins, unless you need money i wouldnt moove any coin till 2020, where for some people will be enought and will left crypto investment rich, or with a lot money to use.

For 2017 it is too late to buy and hold large bitcoin quantity. Because price is more than 4000$ and it will not exceed 6000$ for current year imo.
