Oh, I see. But damn, it's just a testnet explorer with numeric IP address. What do he expect?
Yep, that's my feeling on the matter as well - why in the world would you get an SSL certificate for a private/in-house testnet?!?

About DERO The Dero Project has written a unique new blockchain technology that is based on the CryptoNote protocol. Dero's goal is to create a unique state of the art blockchain technology with enhanced reliability, privacy, security, usability, and portability by bringing together some of the best proven technologies like the CryptoNote protocol and smart contracts, thereby allowing for the creation of truly private smart contracts.
The Dero development team has implemented complete SSL across the Dero network which is a first on any blockchain. This encrypts the entirety of our network traffic, which greatly reduces our attack surface, while simultaneously preventing ISPs or other users from analyzing Dero’s network traffic.
Dero's Key Features - DERO is a completely new and unique CryptoNote blockchain written in Golang
- DERO is the first blockchain to have complete SSL in the P2P layer
- DERO will be the first CryptoNote blockchain to have 500 transactions per second on its native blockchain without any lightning networks, validators or off-blockchain solutions
- DERO will be first CryptoNote blockchain to have smart contracts on its native chain without any extra layers or secondary blockchains
- CryptoNote privacy
- Smart contracts
- Atomic swaps
- Mobile and offline wallets
- Lightweight wallets
- Subaddresses
- Escrow services on the blockchain
- Address signing and certifying
- Voting on a private blockchain
About The Developers There are three developers working on the Dero Project who have been working in the field of cryptography and blockchain development as a team for more than a decade. Dero's research and development team are devoted full time to the project, and can often be found in our Slack channel. For now, the development team are choosing to retain their privacy until the Dero Project incorporates.
Coin Specifications - Proof-of-work (PoW) algorithm: CryptoNight
- Max supply: 18.4 million for the first 8 years followed by an infinite emission rate after year 8 of ~157,000 DERO/year
- Block reward: Smoothly varying
- Block time: 120 seconds
- Difficulty: Retargets at every block
- Ticker: DERO
Dero's Roadmap - Q1/2018 - Dero's new unique blockchain written and full Activation. - Completed ahead of schedule with the extra addition of complete SSL across Dero's network
- Q2/2018 - Record CryptoNote TX/sec, GUI wallets, sub addresses, atomic swaps, and smart contract testing.
- Q3/2018 - Smart contract support on chain. Q3 2018.
- Q4/2018 - Strategic market expansion, team growth, and more (coming soon).

A title of multiple +, wonder what has happened to this coin after half year of this announcement. Pure store of value need widely consensus. Smart contract requires high transaction capacity. Does DERO have either?

Yeah, DERO has high TPS and fast blocks I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "Pure store of value need widely consensus" ?

Smart contract requires high transaction capacity.
Forget about smart contracts for another year or 2. ETH is being ruined by bad smart contracts for scam ICOs. What I see here that is very promising is SSL encryption between nodes. Hard to believe that wasn't done before, because cleartext protocol is a huge vulnerability and privacy concern. The web implemented HTTPS ten+ years ago. Also the design choices by DERO team are solid. Go is a fast yet versatile language, Cryptonight is good algo for mining and confirming, and the command line interface is good. Open source would be nice. CLI looks like a fork of a design I've seen before but can't put my finger on exactly which one... definitiely some Bytecoin lineage.

What I see here that is very promising is SSL encryption between nodes. Hard to believe that wasn't done before, because cleartext protocol is a huge vulnerability and privacy concern. The web implemented HTTPS ten+ years ago. Yeah, I also think SSL encryption is the most noteworthy achievement, and it is difficult to believe it hadn't been done yet. You also make an interesting point about smart contracts being used to make scammy ICOs on ETH being it's real problem. I suspect the rapid increase in regulatory scrutiny on ICOs (at least in the US) will curb those abuses, which might make it safer for the second generation of smart contract platforms to launch*. Or it could be a total train wreck... That's crypto for you. * - the old saw, "you can always tell the pioneers: they are the ones face down in the mud with arrows in their backs," seems to apply here.

No GUI wallet for DERO. It's kind of incredible that someone would buy an ASIC and not know how to set up a CLI wallet... You didn't do much research before you bought that thing, did you?

... Does the dero Atlantis Will be anti asic? ...
Unknown, but seems likely since the POW algo had to change to achieve the transaction speeds our wily ol' Cap'n is claiming. That said, I imagine it is tough to give up the apparent affirmation of >1GH/s on your network, but it really would be for the best long term. I am ready to switch my pokey little 4x RX 560 rig back to DERO as soon as the ASICs get booted off, but right now it would be supremely stupid for me to attempt to mine it (I wouldn't even earn 1 DERO per month...).
